Waylon has love written all over his face whenever he looks at his sweet Jessi. She stood by him thru some rough stuff but he made it worth it. When he overcame the addiction, he tried so hard to make it up to her. In my opinion , this is greatest country couple and love song of all time.❤❤

.I call it Wailing Jennings and Jeesse Colder. They should have left it to singers like Miranda Lambert. If you haven't heard her cover, then listen to it, and if you dont agree her Cover is a lot better than the original version, then all I can say is, you have no taste in music from a lady who did a Great Cover version of this song. Even Dr Hook didn't do it very well.

This is Real Country Music that I miss from when I was a little boy in the 70’s around the time of Rhinestone Cowboy by the late great Glen Campbell.
So sad to hear and see such great singers and to know that this couple had a storm to pass. This concert is the best. I' m discovering such wonderful music ever since I retired. My God 30 years working as a teacher and never had time to sit and enjoy my favorite country music. So many that have gone... But we still have our Willy Nelson and many others. Blessings to all our Country SINGER.

When my son passed from a sudden heart attack, we buried his ashes in the ocean. I played ,How Great Thy Art, while his ashes and lilies floated out to sea. My son was born in 1963 and he was a great Elvis fan. I hope he would have been pleased with his service.

I remember hearing this song for the first time in a little cafe in deming washington. I think the year was 1971 or 1972. I immediately fell in love with the song and the duet by Waylon and Jesse. They had a beautiful harmony together and great background music. Love the guitar picking and steel guitar.
