I needed this video over the summer. Misdiagnosed initially by mechanic as speed sensor.... turns out reluctor was damaged so whole wheel bearing had to be replaced
Could this be the same problem with the Mazda the traction control light is on and the engine is running at a high rate of speed any stalls when you come to a complete stop with your foot on the brake
Thanks. The rotor looked pretty rusted out. Why not change the brakes and rotors while you had everything apart? Good opportunity for preventative maintenance.
I relate the same thing on my 2017 Honda accord but the light for abs & traction is still on .. any sign that I have to drive it for a while for it to go off
My civic had "a friend of a friend of my mom" work on one of the wheel to fix some noise, the next day i drove the car and noticed the ABS light now on and some disconnected wires by the wheel. Will probably fix eventually
I recently change all 4 wheel bearing for my rwd car. However, the rear sensors had to be replaced due to being seized to my wheel bearing. Everything works when put back. However, my car is triggering the Trac control and abs when my car is in reverse mode and the steering wheel is turned all the way to the left or right. Do you know what it might be? Bad sensor in the rear or the front wheel hub?

Nice to see a rust-belt car on the channel (dang salt)! I had this exactly failure with my 2015 Acadia a couple years ago, not fun!

Much easier than last time a couple years ago with the broken ratchet
my FF Ranger has been doing that for about 10 years... it grumbles every once in a while. I'm a bad owner.
