Whos really saving more money and driving off the lot every time a newer model comes out 😤.
$120K a year salary and $1600 a month payments. Something is not right. How can you not know how much you put down on the vehicle? The other numbers pop right out of their mouths, but they all become forgetful how much they put down on a $100K purchase. Real Pickup owners don't purchased the vehicle on how fast it can go 0-60. The way financing works is $1600 a month. This guy didn't pay 100k for that truck if it makes it till the end and still works at the end of probably a 72-month loan. He would pay 135k at 5% if he has amazing credit at the end of a 6-year loan. Given how unreliable and trash materials these trucks are made of, it will not last 6 years. Look around ev's are not selling. You can probably get a used one next year from one of these guys for 45k.

EVs are like smart phones right now... Throw away after a couple years. And completely impractical for the masses and the infrastructure. The electric vehicles we have now are necessary, but the experience over all does not sound great. Charging is just not there yet, but we can't get there without this.

You’re clowning a nurse- someone who went to school- put the hard work and dedication into a reliable career. Why clown this person or anyone who works for something they want?? 1600 a month isn’t insane if you can afford it- especially if you’re able to snap 🫰🏼 work for additional income!

But you are right it’s their choice, just wild to me, that someone would spend their hard earned money on something that does nothing but loose value.

This is crazy people are paying cars for 72 months?? By the time you pay it off you'll need a new battery.
Two of them.
Does it matter?
6 years, youd have to do more than 20k miles a year to be out of warranty on the battery.
If you are buying a vehicle for the purpose of being a show off or imagine of status it’s relatively good value compared to other options.

Real Pickup owners don't purchased the vehicle on how fast it can go 0-60.
The Tesla people will never admit anything is wrong with the vehicle. It is a human nature to not want to admit you spent all of that money and there are issues. You want to justify your purchase.

Year 1 depreciation from now on will be in the range of 40-50k plus expenses, interest and so on.
How much does someone need to earn to fund that for a truck that is not very practical, has terrible build quality and complete lack of refinement?!

The way financing works is $1600 a month. This guy didn't pay 100k for that truck if it makes it till the end and still works at the end of probably a 72-month loan.
