The 4th and ??? conversion thing can be abused if they don't maintain the 4th quarter and trailing requirements. Imagine an offense that just scores and maintains possession for multiple drives just because they won the initial coin toss. NFL rules should work towards rewarding good play for 60 minutes on both sides of the ball.
@@codewriter3000 Yes, but teams go for 3 and 8 a lot and convert regularly. Making it 4th and 8 would be too easy; 4th and 15 offers more of a chance for the defense to stop the offense.

I would like 4th and 8 but on their own 20 yard line. An easier conversion but the stakes are higher.
