Jacob I know the reason I love watching your channel. It's because you are not negative. You're very happy and positive in this very negative world. Thank you for being a positive influence in my life. ❤
Scorpion is a very special roller coaster to me since it was the first coaster with a loop that I rode. Also brief history Busch Gardens originally when it opened in 1959 was a brewery tour since it was originally owned by the Anheuser-Busch beer company and then evolved into an animal park and eventually a full on theme park.
i rode the scorpion when it first opened up in 1980 and i was 11 years old. it was the first upside down coaster i had ever been on. i was so scared but after that i road every rollercoaster i could. awesome experience.
I remember riding Scorpion for the first time back in 1988. It was a big thing then. They sold t-shirts that proclaimed "I survived the Scorpion!". By today's standards it's pretty tame. The coaster that actually makes me feel a bit sick today is Kumba. That won't stop me from riding it but I do feel a tad nauseous by the time I get off it. LOL! That's what makes it awesome! I rode the original Gwazi the next to last day it was in operation. It was in pretty rickety condition and was such a rough ride you almost needed a chiropractor when the ride ended.
Ohhh that's why everyone's been uploading Scorpion POVs today... Definitely unfortunate that it's closing but Busch Gardens has a consistently good coaster lineup so I'm excited to see what's next. Still sad to see a pretty decent Schwarzkopf coaster go.
Mr. Carpet bagger, you should visit Exeter Haunted Corn maze in Missouri ! They have multiple haunted houses, rides, a huge 2 sided corn maze, pumpkin patch, axe throwing, barn slides, barn swings, corn cob cannons, go karts, and alot more ! And best part is it's hidden away deep in the ozarks in the middle of no where in this tiny town. ! It's like being in Halloween town !
Cousin Jacob! That is called a link analysis chart. Also called evidence boards or detective boards. Love the channel TCB, I’ve been watching you for years.
Wow! That is pretty sad news about the Scorpion closing after all these years. I remember when I went to Busch Gardens Tampa back in the 80's, and the Scorpion and Python (corkscrew coaster) were the only two coasters in the park. What I found amazing was that the Scorpion had no over shoulder restraints like you find on other inverting coasters. I had later discovered that this is a trait of Schwartzkopf looping coasters, and another coaster I rode, the Sooper Dooper Looper at Hershey Park also didn't have the over shoulder restraints. Now back to my day at Busch Gardens Tampa. We had rain that day too, and we were waiting on line for the log flume because it was a very hot day. A thunderstorm came through and my cousin and I waited for it to pass. However, when it did, it still didn't open up, so we went into the park and found out many rides were closed. It still rained, but with the threat of the thunderstorm gone, some rides opened back up. I was surprised that they were running the Scorpion in the rain, but not the Python. I only went on the Python twice that day, but the Scorpion, my cousin and I went on it at least a dozen times. After a while, many rides that were closed during the rain opened back up and we kind of had our fill of the Scorpion. It is sad to see it go, but I hope it will reappear in another park. It would be cool if Knoebel's Grove would "adopt" this coaster. As for the Phoenix, it strikes me as a budget Alpengeist, with no inversions. It seems OK, but I think I would prefer the Scorpion. Wish it would stay.
Phoenix Rising was the best rollercoaster at Bush Gardens in my opinion. This was an amazing experience to meet you Jacob and I hope we across paths again. You made me and my moms day sooo much❤️
Phoenix Rising is my new favorite coaster at Busch Gardens! We had a wonderful day and meeting you made the day so much better! I hope to see you again and that you have safe travels!
Jacob is slowly turning into a coaster enthusiast. When the transformation is complete we’ll all know because Jacob will learn that he doesn’t need to take his glasses off on the coasters lol
Interesting how the scorpion is the oldest ride and they're shutting it down and phoenix rising is the newest more modern ride. If you don't get the reference, In mythology the scorpio is the sign of death and rebirth, after it dies it is reborn into a phoenix.
I haven't been to Busch Gardens Tampa since 1990. Both coasters that were there at the time, Python and now Scorpion, will be gone if I ever make it back. While not the most thrilling or with the best layouts, historical rides have been lost. I thought the graphic on that shirt was called a crime clue collage, all the evidence gathered by a person connected to solve the mystery. Congratulations on getting the mold-o-matic witch.
I think I mentioned it on an old Busch Gardens vlog of yours, but when I visited Busch Gardens The Dark Continent in the 70s when I was a kid, I got my first Moldomatics, a rhino, a flamingo and an alligator. Great vlog, as always.
Well hello carbagger I really enjoy watching you're video yes I have been watching you're videos I am glad you are there have a amazing weekend and be careful and safe 😊
Wikipedia calls it: “conspiracy board”, “evidence board”, “crazy wall” and “murder board”. I call it the “red yarn conspiracy collage” it seems they don’t make the distinction between detective shows that have a cork board with suspect and crime scene photos. And the conspiracy theory red yarn boards. I believe the first instance of the red yarn conspiracy type board was actually in the film “Conspiracy Theory” with Mel Gibson.
I had never heard of a Mold-A-Rama machine before I saw your video of the Field Museum in Chicago. When I was there, I got a magnificent light blue Quetzalcoatlus.
Jacob, please come to The Big E this year. It's the state fair shared by all the New England states, so you'd be checking off 6 states all at once. It runs September 13-29 in West Springfield, Massachusetts.
The scopion que looks similar to old Zambezi Zinger que ...very similar ..worlds of fun ..my fav old one along with the now gone orient express two my fav coasters
We've been having some fairly significant storms coming through my little slice of Florida the past few days, and Tampa is the lightning strike capital of the world, after all so I was a little iffy on your chances, but I'm glad you made it. Also, another new Mold O Matic woohoo!
The Python was my first roller coaster there but that’s been gone for a bit and now the scorpion … but they will redo that space for a fantastic coaster !
Scorpion is a classic. Still a good ride. Glad I got to ride it one last time this week… As for the gorillas, last month a female gorilla passed away and just last week a 37 year old male gorilla died. Giving the gorillas some space and time to mourn their losses maybe?
Morning Jacob 🤓📸 the carpetbagger scorpion 🦂 is going forever, another rollercoaster 🎢 gone. Sound like the show or the German rock 🤘 band lol thanks for sharing this Busch Garden in Tampa Florida. Take care.
Looks like a "Crime wall collage" at the beginning.........and I could`ve sworn I saw Patrick Ewing and Steven A. Smith during your walk-through..........
I think I've heard the board with all the strings and clippings called a "conspiracy board" before, but I don't know if that's the official name for it.
'Less spooky giraffe'...some people haven't seen the Owl House, and that's okay, plenty of time to check it out. Seriously though I love those dinosaur horses, they're friend shaped.
Big cedar fair pass tip. This may be changing with the merger. Not sure how they will handle it in the future. But as of right now they are the same price everywhere I think except Knotts. But we live in Buffalo. We get our pass at Canada's Wonderland. The price is the same as Cedar Point and those parks but we get the exchange rate with the Canadian dollar. I believe the upgrades are slightly cheaper too. Like the dining plans, and fast lane
Anton Schwarzkopf made some good rides! I remember riding Scorpion when I was I teen. A nice tame roller coaster before moving up to Montu and Kumba. Sad to see it go!
HEY,.. JACOB & JENN YA ! that's So sad that a lot Of the older roller Coasters like the Scorpion are Getting the Chopping block I know that they're Old and probably The maintenance It's getting more Expensive but There's nothing Like the old Park Rides and Coasters too Bad Some rich guy Can't Buy them all and build an old Ride amusement Park nothing like Dreaming Ok Jacob take care and Stay safe on your journeys 👍✌️ Mark D. just let you know that I really appreciate you Jacob doing this theme park video because we don't have many theme park in my country 🥲 I'm soo happy ❤

Sad to see the coaster gone but something new😊
Scorpion was actually my very first full 360 looping coaster. I remember it very well and loved it.

Aha it seems fitting a famous Scorpio such as you should ride and honor the Scorpion. Love your content and love Jenn too
Welcome to Tampa! I’m the person that will hold your stuff while you ride the coaster 😅
The Scorpion reminds me a lot of the Shockwave at Six Flags over Texas in Arlington. It’s about the same timeframe and technology. Thx for sharing!
I really enjoy the way you scream in terror Jacob....it makes me smile.
20:17 I like the style of these seat restraints, very “go pro on the chest” friendly
The Frankenstein Mold-O-Rama kind of looks like a very detailed Kirby.
Scorpion was my first looping roller coaster. It was the first looping coaster for many Floridians of a certain age.
So fun Jenna while waiting goodbye scorpion what a fun video thanks Jacob for sharing you are the best
I’m glad your heart is stronger than mine for riding those.. Say “ Hi” to Jenn for us!

Wow, I road that roller coster when it was new!
This park is so underrated, so many great thrill coasters!
This was my very first looping coaster...way back in 1980. It was only a few months old when I rode it :)
Wow! Pretty sure my husband & I went on Scorpion when we were down in FL for our honeymoon. 1988 😂
Phoenix Rising was the best rollercoaster at Bush Gardens in my opinion. This was an amazing experience to meet you Jacob and I hope we across paths again. You made me and my moms day sooo much❤️

I DONT!? I feel like they’re going to fly off which would be expensive…
Kootchie kootchie Tiger, how amazing that would be!
I really enjoy watching your TH-cam Channel, Jacob! I wish the best for both of you and Jenn. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Fun times in Florida! Thanks for sharing Jacob!

Great video, Jacob. Love seeing you on the roller-coasters, your baver, then me. Till the next one, take care, my friend, and as always, safe travels.

The Best Ride There The Train.
33:47 We love ❤️ how to TALK to the animals; especially that beautiful TIGER 🐅. Great 👍 video Jacob.
It looks like a really fun ride! What a shame it's closing. I loved the mugs with the stained glass on them. ♥
you probably saw, but the Witch Mold is brand new this year! It has not been used anywhere else! So COOL!

Good Evening Jacob 🙋🏽.
Baby montu and scorpion. Fun times
I'm really hoping to make it to Florida and visit Busch Gardens in November when they have the Christmas lights up.
Hey, what about Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut? Its a nice aquarium and a cool museum and pier.
The thing with yarn, I've heard call An Evidence(Theory)Board.
I think I mentioned it on an old Busch Gardens vlog of yours, but when I visited Busch Gardens The Dark Continent in the 70s when I was a kid, I got my first Moldomatics, a rhino, a flamingo and an alligator. Great vlog, as always.

That cute little witch laugh made my day 😂 🧙♀️
I had never heard of a Mold-A-Rama machine before I saw your video of the Field Museum in Chicago. When I was there, I got a magnificent light blue Quetzalcoatlus.
I really hope they are able to re-home Scorpion to a small park. I love that they started a game of Jenga during the weather delay.
Jacob, please come to The Big E this year. It's the state fair shared by all the New England states, so you'd be checking off 6 states all at once. It runs September 13-29 in West Springfield, Massachusetts.
19:45…. When it’s over the shoulders normally that means it goes upside down.
A Montague is what the t-shirt from bush gardens

I'm pretty sure the spikes on the top of the wall are to keep birds off. They are found everywhere around here in NY.
RIP Scorpion
36:54 They dream of Carpetbaggers
Good Morning " YA ALL " Jacob the Carpetbagger..!!
Spooky season starting great video jacob

if anyone misses the scorpion, the silver bullet at frontier city in okc has a very similar layout.
Oh. We have an illustrious guest in town! I would lose my mind if I was at Bush Gardens and happen to see Jacob
Thanks Jacob I was born in 1980
The Python was my first roller coaster there but that’s been gone for a bit and now the scorpion … but they will redo that space for a fantastic coaster !

This is sad Scorpion was my first roll coaster! It will be missed
Morning Jacob 🤓📸 the carpetbagger scorpion 🦂 is going forever, another rollercoaster 🎢 gone. Sound like the show or the German rock 🤘 band lol thanks for sharing this Busch Garden in Tampa Florida. Take care.
Depends on who has the board, from the killers perspective it could be a dream board.
I was there in Florida at the Disneyland All-Star sports hotel and it rained literally every day at 2:00 on the DOT😅 everyday I was there.
Looks like a "Crime wall collage" at the beginning.........and I could`ve sworn I saw Patrick Ewing and Steven A. Smith during your walk-through..........
Good morning Jacob
39:43 OH NO! 😏 lol
They are called spiderwebs, used in movies to make connections from person to evidence

I believe family Guy referred to it as "A Beautiful Mind"🎉 room in reference to the Busch gardens map...
Theme parks don't always need to introduce anything new to keep me going.
Anton Schwarzkopf made some good rides! I remember riding Scorpion when I was I teen. A nice tame roller coaster before moving up to Montu and Kumba. Sad to see it go!
Scorpion was my very first coaster I ever rode. It propelled my love for rollercoasters.
I believe it’s Papier collé or news paper collages
Scares before Fairs. It's spooky season.
You can ride a similar one in Utah at Lagoon. Same maker. Colossus the Fire Breathing Dragon.
I’ve been on colossus, it’s a lot of fun
HEY,.. JACOB & JENN YA ! that's So sad that a lot
