- GI Joe Classified Cobra HISS review. This is a Hasbro Haslab item and will not be sold through Hasbro ever again. I will be unboxing it and putting it together so you can see what is all involved in it. Also I will be comparing it to the 1980’s version.

The five point harness can be secured Real easy if you push the driver's back and hips aginst the seat, the way the instructions show. Pushing the driver's butt all the way down onto the seat will allow you to adjust the straps that go over the shoulders without any problem too. If you are having difficulty doing either, adjust the legs until you can seat the figure properly.
haven't finished the view yet, but i had the same issue with my guns for the top of the HISS. The issue is that one of the guns is upside-down. you need to spin it around to correct its orientation. Then the bullet drums will sit right.
Basically, look at each gun, and make sure the silver painted wire on the gun is on the bottom; not the top.

Been waiting for your review. Mine has the same gull wing issue. Didn't like the gummy mini-guns at first. But they don't droop or snap when moving them. And thanks for the tip on the canopy swap!
The interior is easily the best modern upgrade of this HISS. An alternate tinted canopy or a fully armored canopy with a view slit for the driver would have been aces.
It’s great for photography
I like the red canopy over the clear, but I do think that the clear will show off the figure inside the cockpit better.
All reviews have missed this and it's not in the instructions. Between the canopy and the turrets, that's an engine cover. Comes right off with some nice detailing.
Yeah that was pointed out to me in another comment and I went and looked, I really wish I would have seen this. I also missed that the missiles telescope out away from the tank.
Oh first rate review as always. Eye passed on the HISS but will be getting the Dragonfly.
Your packing was a little different than mine. 😂 I didn’t have the cardboard in the plastic of my hiss main body. 😂
For a second I thought there was a problem with my gullwing canopy, but it was a skill issue.

Good video. I feel this can still be a bare bones, 1 figure, mass release at under $200 bucks. Just a driver and no extra weapons. I'm glad I got one, l love all the stuff it came with. I could use another lol.

I think this tank has allot more in common with the Hiss from 2005? then the original one. What with the chin guns, side missiles and the area in the back for extra figs.
Damn that's a big bastard. I didn't bother with the HISS tank mainly due to the size of the thing. I live in an apartment, dammit, where am I supposed to display these things? Rant over; I pre-ordered the Cobra Rattler, missed getting it as a kid, didn't want that to happen a second time. I have 2 worries in its regard: 1 the weakness of that original toy was the landing gear, they were notoriously easy to break. 2: I hope the thing isn't too colossal, otherwise it'll stay in the box.
Back to the HISS tank, I like a lot of what I'm seeing about it, other than the size. I adore that it has actual working treads. As a kid I always imagined guns on the underside in the front, so I like that they put those there. It has actual anti-aircraft capabilities with the side rickets & gatling turrets. I personally would've put the emplacements for the gatling turrets more near the back for the soldiers in the rear of the thing, to properly spray at the enemy, or alternatively provide anti-aircraft support fire, but that's a nitpick. I also would've left the front sides alone so I could put my own personal numbers for the thing there. That's another nitpick though.

I dig it a lot. HISS driver was a wee tricky to harness in, but no biggie. Just don't pull up on the bottom part of restraint, as it's epoxied in at bottom. Nice review! It's a sick piece! I'm not sure where to add possible decals, so i haven't used any.
Jesus epoxied in?!?! Christ you would think for the price they would lock that in a lot better 🙄🙄
@user-yp4lh5nv9z There's a video of a guy who pulled up too much on the bottom restraint, and it came out of the little spot it was in. It'd be an easy fix, but yea. Just be careful with restraints, and shouldn't be an issue.

Rotate the mini guns on their moint to orient them mirror imaged. Will fix your canister issue.

Luckily, I did not get the canopy issue, but it scares me opening it.

You mentioned that the hiss tank wasn't that heavy? I'm thinking to myself? perhaps not to yourself being built like the incredible hulk!!! But to us skinny guys like myself it's kinda hefty!!! 😂
Haha I wish I were still “big”, but thank you. I’m pretty sure the box is heavier than the tank and the 3D printed ones I know seem heavier.

The Gatling gun canisters only go on one way!!! each one is slotted differently for each Gatling gun!!! Patience putting this together along with even more Patience is required for this particular project!!! Indeed...
