I'd say the 4th reason not mentioned is if you're not 100% committed to your main yet. Making a boss mule is a good way to try out a class in relevant boss content, sometimes the boss mule might just become your new main because you discovered new things you enjoyed about it compared to when it was a legion mule. And if the mule doesn't end up being your new main, it becomes a weekly boss mule all the same, you pay the "cost" of making an inefficient boss mule to try out/demo a class you were interested in maining.

another thing with making mules is once you get one going you now have that to trade carries for another mule to get it started then you can double and double and so on
One thing you didn't touch on this video (but have done before in the past) is making cheap boss mules that can go up to CRA or just below. There is a decent jump from CRA to lomien imo in the resources you need. On the other hand, even someone with a main that's nowhere near liberation can benefit from the 250 to 700 million mesos generated by baby boss mules.
True, you can also start them as CRA and over time fund them to Normal Lomien status with extra resources. Just doing 3 doors only and maybe hard mag/Czak (if vellum is too slow) can net you 500m easily in 30 minutes or less with almost no real funding
Very good point yeah! This video is specifically mostly for when you want to make like the full proper donezo boss mule that does lomien and everything. If you want just to make some baby mules, you can do it much earlier
Can’t argue with the maths, but it does presume you value efficiency over fun. If you can’t stand meso farming then the value of a boss mule jumps dramatically, and is worth funding much earlier.

great video and great info! ty sir. i think i neglected a main too much and tried making too many bossing mules and just failed miserably at both lmfao. this video really made me realize what i should be prioritizing instead.
You can just make the boss mules up to 3 doors and have them self fund by taking half of the money they made and re investing into themselves and go at it like that. It’s what I ended up doing after I broke the 7 boss mules mark ( now have like 16 don’t use half of them 💀)

In regular server it only cost 400M to make a boss mule - aka ultimatum ring build + paladin kekw. that ring is bonkers and will get you as far as akechi/cpap just with it alone
this is basically reboot only, boss mules are terrible in reg server
@@anonymousl5150 i wouldn't say they're completely terrible in reg. Although our crystals are basically 20% of reboot. we can sell our drops for more income in the Auction House. I currently have 2 lomien mules and 6 aketchi mules and i get about 3b a week from crystals and another 3-5b from the drops i sell for about 8b a week and maybe 5b a week on the low end if im less lucky. If i include my main's drops i can get 7 on the low end and 12-13 on the high end. (maybe 20 if im blessed with PB drop that week) and like the previous guy said. if you grab ultimatum ring it basically 4X your burst so clear times can be closer to reboot clear time with less funding
@@anonymousl5150boss mules are actually even more profitable in reg server, because you're farming for drops and cubes you can sell service for. literally can make 1b per night. In reg server, you're basically not farming for crystals, they are just icing on the cake. The cubes are where the money is made. it's bonkers really!
@anonymousl5150 it's not terrible, but it's not an optimal choice if you aren't funded to make strong boss mules.

Is this including pno because I feel like my boss mules that are ~24k stat 900af ~92 ied with level 40+ nodes are taking around 35-40 min. Maybe bc I don’t have gskills? My pno lotus damien take each roughly 4-7 min. I thought with my stats I should be doing them a lot quicker.
This is not including princess no but there can be other factors that make your boss clear time, maybe you're not buffing enough, like yeah no gskills, maybe no guild atmospheric buff, fame buff, red/green pot. maybe 15% ied familiars. You could also just not be playing your class optimally or using the right node setup. Could be a lot of things
Why not just boss with ur main for example shadower?

Hi bro, I've been playing maple since 2008, but I stopped years ago and started playing again. I'm pretty lost with the progress of the game right now, my main is 220 and I'm having trouble getting the Root Abyss set, because even though I have Now with my Pensalir set at 15 I still don't do too much damage to the necessary bosses, any advice you could give me?
PS: I made a second character taking advantage of Tera Burning, precisely to get Mesos xD
The early game is super slow. No way around it. Try making link skills. They're basically buffs you can get from having other characters on your account. I would start making all of these classes to level 70, then 100, then 120, then 140. Once you have them all, your main will be much stronger.
Training: Lara, Illium, DA, Kanna, Ark, Kinesis, Phantom, Hoyoung, Merc, Evan, Aran ---- Bossing: Resistance, DS, BT, Mage, Thief, Lumi, Cadena, AB

good video BUT, you forgot to add up the time around 30mins+ you take DAILY so 225*7 until the mule is done ( you only added the dailies ONCE not 7 times a week ), and the weekly event to get arcane force which is time not training + the 30minutes at LEAST you use every week to do all the bosses, so its more than 14b total indeed.
