    Thanks for your round the clock live coverage, which was dangerous . But you still did that successfully. I followed most of it, along with other news networks. Hope all's well & settling down. Best regards.

      I hope by the end of the year they will be almost back to normal. Businesses in Key Largo are starting to open already. Other places like the Tiki Bar are gone

    Wow, great video. I live in Westchester now, but used to live at 416 NW 35th Ave, which seems to be close to you from watching the video.

      +Average Campers' Adventures Thank you. We're good. Lots of people still without power. They still haven't picked up the fallen trees...and we still have no internet.

    You summed up very well how nature takes back what's been stolen during extreme weather, i.e. swamp areas.

    Good coverage Robert. Do you listen to Alvarez Guedes comedy skits? I love the skits about hurricanes. Also, the tree in front of your house we call it Flamboyan in Puerto Rico.

    • @TravelingRobert
      @TravelingRobert  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Crurned Travels and Other Stories Yes, I like Alvarez Gedes too, I've listened to his skits this week, and we call it Flamboyan in Cuba too.

    I can't imagine how it was for the coast line of Cuba as Irma stayed a cat 5 while the eye raked across the coast ( While still over water) and those tiny islands? along Cuba's coast. The Virgin islands (US & British) look devastated..

    • @TravelingRobert
      @TravelingRobert  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Luckily not many people live in those tiny islands north of Cuba, mostly beach resorts, and yeah, the Virgin Islands, St. Maarten, Barbuda... very sad

    Great video. I appreciate your sarcasm too. Lol😂 your reporting was so much more accurate than the MSM's "dooms day run for he hills or die!!!!! " reporting that they were pushing for most of Southern Florida's residents . My dad lives very near to the ocean in Tarpon Springs in a trailer home, no flooding or damage other than tree branches, but still without power as of right now. Glad youre ok Earth Ex2017🤔

      Well you know it is all fake news :-) We weathered the storm fine. The lower keys is the only real "disaster area"

    hey bud, still no power up where I am at. I wish we had those 20mph winds now, it's very hot inside -- no power, no generator-- as of yet. I ordered 1 Wed -- put a rush 2 day shipping on it. from what I am gathering Duke energy is hitting the major populated outages instead of working on places with a few homes

    • @TravelingRobert
      @TravelingRobert  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey my next door neighbors don't have power yet either... and it doesn't get much more populated than this. I don't know what's taking them so long

    I know Hurricane Ian ruined people’s crap and all but Irma killed the interior of the state worse to me. Irma was a beast and she was relentless. And I’ve been thru the 2004 season.

    The eye of the storm closest moment was 104 miles from Miami, and looks like pass over Miami, why our authorities are so alarmist and unprepared at the same time ? after 5 days in my neighborhood still without electricity and nothing happen here ,nothing !!! Some tree branchs on the street because the wind of 50 mph ., looks like we don't learn from past storms specially Andrew .

    • @TravelingRobert
      @TravelingRobert  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Miami Eyes They haven't even come to pick up the branches. Streets are still blocked, and all the FPL trucks are parked at the Magic City Casino
