People can be the greatest blessing in your life, but they can also be the source of immense pain. But why does Allah put evil people in your life? And how do you show grace to those who've wronged you? Getting over heartbreak and betrayal and controlling your anger and envy may be difficult, but it isn't impossible, and the wisdom in Islamic tradition is rife with practical advice and motivation.

You might be in a bad state; then, your associating with one who is in a worse state makes you see virtue in yourself.

As we venture into the space of producing higher quality media, we’ve worked hard to make sure that our compliance with our religious ethics is not sacrificed. While Yaqeen has always produced vocals for our Ramadan series, this series was unique in that it also included the story of a family in the background. Our talented production team worked with our scholars to ensure that all actors were in proper hijab, and that all gender interactions were only by Mahrams in real life. We’re grateful to the team for its wonderful effort, and grateful to the families that agreed to participate.

The videos are done in a way that makes you want to watch more as there’s also a storyline going behind the message being delivered. May Allah reward you massively for this! Subhanallah, alhamdullilah, Allah hu akbra!
This is my first Ramadan in my 18 years of life where I feel like I am actually spending the month of Ramadan properly ( always room for improvement ofc) I used to have my headphones in 24/7 listening to music and had a hard time letting go especially when cleaning. Subhanallah Allah gave me the remedy with khutbas like these. May Allah bless all those that put these videos together, and may Allah bless everyone else who's watching these videos and taking each message into deep consideration, and may we take these lessons and apply them into our lives, and the lives of those around us, and may we be of those Allah is pleased with Inshallah 💚🤍
My advice to you is to stay on the right path and not let this world distract you from jannah
Alhamdulillah that you’re really connecting with Ramadan this year. May Allah accept your Ibadah and continue to elevate your rank in Jannah
Ameen ya Rabbul ‘Alameen ✨
You're not alone in this. Ameen Thumma Ameen to the duas. May Allah reward you and everyone one of us.🤲🙏
Allahu Akbar!*
Brother soliman I'm from Afghanistan but I live in Finland for almost 17 years .when I come first I was alone and sad because I haven't have any friend or family members but I pray from my bottom of my heart and Allah listen to me every time when I asked him he answer me. At the first it wasn't lots of people to speak about Islam but alhamdulillah look at now we have lost of people they show me Islam in new ways . I really appreciate your efforts towards omah to help them to be them self and have a good life and have peace. Every time I'm sad or hurt breaking I see your video I feel just peace thank so much. pray for my children to be a good Muslim.
May Allah bless you. I also live in Finland.
May allah make your children be righteous and honor you inshallah. Amin
The timing of this video appearing while I've been crying on my prayer mat, still grappling with feelings of betrayal and heartbreak, feels like a sign of Allah comforting me 😭😭
There is no such thing as coincidence, all things are decreed by Allah for a purpose ✨ you were meant to see this :)
Same 🥺🥺
HE is please take it easy 🫂
How can u repeatedly forgive forgive and shows patience to the other parent of ur kids who takes every opportunity to insult put down and degrade u in every dealing even after divorce and him moving on but still being toxic in any and all of his dealing regarding our shared 3 kids and continues to cause pain over over again.
Not alone ❤
Holding onto resentment is corrosive for the heart, while forgiving and letting go is therapeutic. I hope and pray that Allah grants us the healing, the shifaa we're desperately in need of and also unaware of .
Well said! I agree with you
"The quality of Fajr with a clean heart is better than an entire night of Qiyam with a heart full of hate". 💯✨
i swear ,patience has been such a difficult thing for me ,all the time ,i tell myself i will be patient but i end up not having patience at all , May Allah increase patience in my heart🤲
Ameen
Ameen ❤ the same
And Allah trained my patience, and test my patience to deal with my health problems for three year right know. May Allah give shifaa for the sick Muslims ameen.
Aameen summa Aameen ❤
Ameen and pray for me too that I will achieve patience 😊
It happens
Go easy on yourself
Keep Trying
I can forgive when people have personally wronged me. However I am not capable of letting go of that immense anger when it comes to the oppressor all around the world. The people who bomb Gaza, the people who are destroying Sudan, the people who uphold systems of oppression and injustice around the world. I don’t think I can ever forgive that 💔
May Allah unite us in jannatul firdaus with our beloved prophet(SAW).
Allahumma ameen
Allahumma Aameen
Allahumma amin 🤲
Aameen
Allahuma ameen
This series is biggest blessing❤in 2024
The actual biggest 😊🫶🏾
❤😊
" Speak the truth even if it's against yourself "
Yesterday, I went through a situation in which I was wronged, and it made me cry in the street, and even when I returned home, I did not stop thinking about the matter until the night. Thank you, my brother. This clip reassured my heart more.
Sorry I hope you are over it now
May Allah bless you and make it easy for you
May Allah bless you with inner peace
May Allah bless you with inner peace and make everything easier for you. I know how you feel; I pray that whatever it is, you feel better and overcome the pangs of pain that come with being wronged.
Please know your feelings are valid. It is okay to feel hurt, we just do not dwell on it. Dwelling tends to get us close to dark energy. But just feeling the hurt, is 100% okay. It’s okay to sit with it and feel it in your body. Give it space and give it love without judgement. Then release it onto Allah in sujood. Forgive the other person for the sake of Allah-forgiveness is for your peace of mind, it doesn’t excuse the other person for what they’ve done. Remember if we handle these situations with sabr, our reward is great. Seeking advice is perfectly fine but we complain to Allah, alone. May He heal your heart and compensate you immensely in both worlds ameen.

I couldn't stop thinking of Palestinians while watching this 😢 How they always choose to be patient and accepted Allah's tests, never forgetting that Allah's rewards will be far better than having hatred and seeking revenge...
I greatly appreciate this series that talks to the ugliest of feelings that everyone undoubtedly has.
This feels like a direct message from Allah because of the rage I was feeling. Alhamdulillah
"Unlock your higher selves when you witness the lower selves of others" Such meaningful words to ponder upon.
SubhanAllah, just yesterday I was thinking that he should speak about heartbreak and mention and today I wake up to this video. It’s speaking to me. As I was accused, betrayed, I bared patience.
How do you know the topic. Your videos are so relatable. I don't know what I'm typing because I have no words to explain. Your topics are related to current situations. It is just like Allah is answering to me through your videos.
Thank You. Allah bless

You can turn this series into ebook just like the trauma series. It will be helpful and work as a resource in times of confusion about Allah's decree. And i think that's the only faith of article, faith in Preordainment Or Allah's decree which people like me struggle with but it's a necessary component of faith. Jazakallah
It's just difficult to forgive them sometimes. I keep thinking of their betrayal and am sinning by thinking bad thoughts about them. Life is tough.
Nothing to watch is more beloved to me than this series of WHY ME in this month of Ramadan. I can't wait to see next one and the next but sadly we are almost reaching half of this blessed month😢 May we be among those who exit this month spotless and sinless. Ameen
Ya Allah bless me with good friendships. Bless us with people that bring us happiness and elevate our Imaan. Bless us with good company always. Bless us with your mercy now and always. Ameen
Empty stomachs, but to feed the soul Subhanallāh. ❤
I can relate to this because I helped someone before Ramadan with some funds and he betrayed me & he didn’t keep to his promise of returning the funds. Mind you I have intended to use the money for sadaqah during this holy month . I was angry & felt used but I forgave him and removed myself because I don’t want anger or rage to consume me plus it’s Ramadan I want my prayers and fasting to be accepted! Moral of my story; do things for Allah sake because the reward is more beneficial than human plus probably it’s a sign to save you from evil 🫶🏾🤍. Ramadan Mubarak ☪️
I got physically and emotionally abused I want to forgive but its hard because even if I forgive I will never forget its been 5 years now when its Ramadan I remember the physical pain I felt in my arm in one of ramadans......may Allah makes me strong to forgive and forget
Aameen summa Aameen ❤
"unlock your higher sleves when you witness the lower selves of others" 🎯 straight on point
I hope, one fine day, I'll be one of the casts in Al-Yaqeen Ramadan series. They are so many things we can contribute, however, I really feel like I must be part of any Ramadan series or Al-Yaqeen Ramadan series.
Dr Omar Suleiman, you are truly a blessing of our generation, may Allah swt reward you and all those at Yaqeen with so many beautiful blessings, happiness and eternal bliss. Your words touch my heart, and really put things into perspective. After leaving an abusive marriage, I truly see that people can be tests for each other…May Allah swt protect us, guide us to the straight path and forgive our shortcomings…May Allah swt allow us to forgive those who have hurt us, just as we expect His mercy and forgiveness. Ameen!! 😢❤️🤲🏼 x
8:34 Surah Al Asr translation:
“By the ˹passage of˺ time!
Surely humanity is in ˹grave˺ loss,
except those who have faith, do good, and urge each other to the truth, and urge each other to perseverance.”
The funniest thing i had no idea there was a storyline in the background until i read an article about the production of the series 😂😂😂. I usually listen and not watch so then i had to go back and rewatch to catch the storyline- i love it.
Its like...he knew I'd be heartbroken this season. Every question has been a question I've asked myself
My parents used to say “holding onto a grudge is like drinking poison expecting the other person to die” May Allah grant us the ability to continuously forgive and let go with ease ♥️
I’m heartbroken 💔 never been like this in my entire life
I have been listening all the seriese in a row and made my heart in peace becuase I needed someone to talk to me, so Dr. Omar Suleiman has done being a mentor to me. I can't thank enough Allah whonhas granted me to understand English language, which i rejoice and connect to its meaning. Jazak Allah hu khair Dr. Omar Suleiman!
😭😭 going through painful break-up
And feeling betrayed
Allah willed for this episode to find me
9:56 this jewel about anger is game changing !! Al hamdu’lilah
I am troubled by something very similar to the topic of the past few videos. I kept spiraling and asking Allah SWT for guidance. He guided me towards these videos. Before that, I thought Allah SWT had abandoned me. But He just showed me what I needed to see, as I was blinded by my rage and heart break. May He guide us all. Ameen.
May Allah bless you immensely for the compassion and mercy shown in this series. Ameen Ya Rabbi.🩷🙏🏾🩷
Our Palestinian brothers and sisters with their amazing resilience. Showing us what it is to be Muslim, to be of the Mu’minun. They are the best of us. The best of this ummah. And it cannot be removed by bombs, propaganda and military power. We love you Palestine. You will be free ان شاءالله
You are already victorious.
This series is therapy for the ummah! May Allah (swt) bless Sheikh Omar Suleiman and everyone who made this series possible, and help us apply the good qualities mentioned in this series in our lives and abstain from the bad ones - Ameen!
Some short videos can find you a lot of long lasting tears
This series is the best I have ever seen. I am excited to rewatch them again and again and to send this series to anyone who will listen to me. All the advice comes from a place of life experience and tests that we will all go thru. Each of these tests only brings us closer to Allah if you are open to understanding the lessen of each difficulty. Allah is the most merciful, the most high, and the all knower. To him is our full reliance, and to him, our full understanding of life is to be taught to those who are open to learning the wisdom and purpose of life.
SHEIK OMAR SULEIMAN, A GIFT FROM ALLAH TO THIS UMMAH AND WORLD 🌎♥🙏❤💖💕
All day long the closing ayah playing in my head.
Rabbana atina fi dunya hasanatan wa fil akhirati hasanatan waqina 'adhaban-nar
Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Amin
"Deal with people with grace despite the pain of betrayal and hurt" This is the hardest part, people think that because do not say anything and stay quiet about the situation they see it as a form of weakness and think that they can do whatever they want. It causes them to take things further and further. How long do you put up with it? When do you step in and say something ? (I posted on Mufti Menk's channel about me having to deal with oppression in the work place and how my manager continues to pile work on me. Thursday she called me all the way back to the workplace after I clocked out just to have me put two racks on the shelf that I forgot) I feel like she's pushing things further and further because I remain calm and quiet.
Grace doesn’t necessarily mean staying quiet and passive while someone oppresses you.
Sometimes it can mean speaking up, but with kindness and politeness, and without showing anger.
I appreciate Dr. Omer Suleiman's views about pain and suffering coming from Allah (swt) to test us and we should respond with the virtue of "Patience", However, I would like to add an another dimension to it, Sometimes the pain and suffering comes to us from Allah (swt) as a punishment !!
So we should not just sit back doing "Sabr - Patience " but we should also do lots of reflection on what we have done wrong in the past and plead to Allah (swt) to help let us realise what sins we committed in the past and are ignorant about them !! and to do Tauba - Istighfar seeking forgiveness for those sins that could be the cause of the pain and suffering as a form of Divine Wrath - Punishment !!
Purify your intentions this Ramadan❕
Say, “Indeed my prayer, my sacrifice, my life, and my death are all for Allah (swt) Lord of all worlds.” (Quran 6:162) 🤍
