Enclosures are a necessary evil, both for practical reasons and because of the law.
What I was thinking watching these videos is that Victoria (?) allows Luna to explore her environment and potentially find herself in a situation where she will have to fall (e.g. climb on a tree). Like in this video she allowed Luna walk on a fence. In other TH-cam channels I have noticed that women are more cautious and fearful, whereas men are more laid back.
It is similar to a dad and a mom. Fathers will allow their children to be in a situation where they may fall and if they fall (and the children don't get hurt) the fathers will start laughing it out. Mothers on the other hand tend to be more cautious and fearful and this may lead them to be more restrictive.
In my opinion neither is bad and both are actually necessary and useful. It is just that parents need to find a balance.
But indeed it is beautiful seeing Luna being that way. Like the time Luna was afraid to come down from where she had climbed. Victoria was saying "I can't help you, you have to get down on your own", having confidence in Luna to do so. Eventually Luna found the courage to jump down.

This ❤️ video is precious. I love how Venza finds these large tree branches and trunks and runs around with them in her mouth. I love ❤️ how Luna stalks Venza and then pounces on her. They are so adorable playing together. Luna tests her skills on some pretty thin branches but she's holding her own. I ❤️ love them both. Thank you for sharing this with all of us followers.

Seeing these videos of Luna small are great. The evolution of the two is satisfying to watch. They rough house but not too rough. Venza gets the better of Luna just putting her in her adolescent place. Then later videos you can see Venza can't so easily push Luna around, yet Luna still shows Venza respect. You have a lovely family and I want to thank you for allowing the rest of us to be a part of it. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

So sweet I didn't know panters can be so sweet, she is just a big cat but not so ferocious as some housecats. My housecat destroys everything you can't imagine it. Thanks to your videos I started to be interested in the Russian language. It's Russian , isn't it. It's a beautiful language but very difficult for us, I'm from Belgium and Dutch speaking, we speak also French and German in Belgium. I heard a video with Russian for beginners and now I know a couple of words. But it will take much time for me to be able to say a sentence.

Venza is one of the best dogs ever! She is such a happy, gentle, fun, kind, loving and confident dog that it seemed like it was easy for her to be the PERFECT sister for Luna. Who would have thought that a Rottweiler would be the perfect playmate for a leopard? I think a BIG reason Luna is such a happy cat is that Venza plays with her and Venza shows Luna a LOT of affection.
This video was absolutely beautiful. Little Luna is so adorable it makes me smile to watch her run around and play with her family.
Dogs can be very therapeutic for other animals, and they are also a good training tool
since they generally understand commands, and the other animal can see and copy
the behavior, especially when it's rewarded behavior, dogs are used regularly in cheetah
training. I agree that Venza is the perfect match here with Luna, both seem very happy.

@@slav2520 - I think Venza was seven years old when Luna was adopted as a kitten. I totally agree that Venza turned out to be the PERFECT sister for Luna, but it was basically just by chance. It makes perfect sense in retrospect though. Venza needed to learn to be gentle and tolerant of Luna, and Venza learned pretty quickly! I think Venza also learned that it was fun to have a playmate Venza could REALLY play with. I also think Venza quickly learned that Luna really liked Venza. Luna groomed Venza when Luna was still a kitten and Venza clearly enjoyed the nice extra attention.
I think that Venza was raised with a LOT of love and attention, so she was already a happy, smart and confident dog when Luna arrived. I think Venza gets a LOT of the credit for teaching Luna to play gently and to be a confident, strong and happy leopard.
