I heard somebody moaning and asked if they were ok, they said help but I just wanted to go home and get in bed and forget about the possibility that I could have saved a life but instead I write about it
Last story reminds of of another story when two boys literally saw a girl get attacked on some video site where you connect with strangers and didn't call the cops. THEY SAW HER GET ATTACKED! Next day they saw in the newspapers about the same girl being murdered while home alone.
Sadly this does not surprise me 😞
Witnessing a crime and ignoring it when you could have done something about it makes u a criminal as well.

In that case they were young teens. I'm not sure but I don't think in that app they had any information that they could really give. This guy on the other hand could have helped and chose to do nothing.

As a person who witnessed some random dude slice his own throat (the guy was on drugs) about 5 feet away from me AND i actually (hysterically crying) called the cops to come help/save him i cant believe that the guy in story #3 heard cries of help and couldve saved a life but didnt do that? It breaks my heart. That was someones missing family member/loved one and you chose not to even call for help? Thats so sad.

That doesn't make them stupid. Just because they experienced something like this doesn't mean they would never camp again. But I'm sure they were a lot smarter about it.
Just because you had a bad experience does not make them automatically not smart because they want to go do something again. Do not let fear dictate your choices, but let it make you wiser.

Fun fact: when the battery isn’t working on a car, it won’t try to turn over like the sound in the video, it’ll make a click or clicking noise. The sound in the video, however, could be a spark plug not allowing it to fire up.

Oh my God! What about the poor person who was begging for help in the last story? Why wouldn't he have called the police or at least told the tow truck man? Something obviously horrifying was happening to another human being and he just went home and slept! They could have been abducted and he was their only hope, how could you just abandon someone like that? That’s assuming that it’s A) Not a trap for some dumbass trying to play hero, or B) An elderly family member who has dementia, hearing some creep at the window and calling for help.
Just because someone is saying ‘help’, it doesn’t immediately mean that someone has been kidnapped or being held, you do have to use that god-given brain of yours to think logically. Call authorities and move on with your life.
Also, it was never said that the author didn’t call the police, maybe they did and then just wanted to forget about the whole scenario afterwards.

I have noticed a lot of these stories involving people who seems to not care about the welfare of others. And I don’t mean the creepy killers either. Like that last one, true or not, that person should have called the cops if he heard someone asking for help. Instead, he left and tried to forget the whole situation. It just shows you that sometimes those who are, in essence, bystanders are just as guilty.
Wow story number 2 is scary for many reasons. I don’t know a whole lot about camping, however I DO know the one rule all campers are suppose to follow. Never do it alone. For this exact reason. Stay safe out there people.

Could have been an ulterior plan, multiple kidnappers,criminals,demented,disturbed,crazily-insane personnel/person could have been on the other side not saying what he did was right at all, cause he could of done something/put in a bit of effort at least instead just executed the easiest escape plan, although I do understand that in the heat of the moment you don't seem to know what you'll do. No excuses though for that person in the last story

I broke down when my car engine went off with a loud bang, there was steam and smoke billowing from under the bonnet. I opened the bonnet and found the piston had gone through the block. Just then a very drunk man came over to my car. He said, in a very slurred voice, what's the matter with your engine. I said piston broke. The drunk man said that's funny so am I.

My grandmother had a pretty horrific experience. She lives alone, in a quiet village in England. One day she is in the living room, watching television when she hears the front door close. She creeps around to the front to see whats happening only to see the bottom half of a man walking slowly up the stairs. She hurries to go and grab something to defend herself and slowly creeps up the stairs after him (she's a bad ass). She quietly follows him only to see him slip under the spare bed. She grab the broom stick and start hitting the man under the bed and chases him down the stairs. He leaves and she is safe, however she did spot the handle of a knife from the mans side, she was very lucky.
Damn, my grandma lives in the same type of area as yours, a small village in England, but she lives with her daughter and husband who is an ex marine and owns a shotgun, so she's pretty safe.

The stories are fake...And written by people who want you to believe it's a true story, but don't know which details to include and which ones to omit so that the story will sound legit and fool the audience. The end result is what we just heard.

-OctonianTM there was literally a comment on one of his videos that I was watching last week suggesting this video (AKA, “car breakdown horror stories”). That’s where he gets these ideas from - his subscribers.
In this particular video, if you read he title, notice how he doesn’t even claim that these are “true” stories.
The reason why I watch these is because they’re entertaining. I love horror stories, films, shows, etc. I love listening to these stories because it gives me a good thrill. But I can distinguish between what’s real and what’s fake. These stories are clearly fake.

ArtinHeHe how are they clearly fake if they are completely plausible? Just because something like that happening is very strange/rare doesn’t make it impossible.
And yes he does get stories submit to him, he then chooses the best ones and adds them to a 3-story video of sorts, whether they are true or not, that’s up to you think whichever.
