I love Keeping Up appearances, it’s an amazing program. I’m from North Wales U.K. and we don’t have stores like Joann so I love seeing the inside of your stores, thanks 🙏🏻
Hi, you may have found out by now but the excessive extra amount of the last colour, in your case grey/charcoal, is because a lot of people complained that they had to go out and buy a matching extra skein of yarn to be able to join all of their squares at the end to make into a project, blanket/cardigan etc, but also many complained that there wasn't enough for the last round of the original granny square yarn so I think they were covering both complaints with all the extra they give you, so that is why you had so much extra at the end! I actually watched someone else make one of these squares and they must have really loose tension as they actually used up all of that extra yarn just to finish their square, so that was also bizarre to me!? One thing I have been recommending to many that I've watched is when you are doing the fourth round if you work into the back loop and even also the third loop if you want, you will get a much neater and cleaner finish to the top of your petals instead of it looking all jagged and hairy across the top, so that's something I highly recommend doing! Still do the same stitches but just work into the back of them instead and I think you'll really like how it looks compared to the pattern method! :)
My Joann looked exactly like that today! In yours though, we can see people have resorted to tearing holes in the boxes to see what treasures are inside. 😂

@boxerdogsmom I'm so glad someone else knows it! We always got a good laugh from it 😊

@@Bb-tr8it I didn't make holes, but I definitely took advantage of them and peeked inside 🤣
