14:33 WHAT?! LOL I had the same logic in my mind. Picked the same answer. And the same reaction! Totally twisted answers-options were giving by test "specialists". APPRECIATE your sense of humor John.😀👍
great video... but actually the REAL test is easier ;) ... online mock tests and practice tests are harder than the real test... I know from experience... and if you do 100 online tests you will surely pass the exam... i know this also for experience :)
Because I had looked at several "exam preperation" sites during research, to prevent me from cheating, some developers built this into a PPS file designed for the video. They took the questions from various official web sites so I had no idea which questions were coming or recognised the mutliple choice answers. They really did not want me to have any edge.
@@bhatti00007 I hope you ace it. Trust me, you will know more about the United Kingdom than most citizens here. :-) I will be sending good vibes for you on the day.
Each site that sells these quizzes, only has a set selection of questions, but the questions came randomly from 8 web sites. My team customised the quiz for me, so that I could not know what the questions were as we recorded.
According to research by Essex University, 66% of UK born citizens out of the 270 they tested failed.... Seems a bit mean to expect new arrivals to know more about the UK's history, politics & culture than natives, especially considering the pass rate for new citizens is 82%...Brits, thick or what?
I agree 100%.Why should prospective citizens need to know the complete history of the UK when itis not relevant, and a large percentage of current citizens don't knoew it either.
I was born in Jamaica but have lived in the UK since I was 3. Even though the king is the head of state of Jamaica I still had to take this dumb test and pay £1,333 to apply for citizenship. Did the application 3 months ago and still haven't heard anything back from them. You would think after paying that much you'd get a faster service 😒
Hi can I just ask if anyone knows if there is a disk that you can use on a laptop to click and test yourself like practice exam? Not just the usual questions and answers read out. Thanks everyone
I am not aware of any "offline" tests. It is far more convenient nowadays to tests online rather than expect users to have a particular type of device and operating system in order to download and run a test. The number of questions they provide would be a huge amount of disk space. Online tests can also present you with a random selection from a huge bank of questions so your experience with the quiz is new each time. "Practice tests" do not provide the same random question experience but are completely free. The lifeintheuktest.uk has an online practice test and that does not ask you for your personal information. Link: lifeintheuktest.uk/
So much history and politics. Important questions are things like "what is a Jammy dodger" and "what goes on a scone first, Jam or cream?"
Thanks Min, I'll add those question to my list. I think I'll do my own "Life in the UK test" quiz and see how people get on.
Very lovely of you to do this test. I'm from Thailand.
I was pass today.
I had to study very hard for a month.
Congratulations to you. That is great news.
@@JohnDayQA thank you
I would bet all my savings that the prime minister won't pass either...
Which Prime Minister, this weeks, or last weeks? LOL...
We failed together, cos I chose the same ones as you lol
Right I’m deported too. Got a few you didn’t but man I’m glad I’m not applying.

True agree 100% Most of it isnt relevant!

This is just irritating task to do
I don't give a f'''k about what happened in 15th or 18th century
I am busy to put food on table like everyone
Quite right and totally unrelated to your everyday living which is far more important than how many wives did Henry VIII behead?
