When my husband and I were on vacation in Texas, I found a phone left in the handicap stall in a mall bathroom (I took my toddler to change her). We were trying to find the owner, and after about 15 minutes, the woman showed up on her husband's phone, calling it to try to locate it. She nearly cried, she was so happy to see that I was trying to find someone in charge to take the phone to. She just kept thanking me for about 5 minutes. I was glad that I could help her.
So the dude leaves his work laptop unattended with all his financial info, naughty pictures, and work related items unattended in a foreign country....got it...🙄
Story 1, was victim's fault. He knew he should be mindful of his belongings. Some establishments would say that they are not liable for any losses/damages.
i actually think 1st story is victims vault, but for a different reason, i think it's ok to make a mistake like leave your laptop unattended for a minute, well not ok, but completely understandable since we aren't perfect, but i had a problem when the guy with his laptop is literally at his window and he didn't do anything about it, like confront him or whatever, and i'm not just saying that because he should be "tough" and not be "scared", but, from a strategic standpoint, it's risky but also the right thing to do. If you think about it, this pathetic thief wants something more from the guy and his advantage was having his laptop and the victim not knowing where he's holding it ransom, but then he comes back to intimidate him?? So, the thief is less inclined to hurt or attack you if he wants something from you and he now brought the location of your stuff to you, and it's france so he's much more likely to be armed with just a knife and not a gun, just run out there and unless he's got his knife out, punch his lights out and call the police. But that's just how i see it, these guys rely on fear and intimidation for their scams to work, and ik people will say approaching a criminal who could be armed is alot harder in real life then me just typing it, but if you stand up to these kinds of people, they often don't know what to do because bullies almost always win through intimidation and not real confrontation.
And they’re not responsible for it either when it was his fault for leaving it unattended. Hated how he acted all high and mighty against the workers for his personal belongings. There are harmless burglars that break in just to steal things and if they get caught they flee without harming you. Then you have the ones that break in to steal things but if you catch them they will use violence to get away. But, there are also people who break in for the sole purpose of taking a life. Sad thing is, you never know which person you're gonna encounter if you have a burglar

@@ryder8938 Hey Jason, My fellow killer what's up ? Sorry it took me so long to get back to you but I was out killing some people. You know doing my daily routine of stalking and killing people lol.
I have a cell phone story which fortunately had a happy ending. I used to work as a high school teacher in a poor rural community. After finishing teaching for the day I was packing up and noticed that my phone was not in my pocket. I figured I must have left it on my desk during lunch because that's the last time I remembered having used it. I searched all over my desk, in the drawers and everything, but it was nowhere to be found. Fed up, I got my computer out and signed into FindMyIphone so that I could ping it and find it. When the app located the phone it was five miles down the road. Luckily, the phone had a passcode that is very hard to guess and I keep literally none of my economic information on there for this exact reason. I'm one to believe that people are generally good and want to do the right thing, so I thought one of my students must have mistaken my phone for their own, so I called my phone to explain that they had picked up my phone by mistake. A young sounding girl answered it, said "hello?" before a male voice further away said "what are you doing, give me that right now" and then hung up. After that the phone was turned off and the findmyiphone app couldn't locate it, because they removed the sim card. Now for the happy ending. 2 days passed without my phone and some information was made known to me that a student was trying to sell an iPhone at school. I thought this was slightly suspicious so I informed the office and they found out who the student was. Sure enough, it was my phone. I never bothered to find out who it was or what happened to them, but it didn't appear to be any of my students because they were all present the following day. So that means a completely unafilliated student with any of my classes came into my room while I was gone and deliberately stole my phone to try and sell it. It turns out they were trying to jailbreak it, but incorrectly guessed my passcode too many times so the phone locked up permanently. This meant I had to go through a real hassle to get my phone to work again, but I eventually got it back to normal.
Phone passwords can be easily hacked. Most are 4, maybe 6 digits that are based on certain things such as birthdays. With this information a password is easily found, and if not based on anything there are a small number of combinations to test with the correct software
People who actually enjoy hearing jokes like these, have some of the most generic, and bland taste in comedy imaginable. These sort of phone related jokes were around since the early 2010s. How many times do you have to hear the same kind of jokes to get tired of it?

There are harmless burglars that break in just to steal things and if they get caught they flee without harming you. Then you have the ones that break in to steal things but if you catch them they will use violence to get away. But, there are also people who break in for the sole purpose of taking a life. Sad thing is, you never know which person you're gonna encounter if you have a burglar

That feeling when you don’t feel your phone in your pocket, only to realize you’re holding it.
Neko Gurii I do that all the time
A mini heart attack, served to you on a silver platter as dinner, with embarrassment and relief for dessert. Mhhhh my favorite 😋
At this point that feeling should have it’s own word, officially. It happens to anyone who owns a phone and the feeling (even the face expression) is almost the same for everyone. Just saying. I haven't sleep today and your comment made me think about that because that's all the work my brain is able to do now apparently. Still think is a good idea. An idea with no point at all but nonetheless… a good idea ⭐️
More like looking around the room for it only to realize you have it in your pocket.

And then a years worth of happy videos

Who the hell don't have a password on their phone you are crazy if you don't.
Apperantly a whole fuck ton of people
Phone passwords can be easily hacked. Most are 4, maybe 6 digits that are based on certain things such as birthdays. With this information a password is easily found, and if not based on anything there are a small number of combinations to test with the correct software
@@TheCowboyOfEpic some of them are pattern passwords which is preferable
