    The Plus has high pass filters on the Left and Right 2" Speakers, and low pass filters on the sub. Giving it a much cleaner sound vs any of its siblings. The rest are trying to play all frequencies through 2" and 2.25" speakers.

    Positing this on all Pebble Pro reviews: Just a heads up to any potential buyers, but it seems the Pebble V3 and Pro variants (not sure about other versions) have an issue where the Pebble will reboot itself randomly if connected to your computer/dock via USB-A. Seems the problem does not persist if you use USB-C to USB-C. Seems like there's no fix either. Just a quirk I thought I'd like to mention here.

    I got two of these.
    Snipped the passive speakers on both off.
    Shortened the cables of the two off.
    Bought those nintendo switch lite powerbanks and glued the speaker onto it.
    Plugged the USB plugs onto the powerbank.
    Then I got those TRN BT20XS which turns your IEMs into TWS earphones. Snipped the cable off of that and terminated it into a 3.5mm female.
    3d printed a holder for the TWS adapters and stuck it on the powerbank.
    Plugged the pebble's 3.5mm jacks onto the TWS adapter's 3.5mm female socket and voila!
    TWS Pebbles!

    Beyond the sound it should be noted that the Pebble V3 has a short cable between the two speakers. If you have a small desk or have it right next to the laptop like it is shown in the video then its fine. But if you have a normal desk, or a larger desk get the Pro which has a longer cord. I think it would have been better if they allowed us to swap out the able so that we can extend the length. I have a Pebble v3 on 140cm desk and they are waaay too short.

    good video. I bought Pebble V1 a couple months ago for a bargain and I love it. for a total 5 watt usb 2.0 powered speaker they're sound amazing and there's no usb 2.0 powered speaker that can compete with it. I paired it with Boom3D app and it sounds surprisingly great for moviewatching. the only downside is it lacks bluetooth features, so I bought a decent bluetooth receiver and soldered it to my pebble and I'm pretty happy with the results.

    I might be developing a habit of watching video reviews of speakers I'm not even interested in purchasing, purely to find what kind of music is used to test them. This is the second time I'm finding a nice song from such a video. Thanks, Your Touch by Particle House is very nice to listen to.
    To talk about the video itself, I just placed an order for the Pebble 2.0. My wife isn't some kind of high fidelity enthusiast, she just needs some cheap speakers since the monitor she's using doesn't have speakers. Hopefully they work fine, can't beat CAD $32.99. Owning both the Pebble Plus and Pebble Pro, I have to say, the Plus sound the best, especially being connected to the headphone jack of my Alienware M18R1. Unfortunately, it's this exact reason I decided to purchase the Pebble Pro. The USB-C is so much cleaner and the cord connecting both speakers is much longer, which makes cable management that much easier. I wish the Pro came in black like the Plus, but for whatever reason, Creative Labs decided to change things up by going with the dark green. Most of the time I'm using my computer at night to game, so the color doesn't bother me. Maybe someday I'll mask them off and spray them with a black matte plastic paint..
    Thanks for reviewing the whole line-up! For under $60, and as low as $17 on sale, any of the Pebble line is hard to beat.

    If you want the most out of the Pebble Pro, you have to hook them to a 30w power brick. Its gives you 30W RMS instead of the normal 20W RMS using under a 30w brick. They blow out every Pebble on the market when using them properly. Yes the green color is annoying, but they tend to blend in and don't look green when placed in a good spot. The only bluetooth speaker I found to be better than the Pebble Pro's is the Marshall Pemberton as far as loudness and bass go.
    But the Pebble Pro's make everything sound more natural. And you can turn off the RGB lighting but holding down the RGB button.

    My computer has a pretty crappy built-in sound card. Does that come into play when using the 3.5mm jack for the V1 Pebble, or does it have an on-board solution to fix that?

      @DVZNMedia  ปีที่แล้ว

      These are powered so they should still provide more than enough sound despite your on-board audio card

    I really appreciate this review. If I can give any feedback, it's a little difficult to gauge how good the speakers are when the conclusion comes with, "At this price, I can't complain". How do they compare with others at a similar price or even those slightly more expensive? Should people spend a little more and get others? If the only good thing about the speakers is the price, they'd hardly be worth considering. Thank you for the video though.

    Okay so love the video! So after scouring the internet and amazon I found the Pebble v1 which im interested in and then amazon algorithm showed me Logitech z120. I saw the z120 had a 4.7 rating out from 2,080 reviews while Pebbles had a 4.6 out from 62,413 reviews. Seems like the z120 is being only marketed internationally except for the US but it is available for purchase for $25 on amazon. Z120 has a total output of 5w vs the pebble at 4.4w. Could you do a comparison video of these two out of curiosity! Would love to see your impression of it and thoughts. Which one is better?

    For the best listening experience, better than headphones in my opinion, so you can actually feel with your whole body not just your ears, is having quality creative computer speakers already :) I've done these comparisons so many times, and my creative T40 computer speakers do a much better job at providing the true-sound than my $300 sennheizer headphones.

    This video came right when I'm hoping someone should be making it.
    I'm confused between Pebble v3 & Pebble plus (they are priced very similar at my place-India) I am looking for good speakers that could serve my video editing purpose, so Dialogue & music are priority for me. Should I go for the bass option or the V3. I want to know how the pebble plus sounds without subwoofer- the quality is good enough? Thank you in advance.

    • @DVZNMedia
      @DVZNMedia  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I think if you don't care about the sub woofer then the v3 is the option, because without the sub they sound pretty similar

      Thank you bro :) I was concerned about the sound quality of pebble plus without sub woofer, I do want the subwoofer flexibility for the low frequencies. If it doesn't hurt sound quality, i would like to go with Pebble plus. Thank you for the quick reply, new sub here- keep making the great content.@@DVZNMedia
