    I help my parents do 19th century broommaking/re-enacting and these videos are super helpful for trying to do different hairstyles from that century! I would love to see more 19th century hair tutorials from you.

    Gibson girl of the 1890s. Hair rats work well for that or lots of teasing or use poly fill to fill the hair to make it extra fluffy!

    could you do a tutorial on the loose bun from the 1890's?? I always wanted to learn how to make one but if you can't then thats fine :) just wanted to ask x

    I love all of your videos, especially the ones recreating historical hairstyles. Since you often reference primary resources, I thought you might have the answer to something I've been wondering. How did women of the early 19th century get all those tight curls in their hair? For example, the hairstyles popular during the British Regency and France's First Empire.

    The 1940's would see the return of the Snoods of the 1850's/1860's thanks to the release of Gone With the Wind in 1939.

    I really like the Greek influence some of my favorite fashion is the Napoleonic era which is very similar to Regency just a little bit more Greek inspired a little bit flashier. When we get into like American Civil War time and out of the 19th-century I think the clothes and the hare absolutely hideous I've never been a fan of the braids sweeping underneath the ears and into the bun.

      that would be long down the middle, with the sides shaved off and colored all shades of the rainbow. we see that on the street everyday.

    They are not called top knot yes Top knots where historical but they started in Asia and men wore them On Women they are call buns.
