Eating fresh shrimp from Richmond fisherman’s wharf

Today i am visiting Steveston, Bc which is a town in Richmond Canada
that has a fisherman wharf.
At steveston they have lots of restaurants, cafes and a wide selection of seafood. The boats are docked at this wharf and you can purchase fresh seafood. They have different kinds of fish, shrimps, prawns and more. Normally they have a wide selection of seafood but right now is still April so they dont have too much things. They also have sashimi grade seafood here as well.
The seafood is very fresh and delicious here. It taste a lot different buying it fresh from the boats compared to buying it fresh or frozen at the store.
We bought around 10 pounds of shrimp for 80$ and the lady was telling me to come back for spot prawn season which starts in may 18. You can pre order with her and just pick up. During spot prawn season in BC its very busy and many people will come to the pier to buy spot prawns. There is a huge line up and it tastes really good.
