Life in the UK Test: do you need to revise? #lifeintheuktest If so, this video series covers everything you need to know to pass the test. I go through the official UK Life in the UK handbook (3rd edition) on the UK citizenship test, and the 3rd edition Life in the UK book, and highlight what you need to know. OK so in this video we're going to cover the Middle Ages, which is part of Chapter 4 of the official government guide to the Life in the UK test. I'm going to deal with the points people struggle with. If you stay to the end of this video, I'm going to cover example questions from the Life in the UK tests on this topic, including some of the more tricky ones.
Before we get to the example questions in the Life in the UK test for British citizenship, let's go over together the relevant section of the official guide. This sets out what the UK government expects you to know for the Life in the UK test in 2023 regarding the Middle Agres.

Hello Mr. Bradford. Im going to apply for ILR this coming May 2019. Is it okay to take the Life in the UK test as early as October this year?
I'm sure you've already received an answer by now, but the CAB advised me to pass the test before applying as there is a section on the ILR Visa that asks if you've passed your citizenship test.

Despite the Life in the UK test being technically unlimited, the reality is that it may not be valid indefinitely as per governmental policies in place. That said, it has not been replaced by a new test as of now. Hope this helps!
