I really enjoyed this song, its so annointed!!! I had to listen to it 5 times! I am so blessed when l hear The Hinsons sing!!! This kind of singing is what we need more of. I was raised in a Pentecostal church/family and it leaves you with a hunger that only the annointing can fill!!! I thank God for The Hinsons and their devotion and obedience to God. ❤
My dad is 89 years old and is an old time pentecostal preacher who was annointed as he preached. As he was led he preached about hell and redemption and the power of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Not only will we not see any more groups like this there aren't that many annointed preachers where its impossible to sleep through because of His presence. Not just profession but a posession of healings, and deliverence. May repentence and seeking His face come back into vogue.
My Grandfather was an old-fashioned Mennonite Preacher who preached three sermons on Sunday! You might call him A Circuit Riding Preacher who drove his Horse and Buggy to three different townships every Sunday! He died in his fifties But I thank God that he left me a Godly Heritage! My Father would always pray Thank-You God for Your Word! I didn’t really understand what that meant but I do now! Thank-You for your comments and may God richly Bless You!
Kenny sure mastered the guitar. I understand he practiced all the time. Kenny and the whole Hinson Family is so special and they are so devoted to our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus is leading the way...the Hinsons are leading the way in being the number one Southern Gospel group with the most talented singers -on this side of glory !!!
What a great singing group! I love The Hinsons. I sure miss Kenny. His life on earth was so short. One day, I look forward to seeing all the Hinsons. God Bless You, Gwen
As children we taped this song onto a portable tape player from the radio. The sound was weak and the tape ran out about halfway through the last note. We played that tape to death. I can remember the warble that developed in the tape near the end of the song after a few years. Good stuff, thanks for posting this vid.
+Dirkworks I agree with you. The Hinsons were a perfect Southern gospel group with Larry. They were more country gospel with Bo and Eric, but that's o.k. Because Bo and Eric both have had great hits. Southern Gospel was a much bigger genre back then than country gospel. They would not have been able to break into Southern gospel without Larry's voice. They became big in Southern and then we're able to bring their country into it. They were born in California but their Mom and Dad were from Arkansas and Tennessee and that is how the country got into their genes.
Dirk you are absolutely right, brother. I guess Jason Crabb with a live band is the closest thing we've got today, but he's solo and has started getting more and more contemporary. The young people today do not know what they are missing.
@DIRKWORKS Amen brother. It's a lost art. Mike W. Smith & Steven Curtis Chapman are great talents, but I also miss the Southern Gospel & Old Convention Songs. Long live Southern Gospel !!
The Hinsonis the Best of all the Gather thank they the Best But come onthe other are in the church ofgod with Tim hill crabb and the Bowling I’ve Parker is great also But in my my no one can come close to the Kenny Hinson and the wonderful Hinson sand all church ofgod ones
Thank you for posting this....I grew up listening to southern gospel music...I remember we would listen to the Gospel Jubilee on our black and white tv on Sunday morning before we went to Sunday School.....how I treasure those times and still do!!....All for the glory of God!!..Amen!!
