    Dyno Pull + Graph at 7:56 I know the chains loose
    The Initial Wastegate spring was only 5 pounds not 8 like stated in video. Found it to be 5 pounds after pulling it to turn up the boost.
    The Final boost pressure for the 82hp run was 7lbs on pump fuel

      You should add a softer spring and use a boost tee regulator to adjust the boost to the psi you want to charge. That made preassure mutch more stable. When i only had the spring the wastegate was acting Wird.

    That's dangerously powerful. Amazing job👏. By the looks of it, you also gonna need to put a bigger fuel tank on the bike and of course some protectors for that turbo and all those tubes before letting someone to ride it to it's full potential on a track and etc.

    It would be great to install a turbo on a 2t 500. The turbo is already installed on 2t snowmobiles, but it is complicated. The power gain is only 20%. Now we're getting a 4t. The weight-to-weight ratio is more powerful than the 2t. And that's unfortunate for the 2t fan.

      Working on a rotary exhaust valve to keep the boost in the engine. That's the biggest concern and why little benefit is had with current setups.

But even i have boost i cant say that it feels like i have insane amount off power. The bike is fast. But i was hoping on having a deathtrap. did you just correct fueling based on tps and not on map sensor?! Don't know how this should work when riding normal..

    • @Realboostedbikes
      @Realboostedbikes  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It was tuned based on the air fuel ratio out of the tail pipe. Map sensor is eliminated altogether because it was causing issue under boost (it's only made to see vaccumm).

    • @oom_701
      @oom_701 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Realboostedbikes PCV is just connected to the tps so fueling is based on that. What about cruising with different loads on the engine? afr will be different every time. Isn't there a better solution like replacing the map sensor with one that can handle boost and tune via that like cars?

    • @Realboostedbikes
      @Realboostedbikes  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @oom4539 it's not as much of an issue as you qould think because you tune for different throttle positions as well. It may be a hair rich in lower gears but I'm running thus style setup on a few bikes with no issues. Just have to be on point with the tuning.

    Do you have any tips on timing retard? Now i take of 8 degree on 12 psi. Maybee This is a bit exaggerated.
    I run stock comp 12.7:1 run european 98octane same as 93 ron. But i think i loose hp by having that mutch. The bike start building boost at 3450rmp. i run stock gas regulator. The bike is fast But not scary fast.
    I had to give it 80% more petrol on 12 psi to Get the afr target to 11.5 i have a slightly bigger injector. Do you think i need 80% because i dont have fuel pressure regulator?

    • @Realboostedbikes
      @Realboostedbikes  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      8 degrees is way too much you're gonna cook your exhaust valve with that. I'm running stock timing on the gasgas they are conservative out of the box. You don't want to retard timing more than 3 degrees even if you're running 20lbs of boost. The more you retard timing the more heat you're sending out of the exhaust from fuel not properly being burned. You're gonna loose a ton of power too. You're better off running 8psi of boost at stock timing than 12lbs with the ignition retarded 8 degrees. It will actually live longer and make more power

    • @Realboostedbikes
      @Realboostedbikes  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm not running a rising rate fuel pressure regulator. I did upgrade to a 4 bar fuel pressure regulator which I tweaked to run around 4.2 bar. Upping the fuel pressure will allow you to use less Injector. 80% duty cycle is kinda pushing it imo you're at the limit
