For the embryo to implant on the wall of the uterus it develops something called syncytiotrophoblast, this helps it to attach to the uterine wall. I described the syncytiotrophoblast as finger-like projection inorder to make the explanation simple.

Wow this is really what I need to know cos I’ve experienced this implantation bleeding before and I thought it was my period very light and pinky later on i fell sick did a pt it came out negative so I started taking typhoid and anti malaria medicine that made me loose my preggy at 5weeks. I wish I’ve known 😢
