Not only the job you've done is so professional, but also filming it looks amazing ! You've paid great attention to detail as well. You're such a pro. Thanks for uploading. Greetings from Romania.
Outstanding video. Thank you for being transparent and showing where a few mishaps had happened and how you back tracked to resolve them. It says a lot about your integrity. Well Done!
This rebuild has been spot on to watch and learn, just happens to be the exact engine I have so unbelievably helpful, only problem is you make me want to strip my engine right to the cast like this one and make it like new when in all fairness I don’t think I need to😂
Adam. Incredible Work. I took some time off for awhile from Building/ restoring/ Bikes for about 8 yrs. I have 3 Sons who ride and after seeing you and Cameron’s Videos, I am Cerakoting everything in the House. Subscribed !!!!
Thanks man! I’m excited to see as well, I am surprised they done come coated from the factory given how rusted that one was. I think it will hold up great!
The engine looks amazing good job👍 .I think it would have matched a little better if you had saracoted the whole bottom end the same as the clutch case.
Great video but that is now how the flywheel works I think you may need to study up on why a flywheel is used in any engine Coming from a master mechanic
hi adam, i know this is an old video but was wondering if there was any dowel pins installed on the waterpump cover? I am not talking about item 17 on your diagram. I have a cr 125 1996 and on my diagram it does not show any dowel pins apart from the same item 17 although two holes look slightly bigger for dowel pins.
Question: The link to the Cerakote colors is for the air-cured versions of the coatings. I noticed that you oven-cured these parts, is that a mistake or did you do it for faster cure times? Also, what is the name of the Red you used? Thank you
Ive been using wiseco pistons (and I was told once you use them you cant use another) so will I have to waste the vertex piston that comes with the kit and get a seperate one?(on the full engine rebuild kit)
Hey dude, i'm currently rebuilding my 07 cr125. Ur build honestly helps me out so much man, you're great. Did you reuse all the bolts/screws/hardware or did your source brand new ones if so where can I get a full kit? Also, may I ask where you got the detailed diagrams? Thanks man :)
Can i ask what carburetor you will be using? Standard mikuni or upgrade to a keihin? I have a 03 cr 125 with the keihin, just bought the bike and the jetting is off. Would like to know your input on jetting
just be glad on your engine there wasnt any striped bolts i was helping my friend restore his bike and atleat 1/2 of the bolts were striped and i had to drill through them
I don't get it. Most people your age can't afford to go to dinner, yet you, Cameron Niemela and his brother Devin seen to have unlimited resources, tens of thousands of $ in new tools and hundreds of thousands of $ in property and facilities. How do you guys do it?
I use plastic razor blades you can use metal. The reason I dont is because if you slip you risk damaging your sealing surface because the steel cuts into the alluminum

Your videos are the reason why I was confident enough to rebuild my CR125R.. so thank you bro.
Outstanding video. Thank you for being transparent and showing where a few mishaps had happened and how you back tracked to resolve them. It says a lot about your integrity. Well Done!
My fovorite part of dirt bikes is the engine and the gas tank and the throttle
Dude, that's an amazing video, well filmed, informative, and articulately explained.
This rebuild has been spot on to watch and learn, just happens to be the exact engine I have so unbelievably helpful, only problem is you make me want to strip my engine right to the cast like this one and make it like new when in all fairness I don’t think I need to😂
Keep up the great content. These videos are way better in detail in dirt and iron.
Wow dude u do a insane job please keep up the amazing work!

That was very important tip talking about the oil seal and water seal.
Thanks man glad you noticed!
Parabéns pelo trabalho !! Ficou lindo.
Looking sick!
Thanks man!
Great work and attention to detail. Curious to see how the cerakote on the power valve arm holds up.
Thanks man! I’m excited to see as well, I am surprised they done come coated from the factory given how rusted that one was. I think it will hold up great!
Looks really good bro, keep it up.
Love the support man! Glad you enjoyed it
Top notch work!

Good Job . Greetings from Germany 😊
Appreciate that! How’s the weather?

With the seal on the water pump is it the same as 06
you are crazy broo!!!
The engine looks amazing good job👍 .I think it would have matched a little better if you had saracoted the whole bottom end the same as the clutch case.
You can use clutch plates from another bike?
Looks Sick!
whats is a 14 and 15 wather poump seals size?
Great video but that is now how the flywheel works I think you may need to study up on why a flywheel is used in any engine
Coming from a master mechanic
On the left side cover. Is that paint? Looks good. The whole motor looks good. Whats next for you. I have a 1986 CR250r. that I am restoring.
It’s cerakote, more of a ceramic coating then a general paint
what kind of drill do you use is it an impact driver ? can you send a link of the exact model you use as I would like to purchase one also.
can you use pray paint cans for doing the clutch cover
Which black cerakote is it?
Very nice!
Thank you!
What is that lighter color you used on the case? That came out clean!
Why do you use aceton?
Is that not to agressief?

Pretty smart putting a yz250 clutch in it,how is it working for you?
what kind of masking tape is that? seems super sticky and easy to cut
Jim Bob it’s heatproof tape for powdercoating or cerakoting
Wow subscribed!
Whats it cost to rebuild a cr125 engine? Roughly. Thanks
Can a 03 cr250 engine fit in a 02 frame Nd what year pipe shud use
Are you getting some ideas from cameron niemela ?
What color did you use other than graphite black
They should be linked in description
Ive been using wiseco pistons (and I was told once you use them you cant use another) so will I have to waste the vertex piston that comes with the kit and get a seperate one?(on the full engine rebuild kit)
A mechanic I know that taught me to do top end rebuilds and has been doing it for a long time
Oh ok thanks mate
Can you cera coat cylinders and head cause I have a kxf 250 I'm rebuilding and think it would finnish the bike of to have a black engine
Good question! I Don’t see an issue with it though I have never done it before!
@@adampaganelli4891 yea after I commented I seen a kX 125 engine that had been done in that dusty bronze color

Inspiring
have you done a set of cases in cerakote yet?
Yes made a video on it!
@@adampaganelli4891 I cant find it. I see where you did the side covers and those look great by the way.
Can i ask what carburetor you will be using? Standard mikuni or upgrade to a keihin? I have a 03 cr 125 with the keihin, just bought the bike and the jetting is off. Would like to know your input on jetting
I’m using a lectron so won’t be doing as much jetting. But definitely will have some jetting videos coming up, just not for this bike!
just be glad on your engine there wasnt any striped bolts

Hey can you update your cerakote links, Those colors are excellent and I am interested in ordering them.
Just updated the links, thanks!
Ya sir i am in nepal i say u ho to setting vr 150 bick engian
If I put regular gas in a 2 stroke 91 yz 250 what do i do?
dont ride it or it will sieze
Get ready to push it home after 2 minutes 😆
or have you tried a different brand coating like KG or Brownell's?
I have not, but I do know people who have
Mesin nopo mas
Someone likes Cameron Niemela haha
Just what I was thinking. I’ll give him credit tho it looks great
First time I ever powder coated I put a BBR Swing arm in the Kitchen oven and ruined Thanksgiving dinner.
Lol
No mention - of why: It had - any bottom end? B'= two of! ot= gay in kaldee.
Now remember - any YZ= emblem of - tool!
Did an engine rebuild and it blew up😂😂
Just go buy some razor blades lmao no point in spending $15 on “gasket scrapers” I thought u were joking 😂
I don't get it. Most people your age can't afford to go to dinner, yet you, Cameron Niemela and his brother Devin seen to have unlimited resources, tens of thousands of $ in new tools and hundreds of thousands of $ in property and facilities. How do you guys do it?
Should have coated the whole engine man
Can u just use a new razor for removing gaskets
I use plastic razor blades you can use metal. The reason I dont is because if you slip you risk damaging your sealing surface because the steel cuts into the alluminum
Podan
sei un pazzo
Bro, put more effort than Honda did into the engine😂
Hey why did you use a clutch kit for a 2005 yz250, thanks
As an example of how to install the clutch since I did not have the CR125r plates with me
What size nozzle did you use for the spray gun 0.8???
Yes .8
