5:40. Ugh, who wants to reach around behind the sub to turn the system off/on and adjust sub levels. The Logitech Z623 puts all that right on a desktop speaker. Most people put a sub this size on their floor next to their PC under a desk. Poor design.
@@00_UU - I actually went with the Arena 7 speakers. The system powers off with the computer (assuming you're using Windows 10 and the USB-C input). I have a Z625 on my upstairs gaming computer that my son uses and I think these speakers/sub sound better. Just personal opinion. I also hate how the Z625 cracks when you adjust the volume. None of that on my Arena's.
@@00_UU No, these DO have optical input (as well as USB & Bluetooth which Logitech does not have) and are a better set with better sounds as they have 3.5" drivers w/ 1" tweeters vs 2.5" drivers on the Z623/625 without separate tweeters. Nevermind the fact that you can angle the Arena speakers how you'd like them and the RGB is a little better imo as well. Plus Steelseries' software is more robust and has more options to tweak the sound from what I can tell. Then you add in the addition of USB and Bluetooth in addition to optical & 3.5mm and the Arena 7 are the clear winners
@@jamesw657 I was talking about Z623 not having optical and Z625 sounding way better than Z623 using optical input. I bought both of them and kept Z625. As far as Arena 7 goes, I just returned them. Their tweeters do sound cleaner than Z625, I was comparing them side-by-side. But Arena 7 speakers sound extremely directional and lack soundstage, audio sounds very narrow, they remind me of a cheaper soundbar. Arena 7 subwoofer sounds bland and hits the floor hard, but I cannot feel it, even though I turned it on all sides to make sure I am not missing proper bass direction. Yes, RGB lights look great on Arena 7, but audio quality is my top priority, so I kept my good old Z625. No one beats them so far for the price.
Great review! Just out of curiosity, is it worth switching from the audioengine a2+ to these? I had the logitech g560's in the past but they were too bass heavy to really enjoy them.
There are no info regarding RMS power of this speaker. I found the woofer is 60W RMS on FCC website. But couldn't find any info on satellites. I can only make am educated guess that arena 3 speaker only has 1 driver but it's slightly bigger than arena 7 satellite driver. Arena 3 has 15w satellites, info from FCC website. I think that would make 12w for the big driver and 3W for the small driver on arena 7 which makes in total 15w RMS just by going size. 60w woofer 2*15w satellites in total 90w RMS for the whole set.
looks so cheap, they haven't posted what wattage is speakers lol, I suggest they have no idea, china made it and forgot about that :D buy something S360DB
That's for the Arena 9, which is 5.1. I wouldn't recommend the 5.1 as it can't do real surround sound since it doesn't decode Dolby surround modes. If you want 5.1 surround you're better off going with something like the $350-400 Vizio M512h6 which is a 5.1.2 Atmos system meant for a TV. If you want PC speakers I would just go with the 2.1 channel Arena 7 speakers for $230-250 when on sale.
@@KuyaArbee no issues for me. I had a buzzing issue, but not anymore after I upgraded to Z790 motherboard. Build quality? Who cares? It works great and I don’t touch it.
The speakers are awesome! The sound is amazing!
The RGB lighting is also really handy
Glad you like it

Z625 is at least two times better because of its optical input. Absolutely amazing clarity and power for the price.

@@RagnarBlox great to hear. I was looking to update Z625 since they are now 6 years old. I will check out Arena 7.

Would you say these are an upgrade over the Logitech G560?
Can I ask can this connect to pc, ps5 and Xbox at the same time?
Dude, help me, What's the length of the cable connecting the speaker to the subwoofer?
Do these speakers go into standby mode if no signal is sent to them for some time?
Find an answer? Hate when my pc sprakers go dead silent during quieter times in games
Trying to decide between these and the Razer Leviathan V2. Which would you recommend in general?
Hmmm tough. I think I preferred the Leviathan V2. I am going to review the new model of that at some point soon
RGB was invented to make every product more energy efficient. 🙂
🤣
Question: are the speaker cables long enough to support a stand up desk if sub is on the floor?
depends on how far apart you want them
now that i think about it, this is the same price as my presonus 3.5 and a sub8 subwoofer. around the same size as well.
how to off bluetooth???
Just ordered mine today (250€), thanks for your video

Get the logitechs that are thx certified. I loved mine. They just died, and now I want change. Currently testing a Sony ht-s400 sound bar
Will these work with my tv
Along as you tv has an auxiliary out or and optical (SPDIF) out
The cable is annoyingly thick on the speakers
Where is the arean 3 review? 🤔
how much is difference sound quality between this and razer pro nommo thanks which you prefer
Well the Nommo pro is like $250-300 more lol. I don't think the Nommo pro is worth double the price personally.

Logitech Z625 with optical cable still sounds much better overall. I just compared Arena 7 and Z625 side-by-side.
but the Z625 has a horrible build quality and also issue with buzzing with the speakers... lots of resonance issues

Finally some competition to the Logitech G560
True
Will it work with xbox series X?
Yes, you can connect them right to your TV or monitor

Not even one sound from these speaker. So useless.
Clearly didn't watch it all...

I don't think I know a single person that uses desk speakers, let alone RGB ones
I have the Bose Companion 20's on my PC, absolutely brilliant...
What good desk setup doesn't have speakers??
Why is it so hard to find arena 9 review lol is it overkill? I just got it for 50% off
