    As a camp builder I really liked this longer type of tutorial. Especially when it comes to the harder stuff. Thank you for putting so much time into these videos! I am working on a garden and I'm just not happy with the pathway. I'm going to give this a try. I know I'm gonna struggle but I do love the challenge.

      Yes it's a bit tricky. But you only have to do it right once, and then you have the BP. Each wall foundation costs 5% of your total budget once all the vines are removed and either a rood or foundation is added. So it is a camp budget drain, but not too bad considering the custom look. Thanks for checking out my tutorial Vie!!

      @MoonlightCowboyGaming It being a BP is definitely what sold me on attempting to do this! Especially when you added the foundation to allow it to snap. 🙌

    So much effort, I'm really amazed you have that talent and patience. I love to build my camp, I'm in no way ELITE cause I have no patience. My maximum are double walls and merging objects. I'm always glad to visit beautiful camps, makes me think fondly about people that I don't know at all and how amazing they are!

      It's a labor of love LOL! There are days that I feel like I'm among the best builders in Fallout. Then there are days where Nux Blackthumb, Radsrux, Greengrass28g (Piuy), or someone else come out with a build that melts my popsicle. That's what I love the most about this game. There is no "Best Builder". Rather, there are so many elite builders with different ideas and styles. And it's just left up to preference after that. Thanks for the very kind comment!!

      My favorite aspect of building in FO76 is the ability to bend the physics in a way that allows us to make creations that are unique. Thank you for the encouraging comment friend!

    This is insane! (in a good way) I can say I've never seen this done before for sure, great tutorial as always 😀

    I'm watching this thinking oh yeah I'm totally gonna try yet i know my lack of patience will result in controller throwing rage quitting. But i love watching these tutorials

      LOL! I think I would be great at puzzles, begat for me, each one of these builds or tutorials are like a puzzle for me. But the kind of puzzle where you can put the pieces anywhere to make something that's entirely unintended.

    I definitely had an idea of how this went after watching lol it is as complex as I expected, but I don't mean that in a bad way at all! Us builders love a good challenge 😁 the fact that you even pursued this speaks to that haha!

    • @MoonlightCowboyGaming
      @MoonlightCowboyGaming  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It definitely has some complexity to it. But you only have to go through the trouble once, as it's blueprintable. It's pretty nuts though, I won't lie LOL

    I made counter tops once with half walls placed like this. The custom floors look sweet. This blueprint is what you need a friend for to help out destroying all the walls. Great work, MC!

      I could see that. I thought about making them into roofs with half walls lol! Glad to see you Piuy!

    Absolutely nothing average about your building skills Moonlight! Master builder is how i describe you when im talking about the things you do! This effect look really good in that build, it must of gobbled up your budget though!?

    • @MoonlightCowboyGaming
      @MoonlightCowboyGaming  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      So once you remove the vines and add a roof or foundation for support, each block of walls costs 5% of your budget. In the showcase I released last week, I used about 7 of those blueprints, but was still able to decorate my camp just fine. I would recommend it for tiny-medium size builds. Thank you for the kind comment mate. Does Master builder also equal OCD builder with a few screws loose? LOL If so, then maybe I count as a master builder.

    • @dazzmead
      @dazzmead หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @MoonlightCowboyGaming not as bad on budget as I thought then, and yes absolutely ocd and minimum 2 screws loose is required for master builder status 🤣🤣

    Once again...proof that Moonlight Cowboy is a Master Builder!!!

      Don't feel bad. Sometimes it makes my head hurt too. I was the kid who got the Lego kits and threw away the instructions LOL!

      @MoonlightCowboyGaming oh Lego is a whole different story lol! I'd probably have a huge following if I did a lego channel. I just love how you stress patience, I need to practice that. I try knocking out a camp in an hour or 2.

      @MoonlightCowboyGaming  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Glad to be of assistance! You only have to go through the process once. Once you blueprint it, you can change it up however you want. Hope you give it a try!

    I find that when micro-adjusting foundations, having your camera pointed towards the structure and instead of moving horizontally, I move the foundation either away from or towards, depending on what I'm trying to achieve, is much easier. I keep a good 45-degree camera angle and push or pull.
    I know that it's preference, but horizontal attempts for me usually wind up out of alignment, typically offset to the side.
    I will give this a try on my next clean build. It looks fantastic in the end.
    How'd you think of this?

    • @MoonlightCowboyGaming
      @MoonlightCowboyGaming  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'll give this a try! I'm always looking for ways to improve on what I'm already doing. That's what I love about the community. People sharing what they know, in order to make the building community better overall. Thanks for this!

    That looks cool, but the cost on the budget... oof.

    • @MoonlightCowboyGaming
      @MoonlightCowboyGaming  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      After the vines are removed and you add the roof or floor for item support, each 'wall foundation' costs 5% budget. For a huge build, that's catastrophic. But for a build with 4-6 foundations, it can make sense. Thanks for checking it out mate!

    Just curious, are you using a controller? I've heard it's sometimes easier to build with one vs mouse and keyboard. If I don't have a controller is this still worth trying?

    • @MoonlightCowboyGaming
      @MoonlightCowboyGaming  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, I use a controller. Many of the PC builders I know tend to use controllers. Especially when building and filming.

    • @rubyfalloutbuilds

      I’m on pc and I recommend using a controller when building. So much easier

    Forgive my complete lack of knowledge. I am just running across some of your videos for the first time. I am in no way ever going to actually try this technique...I get frustrated just trying to do regular floors never mind something like this. However, I have to ask...What was the purpose of the vines? you went through crazy trouble to add them, then go through more trouble to remove them...

    • @MoonlightCowboyGaming
      @MoonlightCowboyGaming  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      For ease of response, I'm going to copy and paste this answer into both comment responses, because the answer is the same for both. The reason for the catwalks and/or vines is because the wall needs to be connected to something that isn't a wall or floor for the purposes of blueprinting.
      Think of it like a plug. Most plugs have two prongs and a ground. So most wall blueprints require two connecting items and a ground item. That item could be nearly any decor item. Once the three items are blueprinted, the "ground item" on the blueprint then becomes the anchor point of the blueprint. Because of the structural way that catwalks and vines snap to walls, they are perfect for this purpose. You can do a similar blueprint using two connected stairposts and a ground item.
      The reason for the mat under the wall is that it works twofold. One, it's the "ground item" of the blueprint. Two, it breaks the connection between the wall and foundation, eliminating any placement errors.
      In summary, here's the plug recipe:
      Prong 1 = Wall
      Prong 2 = Vines or Catwalks
      Ground = Anything except an item that must be snapped to another item in order to be placed.
      With this particular blueprint, the vines are just easier to work with.
