Thank you! Very blessed to have the new trick, and I've been putting it to good use. I can't wait to see what you come up with using the new super trick!
Invaluable info thx man, I'm always trying to get better at understanding the wall mechanics as that's my weakest point by far, that new pre existing merge method is amazing also 👌👌
Very cool tricks, thank you so much for sharing. I knew about the blue ridge arches being able to switch to half walls (main reason I bought the set) but your tricks I've never seen before so it definitely made the buy worth it. I actually had a situation the other day where I had a steel resource extractor not allowing underpinnings for a spot right next to it. There was a rock underground blocking it, but because of the blue ridge set, I was able to manipulate the arches to half walls (and going underground) to get it to place. Part of me thinks the Devs allowed this for more flexibility for camp builders and if so it's greatly appreciated! Keep up the great work and hope to see more tricks from you in the future! Cheers!
They are so helpful! I have a few recent builds that I would have never been and l able to complete without them. I'm always happy to share what I know with the community. I have dozens of tutorials so far, and will continue to make them for as long as I'm doing Fallout content. Thanks for the kind regards mate!
discovered the slant wall thing by accident, i have a floating lake camp thats had a halfwall stuck and stopped my build but this fixed it! good to see a full explanation rather than my dumb luck so video saved in my "76 build bible" playlist...thanks
Most of us did. It's insanely helpful though! I wasn't even looking for it when I saw the skant walls in my half wall menu. Before I could make a video for it, someone else already had, so I didn't want to saturate YT with the same content. I waited to release my video until I had some applications for the new trick. Thank you very much!
@@MoonlightCowboyGaming I think I know the video you're referring to. It's the one that made me buy the set initially. Thank you again for sharing all the tricks you found, it's so greatly appreciated!
Been meaning to catch this for a few days and am so glad I finally did!! How did I not know about floating walls using wall or ceiling items? 🤦♀️ Awesome MC - as long as you’re teaching, I’ll be learning ❤❤
@@aussie_kitty_kat I didn't even think about it for my first wall tutorial because I very rarely use it. But I'm finding out that very few people realized that it was doable. Thanks for the longstanding friendship and for checking out the vid!
Always so grateful to you for the time you spend watching my videos. I hope you find this one helpful when you get around to it, but moreover I hope things slow down for you so you have time to digress and relax my friend!
It should be out in a few weeks. I really like how it turned out. I have a few build videos in queue before that one gets released, but even Silver Bunny said it was one of her faves, so it must be good!
Nice mate! I didn't know about the floating wall trick, and some of the other tricks will make things easier aswell. Very useful tutorial. Thx buddy 👍🏼😎
BTW. Since we use the flamethrower trap a whole lot. The blueprint I use the most while building is my flamethrower blueprint, it's a stashbox with the flamethrower and a small generator on top. You can place it and pick it up again, you can just attach a wire, so you don't need to get out of the build menu and walk up to the flamethrower to trigger it. And the flamethrower on top of 1 stashbox is also the perfect height to burn 2 half walls at once. A simple blueprint that will make your life alot easier. 👍🏼😎
@@alexp2629 lol yeah i did the same thing. I actually made 2. One with just a flamethrower and generator and one like you made. Makes things so much easier...
Ive got the new sets and a lot of merging techniques work. However since this vid not sure if these tricks work as can put angle walls down but cant turn the walls into half walls which is frustrating.
The trick now only works for the Blue Ridge set. It used to work for the Fort Fortress set, but it was patched recently. The Blue Ridge set still works.
@@scarletsymbioteoof9790 I bit that bullet late last year. I had two characters at that time, and I really didn't want to delete the camps I had. I now have 5. The good news is the Atom Shop items go to every character. But those in-game plans... well none of my characters have them all. But I divided them up in a way that each character has something different to build with, rather than making one character have all of them.
I love how much customization there is, possible, within F76... but... Used to be a thing to say one needed a PhD to make creative camps. It's so far beyond that anymore, plus the cost to buy all the things. I think it's just too far, personally.

double half walls are way easier to make, just use the red barn half walls and a flamethrower
I couldn't agree more. It's just a nice option to have when you build into other things like the Monorail or other pre-existing obstacles.

Awesome tips. So, Fort set and Blue Ridge Caravan slanty walls are the only ones that work?
@@grogg7661 Since a recent update, is only the Blue Ridge set. But that still works. Just did the trick yesterday.

I’ve started making new characters just to build new base ideas. I just hate the process of getting the bps all over again

Have to wonder how many of these are on purpose, built into the system so that developers could make new stuff easily.
@@gregorybrazell5133 IKR!! Same here. If I really wanted to sell re-skinned Atom Shop items, I would need to come up with a special secondary purpose.
So do the fortress catwalks work the same as the vault catwalks?
Yes. The only catch with them is they have a smaller hit box if you need to destroy them for any reason.
