I'm asking a genuine question here. Not trying to sound condescending or anything, but genuinely curious because I'm new to the world of compound bow hunting. I'm curious: I just bought a new Bear adapt 2. Seems to be a fairly solid setup, and came with all the accessories to jump into the world of hunting with a compound bow (sights, rest, quiver, stabilizer). The bow can be adjusted 55-70 pounds and has a wide range of adjustments that are very easy for even a Newby like myself to make. I got all of that for about $550 before tax. What is it about bows like Hoyt and Matthew's that make them cost over $1,000 more just for the naked bow? On paper, I'm getting fairly similar performance to something like the bow displayed here, plus all of the accessories for a fraction of the price. Again, I'm not necessarily saying my new bow is "just as good", I'm just genuinely curious if these bows are actually bringing over $1,000 more value to the table.
1.quality of workmanship 2.try to shoot them both side by side for at least a few days (it's like buying a car in the basic version and then in full equipment with the most powerful engine. of course they will take you both, but you just feel the difference) 3.personal preferences :-)
31 years in the archery biz. By far the WORST warranty experience with Hoyt. NO Urgency... complete lack of caring about our customer... that paid top dollar - $1900 carbon bow. Was like dealing with some of the cheap Xbow Mfgs. Ridiculous. th-cam.com/video/gri0CId2VhE/w-d-xo.html ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think this will be my bow for this year…thanks for the review!
Thanks Mr Mike. Enjoy your videos around this time of the year. God bless you guys.
Been waiting for you😂
They also have a 75# option this year.
Love the reviews, which camo pattern is the 29.5 is that?
Hullo Sir. Is it true that the Hoyts can survive after a dry fire? Best regards from Italy.

Good question to be honest

Don’t shoot one of them flagship bows. They will put the venom in ya and soon you will be down the rabbit hole of this and that
