It's probably been my favorite aspect about most of your videos, you just talk about a lot of your experiences with a lot of enthusiasm which make your videos really entertaining.
I still remember trading in all the old stuff to get a new console. Kinda just had to do it to make it affordable. I hated getting pennies from Gamestop for all the games that I had really good times with. Even then I kinda felt like we should have hung on to some of it but hindsight is 20-20 at this point.
XBox' biggest regrets: -never creating a portable system -buying smaller companies, only to not use their skills afterwards -stupid names: 360, ONE, X1X, wtf -going out of business..
The Xbox One is probably my biggest regret. Day one, $500, no games. Exactly one year later, November 22nd 2014, the console was selling for $350 WITH two games. That very day I vowed to NEVER purchase a new console on day one ever again.
1.Buying Lunar DS 2. Getting Resident Evil 6 at a midnight release 3. Selling my copy of Parasite Eve in 2018 for like 15 dollars. 4. Not buying more games when I was younger!
About not buying more games when I was younger, I DEFINITELY regret not buying a few games that later would have netted me a ton of money, like my Blockbuster selling a copy of Dragonball GT on PS1 when the nobody knew what Dragonball was yet. Even just a few years later it could have earned me hundreds of dollars.
I regret getting out of gaming for dental school. I missed the ps3 and ps4 eras… what brought me back to the hobby was the Nintendo switch. Since then I’ve been gaming full force, even at my job waiting for patients to arrive, I bring a DS or switch with me. Now, I’m buying games for the consoles I did not play then (xbox360, ps3).
For me, I strongly disagree. I feel like that was the worst general era of games. Generic, blend shooting games with washed out graphics. And Japan was Ankh Ing out garbage like lost planet trying to compete with western shooters. It was a bleak time. But if you liked the genre that was on top then I can see how it would’ve been really great.
@@JazGalaxyI don't get your point. There were tons of good games back then besides shooters and it was the last generation where couch coop was celebrated
I understand we were all hyped for the PS2 back in the day. I gave my PS1 collection to my sister's friend who was going away up north and one of those games was Klonoa door to phantomville and I didn't understand how rare that game was a tiny part of me regret giving that game away but later on it was going to a better home so I said no.

Look at what games got ported to other systems and play them there. In Happyconsolegamer last episode, he talked about a Capcom collection coming out that had the Powerstone games on it. There is Shenmue 1 and 2 on the PS4. Sonic adventure I think has a port on the Gamecube, and xbox 360. There is a game on the xbox 360 called dreamcast collection.
I've come across more disappointments than regrets. As I got older, I quit falling for trailer hype in general (movies, shows, games). I haven't bought a game full price at launch since Red Dead 2 (before that, probably something on PS3) , and never pre order anything. I just don't have expectations with anything anymore. I end up not being disappointed, and it's worked out well for me the last 10 or so years. The way the internet is now, it's too easy to get all the information you would ever need before wasting money and regretting it.
In grade 9 I had saved up couple hundred dollars from doing odd jobs & was planning on buying some new games. Went to Toys r Us and somehow had talked myself into buying the SuperScope for the SNES with the pack in game collection. Got home & played it for about an hour, and then the buyers remorse set in. The fact that it took 6 double-A batteries to function & the lack of games available disappointed me. I remember feeling so let down by the whole experience in general. Thank goodness I was able to go back and exchange it the next day & ended paying a bit more to get a Sega Genesis with Sonic 2, best decision ever!
My dad had cancer near the end of his life. I still had somethings left at his house since i moved out in my mid twenties. Once in awhile, he had those gigantic mood swings and tantrums. I had 3 full boxes of nintendo power magazines and other relics of my childhood in my old bedroom closet. One day, he litterally had one of his moments and put all those boxes for the garbage trucks to pick them up. Sometimes, it stings thinking about my treasures... but I'd trade anything off of my videogame collection or all of it to have one more day with him. Regrets of not having spent enough time with him and shutting myself from him in that old room for days and months when I was younger...
It's just stuff in the end. I tossed gaming related things when I moved out of my parents home and later got into the idea of collecting game stuff. It bugs me when I remember it and then realize; what was I gonna do with it anyway? It was gonna sit there.
I hated the demo, but I am really enjoying the main game so far. I hated the demo because it did not start from the very beginning of the main story. It took me 5 hours or so to get to where the demo started.
Right now my biggest regret is buying as many digital games for my Switch as I have. Can't beat the convenience but I really prefer to have a physical copy and a box for my gaming shelf. I didn't understand the value of buying physical games for the Switch until I bought a second Switch for the kids to play on. I quickly realized what a pain in the ass it is to share games that I "own" when I only have a digital version.

I would have played more demos and used rental services and I would have been willing to sell more of my games after I experienced them. Collecting got me into a lot of trouble, mainly with physical space and maintaining the games and systems. I have sold most of my games now, keeping old the things I really enjoy. Since I do most of my gaming on the Steam Deck now, it is very easy to add a game to my wish list and then really scrutinize it before finally making the purchase. I usually only purchase when it is discounted as well. I still have so much entertainment that I am content most of the time with what I have access to nowadays.
My biggest gaming regret: when I went off to college, my cousin wanted to “borrow” a bunch of my PS1/PS2 games that I didn’t take with me. Of course they grabbed the most interesting stuff. Never saw it again. We’re talking long boxes of Twisted Metal, Loaded…the original Tony Hawk games, Crash trilogy, GTAs, Namco Museum Volumes with the letters on the cases. Unrelated to the video but i’d just like to say i discovered your videos a couple of weeks ago and you’re immediately among my favorite youtubers. You got me wanting to play jrpg’s now, i started tales of arise, and i’m going to play secret of mana for the first time with my dad, so thank you for your passion for games.
When I was a dumb teen I was stuck in a loop of selling games when I ran out of money and bought when I could afford them. Games were sold for so little that it wasn't ever really justified, but when your bank account is in double digits every penny mattered. Now I penny pinch in other areas than on my beloved past time. Learning to cook for myself and freezing leftovers helps.
I think my buying regrets in more recent times are getting games full price right before they get massively discounted on sale. But also buying certain limited editions for the artbook, only for it to be 45 pages and more of a manual/pamphlet. But I will never forget the time that I had stayed up all night refreshing Best Buy so that I could purchase the Fire Emblem Fates limited edition only for paypal to not load fast enough
-Buying Bubsy the Bobcat on the SNES and never trading it in for some reason -Bough Earthbound at launch, sold it CIB (Players guide, big box) for $7 or $14 (still have the receipt) So I hate seeing everyone's Eartbound box in the background. Reminds me of my failure. -Loaning out my Sega CD with SNATCHER and never getting my stuff back.
@polystrate1 clearly you don't have a clue what you are talking about. My guess is you don't own a PSVR2 and are just regurgitating some dumb comment you heard
@@loudoesreviews small sweet spot is a huge issue. Also, the halo effect and other distortions of fresnel lens. I doubt any company will use those crap lenses going forward and sony will bow out of the vr industry with the V2 failure.
I was 11 years old and a young Retro Gamer at a flea market and I saw a NEO GEO with around 12 CIB games.. Dude wanted 25 for the whole set and my Dad was willing to get it for me but he said you know we don't know if it works... so I didn't insist and walked... Will never forget that.
Most recent regret: Buying The World Ends With You: Final Remix on the Switch. Had no idea it was touch screen only. Also selling my entire Switch collection last January and all my old Game Boy/SNES stuff a long time ago. Slowly building it back up.
My biggest gaming regret, I think was not buying a Virtual Boy when it was on closeout for 40 dollars at Toys R Us. They had entire endcaps full and they were basically just throwing them away. At the time I felt like it wasn't even worth the 40 bucks but I always regretted it.
It's very fun and I got mine at Blockbuster for $30. The games were $3. I regret not buying more. Many years later (2009) I bought some on eBay and some systems for ~$75. Now i regret that I didn't buy more of them.
Biggest regret was selling ALL of my gaming stuff years ago, included all my games, consoles, collector's items, was broke and needed the money but wish I had just clamped onto them a while longer.
I like the psvr2 a lot, but the quest 3 with the pancake lenses is so much better. You should get one. Batman Arkham and Hitman are coming up and Asgard's Wrath 2 is amazing
That VR2-experience... So recognisable... Same here.... I recently bought 'No Man's Sky' during the summer sale in the hope of rekindling the VR2-fire.
Thanks so much for the shoutout! Was waiting to see your regrets! Probably my biggest one in terms of mmorpgs was not getting into Runescape in its early days. At one point I had a purple party hat and man I regret losing that account. But if I began from its launch day I would be so incredibly wealthy in that game. Also I need that DragonQuest keyboard. I'm about to spend too much money on getting one.
I've had mine for over a year now and it's become a regular part of my gaming! So many fun games! It took me a few weeks to get used to being in vr, but worth it for me!
I have no regrets. I do the best with the information i have at the time. If something doesn't workout then i learn from it and adjust for future situations.
Was kinda sad to see the Portal mentioned at first. Because it's one of my best recent purchases. But nice to see your wife understands how awesome it is.
My Oculus gets the same love as your PSVR2. I played it a lot for a month or so, then it got put away. There are definitely games I'm interested in, but I hate going through the process of breaking out the headset, clearing an area in my room, making sure the dogs don't have a way to wander in while playing, etc. it's just so much easier to pick up a controller and sit back in my chair
I wish there were more sit back and chill VR games like Tetris. I just want to be immersed in a world, I don’t want to have to be ducking and jumping and swinging my arms around 😂
@@MrVisde if you're into Star Trek there's a VR Bridge Simulator out there. It's on Oculus, Steam and PS4 VR. The Steam and PS4 versions can also be played without VR now
My biggest regret in gaming is leaving my officially branded PlayStation CD wallet at my friends girlfriend's house over the weekend while I went home to catch a few hours of sleep and two days past and when I got in touch with my friend, apparently he had broken up with his girlfriend and had a big fight and I could not get him to go with me back over there to get my games.... Long story short I had just about every AAA game from 1995 to 2001 in that CD wallet, all black label, all original copies, and all still played- I'm talking games like: Resident evil 1-3 Dino crisis Xenogears Silent Hill Gran Turismo Gran Turismo2 Need for speed III Hot Pursuit Need for speed High Stakes Jumping flash Ridge racer Rage racer Ridge racer type 4 Tekken 1-3 Fear Effect Andretti racing Rallycross Twisted metal 1-3 Vigilante 8 Driver 1 & 2 Point blank + Gun Destruction Derby 1 & 2 Metal gear solid College slam Street fighter the game the movie Final Fantasy VII Final Fantasy VIII Final Fantasy IX Rival schools Wipeout Warhawk Fade to black Crash bandicoot 1-3 Jersey devil And this list is getting really long, but I tried to list all the games that I lost ....😞 I would still have all of them today! Some of the cases I still have like the case to Destruction Derby, jumping flash, Tekken, Ridge Racer, and a few others, long boxes still in mint condition, or near mint...... Not to mention, I had five memory cards in the case, plus my original memory card with my Jin Kazama sticker on it.... If anybody ever comes across this ...... lucky you
Dragon Quest 11: S significantly got me into JRPGs and it became my favorite game of all-time and it's absolutely disappointing that we can't play most of the mainline Dragon Quest games on modern day consoles.
Was gonna suggest this for Johnny, get a PC Adapter. It breathes a ton of life into the PSVR2. Even just watching movies in your own imax theatre in VR with Virtual Desktop 👍
Bought it not long after release for practicly nothing when shops started to put it in the bargain bin. Now years later, it's one of the best games on my psvr2.
The PSVR gave me terrible motion sickness after playing Ace Combat 7 and Star Wars Squadrons. I was stuck on the couch for a day and a half to recover.
Try taking Ginger root supplement before playing to help you with the motion sickness, it really helped me and now I have totally gotten used to VR, your tolerance will go up if you just stay with it! Good luck!
I agree with the VR thing. Vr is amazing and fun but I prefer the idea of going to one of those vr places with the moving floors and harnesses instead of buying a whole headset. A headset is like you try out the cool thing and then put it down for months. I feel the same about most of the gimmicky products where its really cool but not super practical to own.
Tbh SquareEnix owns the IP to Xenogears. While Xenosaga is owned by Bandai Namco. It couldn't be like Xenogears because of copyright issues. I still think Xenosaga is good it's in own right. Xenosaga is 2 was weak but I really enjoyed 1 and 3.
It's awesome that Kim's into RPG's. I remember Johnny talking about a girl wanting to come over and he warned her that he would be playing either FF6 or Phantasy Star 2 all day haha. I'm happy you guys can share your love for gaming that must mean the world! Hope everyone's doing well, loving the content lately!
About 12 years ago I had an enormous retro collection. I had a lot of expensive games that are now more expensive today. I sold them as a lot for way less than they cost so I could buy car parts that I desperately needed. I had 500 plus games across 13 consoles. I really regret it but thanks to emulation and homebrew I can still play almost all of those games.
Back in 2011 there was video store that was going out of business in my town. They had gamecube games being sold for $10 each. I passed on getting any. I so regret that now.
Like you Johnny, I am a huge Dragon Quest fan. That's why I'm so happy I can read Japanese because I ordered Dragon Quest X offline for the Switch, and it was one of my favorite rpgs to date! I'm especially happy that they released the offline version, because I don't like MMORPGs, but I love single player JRPGs
I spent my teens and early 20s not playing any games. Life happened and I told myself I didn't have time. Now I am playing all the games I didn't experience during that time. I have kids so now I REALLY have less time but I enjoy gaming so much.
Can relate to the collector/fan dilemma. For me it is music themed. Buying new albums from beloved bands that just don’t click (and never will) but have to be there is equally sad.
Sold just about every game I owned due to financial issues years ago. I'm sitting on about only 15 to 20 physical games now. One day I'll have another collection
When I moved out of home, I sold all my Atari 2600, Sega Master System, Mega Drive, Mega-CD, N64, GameCube, GBA, SNES, PlayStation One, Saturn, XBox Original, and Dreamcast, along with 100s and 100s of games across all the systems. I'm a huge JRPG fan, and I sold them all for next to nothing. I still think about this at night. Its my single one true regret, Id give anything to change what I did. 20 Years later, I have slowly collected and own half of the systems again, I'm still missing heaps, and I own a handfull of games for each system. In saying that, I have a pretty good collection of current generation games to my name. Also, I recently purchased Concord.
My most recent gaming regret is pre-ordering the Tomb Raider Collection for Evercade through Amazon. Nobody in the USA had their orders fulfilled. It's now days later and there has been no response or statement about it from Blaze.... Zero. I just cancelled my order and will now be happily spending that money elsewhere. 🤦♂️
Dragons dogma 2. I felt that the old rpg formula was enjoyable for the first 30 hours but after that doing task became repetitive and annoying because you can’t do fast travel. Want my 80 dollars back….
I regret not buying everything for the ds when it was current. I kept it minimal just for mario and such. But I was young, and you know cod is the cool thing.
Here is something you wouldn’t regret: Getting you and Kim into Final Fantasy XIV! You have the best video game channel on TH-cam imho…please, good sir! Y’all deserve that epic experience! 🙂
I gave full console collections to my brothers for Christmas every few years. While im sure they appreciated them at the time; what I didn’t know was that my parents were selling them off every few years as they were “obsolete” in their eyes.
I sort of regret selling my Saturn. I loved it and the games I had on it, but I wasn’t investing a lot of time into it and so many games were just becoming so expensive that I just didn’t really see myself collecting any more for it, so I sold it. Not a total regret but sometimes I kinda wish I still had it.
There are many games that I played that didn't live up like Final Fantasy 15. I hope more companies have betas and demos so we can try before we buy because full refunds are rare. Cool video. ^_^
We were broke for a big chunk of my teens and early 20’s and I always sold most of my stuff every time a new console came out so I could get the next one. Really wish I had all of that stuff back now at 34 lol. If anyone reads this and is thinking of selling their collection don’t do it. You will regret it.
I’m like Kim, loving my PS Portal. The thumbsticks are weird, but that extra 30 mins gaming in bed is just the best. There’s a few games I regret buying, but that’s how you learn what you like and develop criteria for what games you should buy in future.
Mine was choosing a Game Gear over a Game Boy. I already had a NES and SNES, and wanted to finally get a Sega system (And in color too!). Not only did I dare not play it without the AC or car adapter, the library wasn't a fraction as good as the original Game Boy's. After having an amazing time playing LTTP over and over, it was a shame I didn't experience Link's Awakening until the late 90s.
I’m with you on the PSVR2. I did enjoy playing Call of the Mountain for the few hours I played it. Sadly, I get a sick headache every time I play the thing. And now that there’s a price drop I really regret it.
I once bought a sealed copy of Fist of The North Star Lost Paradise on PS4 and when I opened it up, inside was a scratched dvd of Buffy The Vampire Slayer the t.v. series. The worst part is that I bought the game at a retail outlet. It was purchased at Meijers of all places... definitely the most bizarre purchase I ever had buying a video game.
For me , triangle strategy, live a live switch version, DMC 1-3 collection PS4 ( Still hated the default on 3 no buts ) and perhaps ever Oasis 3ds game , mh world iceborne and several SEVERAL others I never clicked with 😅😅😅 don't judge me as I have odd gaming preferences

My biggest regret would be throwing away the boxes and stuff from my NES and SNES games.
We all did that at the time. I have a memory of my dad throwing them away to save space.

I was kind of surprised you didn't mention that the VR2 wasn't backwards compatible; that was the main gripe I had with it
-Buying Bubsy the Bobcat on the SNES and never trading it in for some reason
-Bough Earthbound at launch, sold it CIB (Players guide, big box) for $7 or $14 (still have the receipt) So I hate seeing everyone's Eartbound box in the background. Reminds me of my failure.
-Loaning out my Sega CD with SNATCHER and never getting my stuff back.
Keeping games in a basement. Lost a lot of my stuff to a flood.
Damn!
I love my VR2 but I only use it for Grand Turismo with my racing rig and it's amazing for that. Other games not so much.
The VR2 screens aren't very good for gaming
@polystrate1 clearly you don't have a clue what you are talking about.
My guess is you don't own a PSVR2 and are just regurgitating some dumb comment you heard
@@perrythesylvester the OLED screen are sharp but blur easily. They also use fresnel lens, which aren't very good
@@polystrate1 Nonsense. The only drawback with fresnel lenses is the small, sweet spot but once you get that locked in, the clarity is very good.
My biggest gaming regret was throwing away all the game magazines I grew up with, including Nintendo Power and Die Hard Game Fans. Still hurts.
I regret selling my dreamcast with skies of Arcadia, miss that system and game
I love that even in a regret video one of your examples has a redemption arc. Can't help being positive !
Selling some of my favorite complete SNES games many years ago that are worth hundreds if not thousands of dollars now is my biggest regret.
Appreciate all the work you do fr. I hope to be as successful as you, man.
well shoot, I just bought a PSVR2 two days ago 😅 It's my first VR experience, so I'm definitely excited about it
I've had mine for over a year now and it's become a regular part of my gaming! So many fun games! It took me a few weeks to get used to being in vr, but worth it for me!
Get the pc adapter and it’s value will be clear
@@ShinYaguchiSama only got a mac
I have no regrets. I do the best with the information i have at the time. If something doesn't workout then i learn from it and adjust for future situations.
Gaming regret is buying special edition of games that I didn't end up playing more than an hour... .hack/GU and sakuna....
The Steam and PS4 versions can also be played without VR now
I got and fell in love with the portal day one
Dragon Quest X Offline hurts even more 😢😭
My current gaming regret is not trying the Y's series until this week. Absolutely phenomenal.
Long story short I had just about every AAA game from 1995 to 2001 in that CD wallet, all black label, all original copies, and all still played-
I'm talking games like:
Resident evil 1-3
Dino crisis
Xenogears
Silent Hill
Gran Turismo
Gran Turismo2
Need for speed III Hot Pursuit
Need for speed High Stakes
Jumping flash
Ridge racer
Rage racer
Ridge racer type 4
Tekken 1-3
Fear Effect
Andretti racing
Rallycross
Twisted metal 1-3
Vigilante 8
Driver 1 & 2
Point blank + Gun
Destruction Derby 1 & 2
Metal gear solid
College slam
Street fighter the game the movie
Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy IX
Rival schools
Wipeout
Warhawk
Fade to black
Crash bandicoot 1-3
Jersey devil
And this list is getting really long, but I tried to list all the games that I lost ....😞 I would still have all of them today!
If anybody ever comes across this ...... lucky you
My biggest gaming regret... Selling my old consoles for the new ones.. I miss my old consoles... ☹ To anyone reading this, keep your consoles..
I once traded in Shining Force 3 on the Saturn for Command and Conquer. I still have command and conquer. Very poor decision.
Dragon Quest 11: S significantly got me into JRPGs and it became my favorite game of all-time and it's absolutely disappointing that we can't play most of the mainline Dragon Quest games on modern day consoles.
Grateful Sony made a PC adapter for VR2!👍
Valuable information. I'm sure Steam opens up a massive vr library for PSVR2 owners.
Was gonna suggest this for Johnny, get a PC Adapter. It breathes a ton of life into the PSVR2. Even just watching movies in your own imax theatre in VR with Virtual Desktop 👍
You guys are so awesome!
I know the truth though, you are just trying to kill time until Dragon Quest mainline titles start coming out.
Biggest regret is preordering “No Man’s Sky.” It’s the game that has forever stopped me from preordering anything ever again.
Bought it not long after release for practicly nothing when shops started to put it in the bargain bin. Now years later, it's one of the best games on my psvr2.
Ancient Dungeon and Compound have been 2 of my favorite psvr2 games. If you like Retro games, these would be right up your alley. So much fun in VR.
I regret buying the Xbox Series X!
It makes for a hella nice dedicated emulation box.
I love my PS Portal. It took getting a mesh WiFi set up with Ethernet backhaul to the PS5, but it works great.
Xenosaga, thinking it would be anything like Xenogears.
Johnny you should get a Steam Deck, I recently just got one and it is blowing my mind. Best purchase I have ever made.
Not buying more 3ds games
Back in 2011 there was video store that was going out of business in my town. They had gamecube games being sold for $10 each. I passed on getting any. I so regret that now.
It is really nice that you don't regret buying the portal because your wife love it.
It is all tricky advertising, simply admit it
@@alekseev1986please don’t bring your fanboy negativity here.
More recent regret: buying several Analogue consoles that I’ve barely touched
This is a great one. Thankfully I stopped at just the Mega SG.
I spent my teens and early 20s not playing any games. Life happened and I told myself I didn't have time. Now I am playing all the games I didn't experience during that time. I have kids so now I REALLY have less time but I enjoy gaming so much.
As a MASSIVE VR Fan I rolled a tear when you pulled out the PSVR2 but... yeah. I regret mine too. I sold it. I have a Quest 3 and love it though.
Can relate to the collector/fan dilemma. For me it is music themed. Buying new albums from beloved bands that just don’t click (and never will) but have to be there is equally sad.
Battlefield 2042
I would’ve said this as well if I didn’t enjoy it so much when it came out. Over 100hrs clocked in.
@@ProjectSh4dowI struggled to enjoy it. I wanted to so bad because I’m a fan of the series. Glad you enjoyed it though
I did same thing. Still mad at myself
I did the exact same thing. Right when I moved out I was desperate and needed money immediately.
Why would you buy concord lmao
@@Talking_Ed the game itself is somewhat fun.

I don't remember wonder boy much but it reminds me of shantae games a bit
Sold my entire gamecube collection for a PS3 at launch…I was young, dumb, and have spent the past 18 years slowly recollecting what I lost 😂
I regret not buying everything for the ds when it was current. I kept it minimal just for mario and such. But I was young, and you know cod is the cool thing.
The fact that guy went out of his way to record dq 10 footage for you easily gets a sub from me
Keep surprising us with your wonderful ideas. Your videos are a real inspiration.🌆🐱🖥
Definitely selling some of my ps1 and ps2 games. I eventually bought most them back again.
Dragon Quest 10 hurt me too. I loved 9 and had a wii..i was hoping for one last hurrah playing dq 10 on it.
Here is something you wouldn’t regret: Getting you and Kim into Final Fantasy XIV! You have the best video game channel on TH-cam imho…please, good sir! Y’all deserve that epic experience! 🙂
Throwing away the boxes to my games back in the day such as NES and SNES games! My regret!
I gave full console collections to my brothers for Christmas every few years.
While im sure they appreciated them at the time; what I didn’t know was that
my parents were selling them off every few years as they were “obsolete” in their eyes.
I don't have a lot of regrets, but selling my DS copy of The Dark Spire for almost nothing in 2009 was one of them lol
I'm considering buying a PSVR2 just for No Man's Sky 🙂 Thanks for another great vid Johnny
I’m like Kim, loving my PS Portal. The thumbsticks are weird, but that extra 30 mins gaming in bed is just the best.
There’s a few games I regret buying, but that’s how you learn what you like and develop criteria for what games you should buy in future.
The fact that I never baought Einhander for the original PS1 before it became hard to find and now you're lucky to find it for under $100
Mine was choosing a Game Gear over a Game Boy.
