Thanks so much for you comment and for your great question. As far as the actual study of philosophy goes, I'm not particularly well versed. I have a limited knowledge of absurdism, and even most of that is from my days in theatre so, while I'm sure there's some carry over, I couldn't get into the details, and I couldn't begin to tell you who Camus is. But if you think my worldview is aligning with theirs I'll be sure to check them out. Genuinely, the inspiration from this video came from a sort of worldview I'm practicing in 2025 for my own personal work which is Make First. Fix Later. As I said in the video I have a somewhat perfectionist attitude towards artistic creation which has served me in the past, but recently I found limiting my creative output to the point of feeling frozen in decision paralysis. So, my solution was to approach my creative work from a more childish or "unserious" point of view. Which is to say, children don't think about what they create. They just do. They take action. They create without judgement. So I am too. I'm creating what sounds fun to me, without judging it. Which turned into videos with me playing video games I love, while talking into a microphone about my own experience in the hopes that it'll help someone else. This turned into bit of a longer answer than I expected, but I hoped that helped! Let me know if you have any other questions.
