A group of us ran the roughly 30 mile Loowit Trail around Mount St. Helens in August of 2018, starting from Climber’s Bivouac Campground. Learn more about our trip here: jeffpelletier.com/running-the-loowit-trail-around-mount-st-helens
Aah man , i was enjoying that , not long enough to last through my break here at work , need to go back to the catalogue of jeff pelletier old vids 😂 ( with pleasure i might add ) ❤
At first it's nothing but dismal gray ash. Then the lichen comes back, then some small plants and bushes; then the trees come back. Then Mt St. Helens blows it's top again and the cycle renews.
