He is singing country! And gospel combined! I here great country and gospel every time The Hinsons perform. They’re just wonderful - old and new 👏🏻💫🎤🥰‼️
I’m glad that he had no interest in cheap worldly acclaim, which promises much but contains little of eternal value. Too many are lured by phone glitz and glamour which soon proves futile and empty.
THANK GOD ALMIGHTY HE DIDNT DECIDE TO WASTE HIS TALENTS THAT WAY AND BY THE WAY KENNY RONNIE AND THE YOUNGEST ONE THAT I GORGET HIS NAME NOW WERE PENTECOSTAL PREACHERS AND AFTER KENNY DIED RONNIE CONTINUED SINGING AND THE OTHER ONE WENT BACK TO PASTORING A CHURCH

This brings back some old memories of my childhood. I use to watch this group every Sunday morning before church. This is where I got my love for gospel music and the love for this group. One of the greatest blessings in my life was when I got do a service with Ronny and we had a time in the Lord Ronny is a great man of God sence then I have been on stage with him many times. I never got to meet the rest of the Hinsons but I did get to meet Chris Hawkins Freeman, a wonderfull woman of God.
What a powerful anointed message in song from the legendary Southern gospel group, "The Hinsons". The late Kenny Hinson trusted his Savior and Master to calm the troubled waters of his soul..his spirit soared up from the troubled waters and into the bright light of his blessed Redeemer !
The Hinson Family - I have no words to describe them. I sit and listen to them and tears flow down my face as I enjoy he presence of God in their music. God wrote the Hinson family on my heart when I got saved in 1981.
Hello there I'd am James broughton and I'd live in Fremont north Carolina and I'd am so much in love with this old gospel music the singer doesn't sing the music likes they did years ago and I'd am not where I'd need to be with our God I'd have back slide this music makes me cry

Those precious sons were truly talented. Their parents were too. Such blessings. They all gave their talents to the Lord. Rest in Peace beautiful souls. You were such a blessing to me.
In some ranks that may be true but those who see THE DAY APPROACHING hold a different view. I'm old and I love seeing and hearing marvelous gospel videos by groups like the incredible Hinsons. As the song says, it's a comfort to my soul.
I was born in the village of Minto, My dad used to listen to the hinsons all the time. One of my earliest memories is from waking up, going to the wood-stove to warm-ip and hearing this song on KJNP.
fantastic in the shaping and combination of forms - grotesque. Yes it is Ross. I pray for all lost and unhappy people. To find joy in oneself and not others is sad. Find God. Lose your unhappiness and find joy!
Hello there to everyone who is listening to the music I'd love this music please pray for me I'd am not where I'd need to be with our God you see that I'd have been back slide I'd live in Fremont north Carolina
@jamesbroughton9141 Look to Jesus and think about your eternity. The devil is a liar, full of deception. I too had been away from Jesus and so glad I lived and came back to Him. James, I pray for you. In Jesus name, I pray for James that he will be touched to know where he needs to be, back in the fold, safe with Jesus. I pray for in Jesus Name . Amen . Christian love to you. He loves you too. Don't wait.
Ohhhh....I could listen to the magnificent vocal talent found only in that of Chris Hawkins Freeman, she was so blessed with the gift to sing like no other !!!
Great annointing singing,i heard them tonight for the first time and i enjoyed their singing emencely. Thanks to the person who post them .Kenny who has died is not yet with the Lord but is asleep in the dust of the earth until the second coming of Jesus when the dead in Christ shall rise first and we that remain will b caught up to meet Him in the air and so shall we ever b with the Lord.1Thessalonians 4:16,17Daniel 12:2,Isaiah 26:19.In 1Phil.1:23 the Apostle call death depart,1of d2 he ws betw
Thanks for posting this good old Gospel song. I love Southern Gospel Music. I will check out some of your other videos. May God always Bless U. I give U 5*****.
Gospel singing is indeed alive and well, sadly not so in the Quartet format as much as in the past, however: Bill Gaither and company has single handedly put Gospel singing and the legends past back into popularity through his concerts and millions of video/CD sales !!!
Jaybird, I never heard it put quite like that but i like your analogy, it means even more when you think about it Kenny and Elvis were both 42 when they passed away! Both were gone far too soon, that's for sure!
Not sure how old they were, but this is from the Gospel Singing Jubilee show that was produced and hosted by Les Beasly of The Florida Boys. It was on the air in the 70's . Just guessing but I would say this was taped in the early 70's.
Why don't you believe anymore? Look at what Jesus went through to provide salvation for us. Satan will do whatever he can to destroy us. If you are not living for the Lord anymore, then you are now living for the evil one. Jesus will take you back if you want to come back. His Word says that He is married to the backslider.
Thank you very much Jean for your kind words. I do my best to try and believe I want to be back to point of beliefe I once had. I've never left the church ( well then again we are the church so as I have not a full "in faith" i suppose) in a way I have for though we do not go out & commet sin we must believe. Therefore I've failed. You ask why I do not or have lost so much beliefe; it seems each time I come to a point it seems to start building it gets kicked; just one more young & true christain loved one is taken while I watch one I know for sure ( know without doubt for have saw their works & know they have no God within them & hurt all in awful ways) yet they walk awy free from all and live off the lifes of those they hurt = I say they are a leach - a blood sucker whom must live off others and those whom allow it are no better; these whom allow it have been raised better; this too you know as fact for you know the parents & watched them grow; still you see the true taken the ones whom are doing right and walking upright in all the ways of the Lord; the funeral home crowed with all who say how good they were & not one bad word do you hear.. Yes, I know it rains on the just and the unjust alike.; but I also believe His word is for the living not the dead for once the soul leaves the body you are done.
Keep holding on, Janet. Unfortunately keeping our eyes on other human beings brings discouragement. Even we fail our own selves many times. Keep your eyes on Jesus, try your best to focus on what he's done and continues to do for you. Study his word, even a small bible passage a day will bring you much comfort.
Kenny had the hollywood looks, he had the Nashville vocal talent, he had the opportunity to sing and write songs for the secular music industry...he chose to follow his Lord and Savior all the way to Glory and leave an eternal legacy that will endure everlasting to everlasting!
Ronnie is living in Nashville and in ministry with his wife. Larry is pastoring in Hendersonville. Kenny passed away back in 93 and Yovanne is a homemaker
George Ronald Anderson Jr. Indeed . I started listening to them when i was 11 or 12 years old. My mom gave me the live album" HInsons on the Road." It had a Grand piano in the middle of the highway on the cover. I learned every word sang and spoken on that album. Lol. Kenny is Truly missed for sure. What a great country style voice he had . I always said he was before his time if that makes any since. God Bless ya!!
This was when gospel music was the gospel in song , miss it so much!
Me too I miss the gospel in song
If only the lost of this world would realize God is the answer to their loneliness and pain.
The Hinsons are from an era when gospel music was sung for a purpose and not just for the money like most of the groups do today.
Amen, so true
Yeah they were sincere.
Amen!
Amen to that statement
Wait a minute...how do you know that they weren't motivated by money back then and groups today are? Sounds judgmental , how many of these people do you know personally that it would make you qualified to make a such a statement?!

My dad would have the jubilee on before we went to church on Sunday morning back in the 70's. This group is wonderful.
I watched it every Sunday morning in the early 70's as well. The Hinsons were my favorite group and I always wanted a voice like Kenny's.
If Kenny had decided to sing country music, his statue would be on display today at the Country Music Hall of Fame. Im glad he sang gospel though.
He is singing country! And gospel combined! I here great country and gospel every time The Hinsons perform. They’re just wonderful - old and new 👏🏻💫🎤🥰‼️
By the Grace of God He did the RIGHT THING and his songs have witnessed to millions!
I’m glad that he had no interest in cheap worldly acclaim, which promises much but contains little of eternal value. Too many are lured by phone glitz and glamour which soon proves futile and empty.

Kenny was offered the opportunity to sing country music on several occasions. He turned it down every time. Good for him.
