I have pictures of my grandma (dad's side) wearing a similar style. It's amazing how fashion and styles change throughout the years, isn't it? I love these series! :-)
Hey loepsie! This series of videos is very nice an interesting! You are by far my favorite youtuber and I love your different content. I appreciate your effort on making all this different hairstyles on yourself, specially cause some of them are so hard! If you ever do a series on fashion, or maybe jewelry towards history, I'd like to see more images tho! Just so that I can have a clearer picture on my mind of what you're talking about. :)
I love this series! It's going to be so sad when it's over but I'm excited for the next one. By the way, I've been meaning to ask what the curling iron it is that you use?
I'm kind of confused, you often say century when I think you mean decade! Anyways, I love this series and especially this hairstyle! Love from Germany ._.
Fun anecdote: women (especially american women) wore red lips and nails as a "fuck you" to Hitler. I don't recall the specific reason, tho; like I think he hated overly painted women or smth

Love the style, like Claire from Outlander. Thanks for sharing I love your hair history videos ❤
I believe this hairstyle is called victory rolls. Going back to WWII again :-)
Victory rolls never have holes through them, and I think this is more like a 1940s inspired but I'm no expert and I believe Lucy
I love how much effort you put into researching & giving a tutorial on this series, it's amazing !
Great tutorial! Your hair looks so soft!
My favorite era!
I like how you simify everything. It's amazing how you perceive things. Please do a Virna Lisi, Loepsie.

LolasTBs I noticed that. I think English is her second language.
MsBuggywuggy yes, it is. I thought it might help her if she read it ;)

i wish she would have gone with wartime hair instead of celebrity style.
Wasn’t there a piece of rolled fabric (I believe called a Ratt) worn under the hair in front to give it a lift?
This is really pretty!
Veronica Lake developed a new trend, side parted, and half hiding part of the hair.
