A fellow by the name of John Furrer Sr. had a large collection of WWI military vehicles in a stillborn museum located on I-10 at Picacho Peak in the 1970's. The state, finances, and his health, didn't cooperate, so he closed the doors on it after a few years. We visited it once and I thought it was great. The vehicles were excellent, but the architectural design of the section that was complete was just as engaging. It was derived from WWI trenches, and it felt authentic, but it was also very attractive. If you can find any photos of that place, I suggest that you consider thinking about using that design style for at least a portion of your future facility.
Sounds great! I'm into the model hobby and have built plenty of cars and planes over the years but it's only been fairly recently that I've gotten into tanks and other vehicles and am looking forward to seeing your new museum.
Do you sell some of those airplanes I’m interested on then please let me know if you do sell them I will like to put them back in the air and for youngsters that would like to enter aviation but don’t have the means if you could help me I’ll greatly appreciate it thanks please reply fm
That would be pretty cool to see.
I really need to get back there. Haven't been there since 1999 and miss Pima badly
