Thank you so much for letting us tag along! This was my first long trip on a motorcycle. Tim and I traveled a total of 630.1 miles that weekend! You all are a fun, sweet couple! It was a great time getting my feet wet with the biking experience, and also literally a bit drenched driving through the rain!
Yeah, you two were not as fortunate as we were together when it comes to the rain part! That looked like a soaker! I would look into investing into a pair or waterproof riding shoes/boots. That’s what we did. Then at least those stay dry! But yes, I bet that was a great experience for you! Hopefully you weren’t telling Tim he needs a new seat at about the 50 miles in mark. 😆
It was awesome to ride with you and Tim! Definitely invest in waterproof riding boots! I was wearing leather steel toes before mine which made shifting really challenging. Both Dustin and I opted for HD brand waterproof boots which, I think, have held up very well over the years. Spendy but worth it!
@TWOWHEELD and @mrstwowheeld6481, it was really great meeting both of you and riding to Lincoln! Jennie and I have commented to each other a bunch of times about what a great couple you are! (10:57 - we would have watched your bikes for you if you did go 'in the tunnel' , but we would need our turn too! 🥰) LOL, anyways my favorite part of the trip to Lincoln was sharing the road with you guys!! Thx for meeting up!!
Thanks man! I really appreciate this comment. Means a lot to me! You two were fun to hang out with/ride with! I just always wish there was more time. Trying to stay out of the rain shortened our stops and I kind of forced us to go to avoid the rain. 😆 That would have been funny if we would have just took off running to the tunnel. You guys would have been so confused. 😆 Thank you both for accompanying us on the ride down!
Thanks for carrying my hairbrush and all my clothes. 😊 We didn’t get footage of my bike but my saddle bags had my vest, extra gloves, rain gear, snacks, and whatever little things I needed with me. I left my passenger rest and rack on in the event it was needed to carry anything but, in hindsight, could have left it at home.
