Hi Emma… I am a beginner struggling so much on this topic and there are very few youtube vids dedicated to this. I hope you can discuss this often as you paint compositions. The foreshortening leaves and the ones overlapping over centre ( such as slanted droppy flowers) are the most challenging as they involve layering.

Great floral perspective, also like the procreate simple drawing at the beginning of the video…it helped to map it out as I work painting loose. Thanks!
Ahhh thank you so much! I really struggle with perspective, and the example with the circle at the beginning helped tremendously. I think while I get used to it, I'm going to start with the stamen area first and then work on the petals keeping that "circle" in mind.
