the hidden tutorial of how to actually bind stays makes me glad I stuck around. Not a lot of people actually describe how to make it look nice they're just like "Do it and ease around the curves" but I've never gotten anyone actually explaining how to do that, so thank you
That shade is like the most perfect shade of lavender honestly. I have this pattern and I keep meaning to make it and other projects crop up first so honestly I gotta get to that because the finished stays look LOVELY
This is actually probably my favorite corset pattern you've done. I remember having bought the same one around the time the first video came out. I love how both came out, I think it's overall a very flattering fit/shape. I don't think the first version was ugly in any way, but there's no point in keeping it if you don't enjoy wearing it. I hope you enjoy the new version much more and find yourself reaching for it often. ☺
I am genuinely mesmerised at how beautiful these are and the way that it fits you, legit jaw dropping! You did suchhh an amazing job, honestly this is peak fashion
The stays are beautiful! Already a cute look with the white blouse/dress you're wearing underneath in the reveal :) Also liked the old ones, although I agree that that ribbon was maybe not the best choice, but I think the fabric is very cool. Might be worth to rebind it in a colour that you like more?
I'm really late to this video and I can't remember if you've already done this, it's been that kind of year, but the cute, green linen dress might be cool to revisit. I love the purple stays.
It is neat how we all like different things. If I wasn’t decidedly plus sized, I would jump at buying the gray/green stays and would love wearing them. The lavender ones turned out beautiful, but I would never wear that colour. So glad there are choices in this world so we can all be ourselves 😊
I agree!!! Ugly was more of a clickbait title choice 😅😅 if I originally saw the stays on someone else I think I’d dislike them less! I was showing my friend the two pairs of stays and she loves the green and grey too haha, but she wears a lot of warm tones and I’m def more into cooler tones
I Love how this turned out! Seriously. So beautiful. That color looks fabulous on you. Here's an idea for a future video. I would love to see your updated sewing room. I am very inspired, always, by your aesthetic, your taste, the things you're into! So please share that with us
Those stays are perfect. Not a single wrinkle. Well done. Right now I'm slow-stitching/attempted-couture my way through a 1950's dolman sleeve blouse. I found a drapey wool crepe and wanted to make something really special. Down to using the 'good' vintage rhinestone buttons. The pad stitching is mostly done, as are the panels that make up the garment. Basically - I'm handstiching the whole thing. - Cathy (&, accidently, Steve), Ottawa/Bytown/Pimisi
This pair of stays looks beautiful and delicate. I'm having a hard time seeing a witch from this because it's giving princess. Guess I need to watch some more 😂
Love how it turned out so much!! The lavender color really compliments you! Did you also make the chemise? If so do you have a pattern for that as well? Been looking for a beautiful and delicate chemise 😆
While you may not love the colors on you, I think the combination does work. The light pink color seems to be of a similar intensity, so the green doesn't seem to be too bright. Matching the darker green of the leaves or the darker pink/red also could have worked and lowered the contrast of the combination. Since you are not happy with be binding you could photo shop it on you and see if you liked a different color better. I found the black underdress you wore in the reveal to be too intense for the soft gray of the stays and lace dress, so I wonder if a white or green under dress would have worked better. Really it doesn't matter, you learned something from making the first pair and made a pair that fits better. The lavender stays look great and the fabric is beautiful and meaningful.
It turned out great. 😊 I can't think of anything that I want you to remake. I think the things turn out well the first time. Maybe pick something that you yourself want to remake? 🙂
Wow! The stays look amazing and the dye colour worked so well! When you were doing the dyeing you looked like a cool techno-witch….. maybe make a cyber / techno witch for next year? Love your videos!❤
I really like the original set of stays, but totally understand if it's not your style. I'd 100% be interested in trying to purchase them (if we're around the same size 😅), when you're ready to sell. 😊
Hi!! I came across your videos a year ago and you really inspired me to start sewing! I was wondering where do you get your fabric? I use Joann’s, but most of the time they don’t have what I need and it’s expensive.
They're absolutely stunning! Also my cat is constantly sneezing for the past year, unfortunately it turned out he's got some chronic ilness so please please please take baby Bat to the vet! It's probably nothing, just sniffles, but in our case it turned out to be a reaccuring problem. Anyż has to take steroids now for the rest of his life 🥺 Keeping my fingers crossed for Baby Bat!
It’s our new cat sneezing! She’s been to the vet many times in the 5 months since we got her for lots of new cat checkups lol, but the vet said she’s all good! Baby bat does also sneeze but the vet said she should be good too, she likes to eat dust and cobwebs for snacks 😅
👀 would absolutely love a chance to snag your sales so i can really get a look at your construction work 👀 It would be nice if you could possibly include a community post here to make sure its seen outside of just the IG sphere for those of us who aren't on that platform
Also, if there's time, I would love a tour of the gallery wall. The art is all absolutely gorgeous and I am always interested in following more artists 👀
The song with the singing was a little bit too loud for me. I love "hearing" your videos with the sounds of sewing, cutting, marking and so on. It gives me the positive goose bubbles of "feeling" the sewing and the drive to go to my sewing table myself and continue my one projects.
The self depreciating "humor" needs to stop. It's disheartening at best and depressing at worst. It's not relatable, funny, or cute. Have more faith in yourself. If you keep saying negative things to yourself and writing them down, you will believe them. Believe it or not this is me caring lol I am an aggressive cheerleader. Now change that title Minji! ❤❤❤❤
I just really don’t like the color of the stays I made before! I don’t feel bad about it or negative towards myself I just don’t like looking at them 😅 sometimes I pick bad colors and that’s ok lol

Now I just need to know how to go around corners and consistently make them nice 😂
The stays turned out so beautifully!! Looking forward to the finished Cobweb Witch 🕸

Ty!!! I do love the new version so much and will def be wearing it a lot more!
Yayyyy! Witch Costume tradition is back🎉🎉🎉
The stay is sooooo beautiful, the color is perfect.
Ty!! Yesss trying to get back to regular schedule of videos 🥰
@@moth.faerie I'm excited to see more of your crafting work/vlog videos!
That purple turned out great! Can't wait to see the rest.
I am genuinely mesmerised at how beautiful these are and the way that it fits you, legit jaw dropping! You did suchhh an amazing job, honestly this is peak fashion
Thank you so much for wearing proper ppe while dyeing!
They're so gorgeous! The dye came out beautifully.
My cat also chews things she shouldn't. Lol
Beautiful! I love the color 💜

gorgeous stays!! love the texture and the color!
I have a similar lavender brocade fabric I thrifted, and I think I might need to make stays or a corset now ❤
I'm really late to this video and I can't remember if you've already done this, it's been that kind of year, but the cute, green linen dress might be cool to revisit.

Your hair is so pretty 😊 and i also liked the previous stays

Thank you! It’s good to hear from you 🥰 that sounds beautiful!! Yay for using the good buttons haha
Wow!! Gorgeous new stays. I LOVE that color
This pair of stays looks beautiful and delicate. I'm having a hard time seeing a witch from this because it's giving princess. Guess I need to watch some more 😂
These look absolutely beautiful but I didn't think your other witchy stays were ugly at all!! The opposite, you were a beautiful swamp witch 🧹 🪄
Haha ty, I don’t personally like the colors but I’ve had other people say they love them so just personal preference!
The lavender is so so lovely! 💜
Love how it turned out so much!! The lavender color really compliments you! Did you also make the chemise? If so do you have a pattern for that as well? Been looking for a beautiful and delicate chemise 😆
It’s actually just a blouse I thrifted!
Rebind the grey green stays with a red that matches your hair! It would still match the fabric and would suit your aesthetic even with jeans

this is so gorgeous! You did a fabulous job. :)
Your sword tatoo is just so beautiful! I think it every time but I don’t think I’ve actually ever said so.
I am so bummed we missed each other!!! Love these videos of yours
So excited to get stay videos again! Your channel is my favorite for stay making. Will you try the Augusta pattern?
They’ve been on my list for a while now! Definitely will try to get to them soon
I have the same patter, had to make changes as I made ( i dit not have time for a mock-up). Now you make me feel like I should redo it properly.
Wow! The stays look amazing and the dye colour worked so well! When you were doing the dyeing you looked like a cool techno-witch….. maybe make a cyber / techno witch for next year? Love your videos!❤
👀👀👀ooooh that’s a good idea I’ll have to make a note of that!
Looking great!!❤❤❤

Great costume so far Minji
I like!!! that you' sew!

If I’m not able to source in LA or NY fabric districts, I get most of my fabric from mood fabrics 😊
They're absolutely stunning!

I’m still working on getting my studio entirely decorated but there will definitely be a tour when I’m done!

i liked the old ones better
I miss the asmr sewing sounds!! But I love this corset, you did amazing!

Ah good to know, thanks for the feedback! I tried to lower the vocals but I’ll pick no vocal songs for sewing videos in the future!
