Lost my FEAR of snakes when my Ninny taught us kids difference in venomous & safe snakes . I have a healthy respect for all critters ,bears ,snakes etc. Many are out friends & good for the Environment too. Just BE AWARE. Please do not kill them. BEAUTUFUL places there. Thanks for sharing.
I totally understand the fear of snakes. I am not a fan but my mother couldn’t even look at pictures of snakes. Dad and I were lookouts for her. Once at the Desert Museum in Tucson AZ there was a live display. I walked back to my mother and pointed her down another path. Mom didn’t even question me. On the other hand my half sister questioned me. So I had to explain. I have tried very hard not to fear, yet I don’t need to meet one. Beautiful coast and lighthouses. Thank you Riley for your assistance. 😊✌🏼😎👍🏼
I am just like your mom. Lol. I was 5 when i saw a tiny green one come through my legs and i flipped totally out. Lol. I wont look at them in pictures either. I don’t want to see them at all. If one pops up in a book or on tv etc it totally takes my breath away.
I can totally relate to the fear of snakes! 😨 Just the thought sends shivers down my spine. It's amazing how our fears can guide our actions. On a brighter note, the views of the lighthouses and coastline were absolutely breathtaking. Nature always has a way of mesmerizing us! 🌊🐍
Amen I am with you when it comes to snakes I do not like them I have a rule of thumb in my house if it doesn't have fur or feet it doesn't come in my house unless it's in the form of a handbag about a pair of shoes or I can prepare it to go in my oven or on my barbecue grill so yeah I'm with you if I would have known her snakes I wouldn't have gone LOL
I understand your fear. I have been petrified before and it's literal...you can't move. All the adrenaline and you freeze - fight or flight. I don't really care about snakes and I love lizards but I'm crippling afraid of heights if it's just me and my two legs. I can fly, I can go on roller coasters but if it's just me walking, I can't. It's weird because I used to climb on top of our house and sunbathe so I was never afraid of heights when I was younger.
Beautiful views of the light house and the long beach Washington peninsula. Thank you for sharing a place there that I have never been to but drive by often
Hey Bunny I understand your fear of snakes. But just to put your mind at ease a bit maybe there are no venomous snakes in Western Oregon. Eastern Oregon has dimond back rattlesnakes but none in Western Oregon. Hope that helps some.
I understand crippling fear. Mine is of loose dogs. I own dogs and have no fear, but unknown dogs I am leery of and loose dogs I freeze. Watching videos of so many loose dogs at these gatherings, makes me double think my plans a bit.
@@tracker5849 I was attacked as a child by a loose dog. I have been around dogs my whole life. I have respect for the damage a dog can do, and I have respect for those that do not like or are afraid of dogs.
Yep! I understand. Snakes freak me out too. I had a too close encounter with a pigmy rattler. Luckily I was not struck. I had taken a snake class.. don't run or move quickly. Make no sound (oh yeah you want to scream your head off and run but don't) and back away very slowly while looking at the nasty snake. Black racers won't hurt you but yeah it's a snake! EEK!
I am worse than you with those critters. I don’t even like saying it’s name. Gives a fear unthinkable. If id payed $10000 i would have still got back in my car too. We are not friends at all.
The snakes your friend saw were Garter snakes. Their heads get no bigger than a thumb. And no longer than 18-24 inches. I'm 50 yrs old, and have NEVER had one NOT slither away when you get close. Hope this helps in some way
@@BunnyPlaysHere lol I understand. I don't like snakes either. But these are so small, they couldn't bite you even if they wanted too. Also? You may try going to a hypnotist to get you over your fear. I used a hypnotist to quit smoking. Smoked for 20 years. 13 since I quit. Hope you can get past your fear, and conquer that trail one day! You're going to love it! Good luck!
NO snakes! How beautiful with the blue sky and water churning around the rocks.
Eating dinner at Heroes in Branson. You made it look good.
Another awesome location.
💛💛💛
Hey Bunny, I am with you. I hate snakes and am scared to death of them. Nope I don’t do snakes!
They are creepy and weird no feet yet so many places
Riley Our Hero. LOL
Lol I will pass this message on lol
Haha thanks! 🙂
I would have done exactly the same thing!! I won’t even let my dog walk in high grass! Snakes…..hard no! Beautiful scenery and so informative!

Beautiful views. Fear of snakes is a common fear. Keep smiling 😊😁❤️
No shame in having ophidiophobia! Even Indian Jones was afrid of snakes! 😃♥️

I can't deal with snakes either. They just aren't normal!
I’m in total agreement with You Bunny lol…. A snake 🐍 is a snake 😳 I’d been running out of there too 🐍😳🏃♀️😎🚐😊
This was great - I thought I knew Cape Disappointment but I’ve overlooked a lot. Makes me think a return in September would be a good thing. Thanks!

Understand!
My life without snakes is okay with me!!!

Spiders and centipedes are my biggest NOPE.
Understandably so
For me it's heights. It's bad enough that when watching videos that show great heights from the top I sometimes have to shut my eyes for a moment .

Ok, so how did a copperhead end up in your bathtub!?! 😳

FYI - there are NO venomous snakes in western Washington. Only harmless garter snakes.
I am not a fan of snakes even if they are not venomous. Unfortunately it is because of a past trauma
Chicken 🐓 butt 😂🤣🫶

snakes in general freak me out following having a copperhead end up in my bathtub... so i never will see a snake the same way!! lol
