Hogwarts Legacy on PS5 in Performance settings
For some reason, whenever I switch the settings to Fidelity and Fidelity with Ray Tracing, it looks really bad. The highest setting I can choose is Performance. I may need to look into what settings I need to tweak on PS5 and monitor to make ray tracing work.
But, hopefully this video still makes the game look nice enough!
ALSO, this is a reupload. I had to re-record the whole thing using my Elgato to get better quality videos. The first video I recorded and uploaded was recorded straight through the PS5 recording feature, which is not great. Also, I had to lower the brightness of my game settings to now blow out any light. I always play on higher brightness coz I have poor vision lol

I feel like the Slytherin common room fits very well with the general Slytherin descriptions as we've gotten them in books and movies and other places and kind of expresses them well too? I don't know if that makes sense... to me, it looks warm, but feels cold. It looks welcoming, but feels mysterious. The big windows promise light, but instead you get water. It oozes charisma, mystery, it calls you in with teasing secrets and something different, exotic, dangerous even. Probably kind of like having a pet snake.

It's exactly the type of a video I've been looking for, but seeing it now, I understand, that I still want to play for the remaining houses myself, to walk around here and "touch" everything, somehow just watching it doesn't do it for me. It's a shame the game has so much unskippable cutscenes of all sorts, makes it a tedious replay, can't imagine the patience of the speedrunners with this title. But it's still worth it though, because the interiors here are just unbelievably gorgeous.
