Very cool history of your builds of an classic car. All 4 are awesome in their own way! Love the wired remote vehicles you have, and that you maintain them so well. 👍😃
I love the revisit series, and this was another great installment. The Lindberg hopper demonstration was cool, and it was a real shame the gear broke in the middle, but it was great you had another gear and could give an explanation of the mechanism. Great slide show. See ya next time!
Thanks Kurt, I love my 64 Chevrolets. Any type of motorized kits adds additional headaches and complexities. Glad you like the Lindberg "hopper". Unfortunately it's only front and back and not side to side so no dancing 💃 Impala.
The fun factor is great, even with the rebuild , the other 64s came out real nice, the dark blue one looks like an old street car that you found back in the old days, thanks for showing us!
Thanks Jay, the dark blue is hand brushed and built over 40 years ago when I was an early teen. I've thought about rebuilding but many suggested I leave as a survivor to remind me of where I came from 🙂
hi David... awesome collection of chevy's... i had a 1/1 '61 impala... always broke the driveshaft center bearing... the jumping car is pretty cool... thx 4 sharing.. vinny
Thanks Greg, the hopping 64 is extremely fun to play with. Being the mature modelers most of us are, I played with it for 2 minutes and immediately packed it away before anything else broke.😬
Whoa, I'd forgotten those hopping Lindberg kits ever existed, I haven't seen one in years! 😲 Back when they came out, I HAD to have one (I had 2, actually), lol 😂 Really cool builds, David, all of them 😁 I hope you're well and staying warm, brother 😊✌️
@davidchin350 I do not, my friend. I'm assuming that they were lost in the house fire we had in 2011 because i haven't seen them since 🤔 They were both 1964's 🙂
Awesome David 👍👍🤙🏻✌🏻, I had one of those Lindberg 64 hoppin Impalas too, actually I still have it here somewhere, I was going to just use the body of it and rob a chassis and stuff out of another kit bc that Lindberg body was pretty decent, hmmm, I’ll have to look for that, it’s in a box here, I do know that. I’m pretty sure that one of mine is molded in orange, I just left it that way .
Very cool. Love the red and light blue. I remember that lowrider one, and the gear was an issue back then..lol.looks nice to see it still works. That dark blue one is pretty cool as a restoration project build.
Awesome kits, David 👍😊 I am a big fan of these old Impalas, so hopefully, at some point, I will manage to find the 1/43 scale version of them👍😊 This car looks cool in all colors 👍😊
Doesn't surprise me Chris because I use it as "PONTIAC engine blue" as well😉 Glad you like my Impalas. Full size Chevrolets to me is what Pontiacs are to you, love them.👍
Great video David! I can sure see why the '64 Impala would be your car of choice! You did some awesome work on your Impala builds! Thanks for revisiting some more earlier builds! By the way, I have taken notice when you build your car and even truck builds that you tape off the inside of the body or cabs over the window openings to prevent primer and paint from overspray and as of recent I am starting to do that before the exterior paint is and it is a great method! You have definitely been of influence Sir! 😊
Happy new year my other brother!!!!!!! They each are very cool builds David……. Sorry I’ve been away….. I hope you are going to Mosquito Con & the NNL East…….. we need to get together!!!!!!!!

Incredible kits. 64 is that iconic year for Impala! 🔥💯🙌🏾

Thanks Mike, the hoppin 64 is fun to play with.😁
I never knew there were so many gears in those hoppin impalas. I’ll have to find one and build it up. Thx David!
Thanks William, I opened the gearbox only out of necessity. These are fun to play with although there is not much to assemble.
Nice collection, the Lindberg looks like fun. Nice motor and gear fix. Thanks for sharing, these bring back a lot of memories.
