This is a classic Red track! They really dig in on this one. August 9, 1957. The correct title is "Tweedle Dee". I remember the song, which was stolen from Lavern Baker. It was a big radio hit in the 1950s. This track was shelved until about 1969. If they had issued it in 1957, it might have been a hit for Red. To reply to another comment, the drummer here is Art Taylor, not Philly Joe. Philly Joe and Prestige owner/producer, Bob Weinstock, didn't get on, and Philly Joe only appeared (for Prestige) on the Miles Davis Quintet sessions, the May 24, 1956 session led by Sonny Rollins and a session each led by Tadd Dameron and Elmo Hope. Art Taylor fits in fine with Red and Paul Chambers. Philly Joe did appear on very many Blue Note and Riverside sessions. Riverside's Orrin Keepnews said "I always got a lot of performance out of him.". Tadd Dameron and Philly Joe were very close, which explains why Joe is on Tadd's session (which also includes Trane).
Shit! How These Cats could sing/dance and swing a song, just GREAT music. By the way for Those of You that shouldn't know Red Garland, Paul Chambers and Philly Joe Jones were the rythm section for Miles Davis for many years in 50's. HISTORY!
This song existed before the dawn of time
It does not get better than this.

Impeccable despite being on the junk.
Red Garland (p), Paul Chambers (b), Art Taylor (d).
Rec. Van Gelder Studio, Hackensack, NJ, on August 9, 1957.
