One show I remember enjoying but didn’t last long at all (maybe only one season, if that) was The San Pedro Beach Bums, It might even have been a summer replacement series. The only thing I remember clearly about it is that one of the characters’ tag lines, spoken rather often as I recall, was “Football, you bet!” If possible, I’d love to see an episode featuring this series, to refresh my fond memories with even more detail.

Great video! Saturday mornings in the 70's was so special. I could watch cool shows until about noon (i think American Bandstand came on then). Afterward it was enough TV and outside to ride bikes, play games, go to t he store, or just find something fun with friends. So sad our kids/grandkids will never experience that.
As someone who grew up in the 70s, Saturday morning TV rocked. And Land of the Lost was one of my favorites. I did not realize until watching this video of the many connections to Star Trek. Very cool. Thanks for doing this video!
Loved the show as a kid in the 70s. Back when Saturday morning shows meant something to kids. Anyone remember the Friday Fall Preview Show of all the new shows coming out Saturday morning?

I met Kathy back in the mid 80s in Nevada when I was in my late teens, her last name was Bell back then. I had no idea that she was "Holly" from LoTL. We met through band members that my friend and I use to hang out with. She was a sweetheart, very warm and personable, absolutely no pretense at all, just really down to Earth. From the first time meeting her and hanging out with her at her house I felt like I should know her, but couldn't figure out why I felt like that. She only mentioned that she had done some acting in the past, nothing else. We were sitting on her couch one day looking through her photo albums. Just normal kinds of photos in them, but then, all the sudden there are back yard BBQ pics with famous people popping up in the background just sort of incidentally, people like John Travolta, Adam Rich (8 Is Enough) and a bunch of other famous people that you'd know by sight but not their names. Then there were movie set photographs and their were characters from LoTL... then Kathy (sitting next to me) says to me "that's me... I was Holly". What????? THAT'S why she seemed so familiar to me! I grew up watching LoTL. It was surreal, suddenly I'm not sitting shoulder to shoulder with Kathy, I'm sitting shoulder to shoulder with "Holly". She had so many great photos and stories about that time of her life. We talked for hours about it. Adam Rich called one time we were at her house and was thinking about flying out but later had to cancel. It was strange, but then again it wasn't. It just was. We really only hung out for a summer, we swam at her house, partied, and occasionally we ran into each other at other local events. I dated her sister Colleen for a short time... we hung out a few more times at her place. Later, one of my best friends who was a band member was killed in a motorcycle accident and we saw Kathy at his funeral. After that, we just lost track of her. It will always be a good memory having met her and getting to know her - she really is a good person and I wish her the very best.
I’m actually a 50 something year old guy that moved to Pahrump Nevada from Southern Ca. 15 years ago… I don’t remember how long ago it was exactly, but I was out at a nightclub in Pahrump and met a twenty something year old guy who later in the conversation mentioned he was Kathy’s real life grandson. He brought up the Show, it was fun reminiscing with him about Land of the Lost. I remember he had a lot of interesting stories to tell about Kathy and the show which I’ve unfortunately forgotten. I never saw him again.
I was born in 73' but I remember watching this show in the late 70's. Reruns I would imagine. Being 7 years old, I loved this show. My 2 sisters and I used to sing the opening song every time it was on. Talk about a walk down memory lane. Thank you!
This was my favorite show on Saturday mornings when I was a kid. Still holds up today. It's got that classic cheap sci-fi special effects that are so endearing. The same as with old Dr. Who. shows.
I lived for this show when I was a kid. I was almost 6 when it began and turned 8 a month after it ended. I'll bet it's the first show that had me counting down the days until Saturday. I wanted to be Holly so bad. I wanted the adventurous engaged dad, an awesome brother and a ChaKa. Can we just go back to 1974? Thanks for making this revisit.
I was 8 years old when OG Land of the Lost was running and Sleestacks scared the ever living heck out of me. I was terrified of them. The show had an extremely similar vibe to that of Tom Baker era Doctor Who - which my brother and I absolutely loved. The Sid and Marty Kroft Land of the Lost was campy, low budget, and scary in a way the 90's reboot just paled to by comparison. Great show.
The TARDIS would look right at home materializing in the Lost Ciry or near a pylon! There has got to be a story with the good Doctor traipsing around the Land of the Lost out there somewhere. Hmmm... 🤔😉☮️
I remember this show. My mom mentioned that she had watched it as a kid, and i decided to check it out on vhs in the early 90s.(I was a kid) I honestly loved it. I had forgotten about it till just now.
I never left the house on Saturday mornings until I'd seen "Land of the Lost". When it came out, my wife got me the DVD set for my birthday. I binge-watched them for days! And, as an adult now, I understood more and developed some theories about what was happening and why, trying to follow some of the bread crumbs. Thank you, and thank you to Will and Holley and Chaka , for this wonderful video.
I am fortunate enough to have been a child to enjoy amazing adventures like this in the 70's. Trek (in syndication) and of course Land of the Lost. A time when we used our imaginations and played with toys rather than keep them in the packages. Awesome video. Wesley Eure and Barry Williams were separated at birth right?
I was a teenager in the 1970s rather than a child per se but enjoyed those shows myself all the same. And holy cow Eure and Williams did look a lot alike at that, didn't they? I never noticed, but now I can't unsee it! 😁
Great video! I think entertainment is devolving, just like the sleestaks.... and this makes the older stuff look so much better. I can't believe LotL isn't streaming anywhere.
Thank you! This was a blast from my past. I had no idea some of my favorite writers were involved with that show. Kathy Coleman's lovely smile has not changed.
Never missed this show on Saturday mornings! I was around 7 or 8, and had a big crush on Wes and doubt I was the only one, lol. How nice to see the actors involved and appreciative of their fans. Great interview!
Loved this show as a kid. Being 51 now this goes to show you how much age and modern special effects can change your perception. As a little kid this looked so real. Looking at it now I cant believe how campy it looks. But they dod a good job give. The days technology. And a lot of people remember it with fondness.
As a major fan of land of the lost and the moderator of the r/LandOfTheLost Subreddit, thank you for making such a high quality video about the show we all love ❤️
@@JessicaDwyer that’s awesome! I asked on the post on my subreddit if it would be possible for the full length interviews, unedited, to be posted somewhere
Never missed an episode when the show originally aired. Fantastic for it's time and the time travel plots were very involved and deep. Not your usual kid show. Being chased through the jungle by a T-Rex while banjo music was playing was a definite Kroft touch.
LOTL was one of my favorite shows in the 70s on Saturday mornings. About 12 yrs old. A buddy would call to go out and play but not until after the show.
I was super young when Land of the Lost came out, but I can still remember talking about it with my friends. Wow, we couldn't have been more than four years old. To this day, the Sleestaks scare the hell out of me. Great show. Thanks for the memories.
I and my sister and brother 5yrs them 4 yrs the sleestack scared us as well that hissing creepy but masketron from the six million dollar man was even scarier 😅😂
I was born in 1970. To this day, I don't recall ever being so excited as the intro to Land of the Lost, nor did I ever see hair I liked better than Holly's. Just bought the complete 3-year series on DVD. Thanks for this.
I was around 9 when this aired and watched it every Saturday morning. I had a crush on Holly and thought Will was a cool brother, because i never had one. Im glad they are still getting recognized and are still involved with the show. "Marshall, Will and Holly...on a routine expedition ..." (?)
My Saturday mornings in the 70s often included Sid and Marty Croft shows. I always liked this show and felt that there was a depth to it that often went unnoticed to a lot of kids. Thanks for taking the time to make this video!
Hands down, my favorite show of all as a kid. We were so blessed to experience these masterpieces of children's television that inspired our imaginations. Also, was a big Harryhausen fan - so this show was such a weekly gift!!!
Yeah, I remember this show It was heavy and deep, the backstory and explanation for it, as it continued season after season, the explanation for where they were, and who and what the reptilian humanoid aliens were sort of like Star Trek. It was a sci-fi soap opera.
Lotta Trek writers/production staff got this show more than one Emmy. When I saw Dopey during this...that little boy who watched the show was looking at a long lost friend. (no pun internded)
The show was weird and deep, but with relatable characters and scary monsters. I was drawn in as a kid by the dinos, but the weird SF stuff kept it compelling, and challenged my young mind in a good way.
Thanks for doing such a detailed background on the show. I grew up watching this on Saturday mornings with my brothers and sister. They had some really good shows on Saturday mornings back then. The 70s is a pretty magical time and Sid & Marty Croft pretty much ruled Saturday morning shows.
Wow thanks so much for putting this together. I loved this show as a kid! At 55 years old now, I still think Sleestaks are the most terrifying thing ever lol. That hissing noise. Terrifying!
Wow, that Chaka interview is amazing! He has truly mastered english! But of course he would, since it's been like 50 years. 🙃😁 Seriously, this is a terrific and comprehensive piece!
So, women secretly love creeps even though they complain about them? I guess they're kind of like the "town floozy" in the movie, High Plains Drifter who seems to love and hate Clint Eastwood's character at the same time and even tries to shoot him.
Saturday morning was not complete without watching LOTL, and for a Saturday morning kid's show, they touched on some mind boggling concepts with great writing, it was amazing...
I remember playing in the yard and my mom calling for me to come inside and watch the trailers of the new upcoming season’s shows. They showed a “teaser” of “Land of the Lost” and I was hooked! I couldn’t wait for the first episode. I kept asking when it was going to air. Well that Saturday showed up and I was not disappointed. I watched every episode until the series ended. Probably my favorite show of my childhood.
Man, I loved this as a kid, I couldn't remember what it was called for years until some vague memories spawned a series of online searches that reconnected me with this show.
Yeah. I did like the finale's solution to the whole mess. They had to arrange the original incident that brought them to the LotL in the first place to leave. And no wonder. The sad fact is that they would have died plunging a thousand feet like that. (Incidentally, there was a short story titled, _By His Bootstraps_ that had a man hauled in through time and space, a man that spent many years seeking the dude that did it... only to become the man that did it as a result.
This show was so influential to my life and I owe it my love of puppets and stop motion animation. As you said, it didn't treat us like stupid kids. We were 60s and 70s kids and we were smarter and more street-wise than we had any right to be and we did things that would give most parents a panic attack today. Every day was an adventure with something new to explore. Such an iconic show and IMO nothing even came close until Star Wars hit the screen in 77. Great ep man but let's never speak of the remake or movie ever again 😂
I'm 55 so I remember very well watching Land of the Lost on Saturday mornings. The special effects at that time were pretty good and I loved dinosaurs so it was a really entertaining show. I named my intramural basketball team in college the "Sleestak Attack" and everybody always got a good laugh about it. I actually still have the jersey and wear it sometimes to the gym to workout. People have no idea what the hell a sleestak is. Funny I had always thought that Clint Howard played Chaka.
I remember watching reruns of this show when I was a kid and realized there was something special about it; mostly that it didn't seem like a kid's show because it dealt with some more heady and serious topics. It looked a little too low-budget sometimes, but it got my imagination going. I also was around when the reboot series aired, and it was...not as good, even if it tried to look better. Actually, the 70's Land of the Lost reminded me a lot of classic Doctor Who, which my family was also watching when it was airing on PBS. Similar budget, and story treatments, if I'm being honest.
“Land of the Lost” was definitely a favorite! Still have the lunchbox! Another fantastic episode! Love this series so much! Great to relive classic shows and be reminded of some missed throughout childhood. Any chance of a “Fall Guy” episode? Keep up,the great work!
I do not remember “The Fall Guy” doing Halloween episodes, but I have not watched it since I was a child (when it originally aired). Just remember loving it! I will have to revisit it, after Quantum Leap, and then Magnum PI. Both of which I did not watch, but so glad I was reminded of, thanks to you! Modern TV has so much to learn from these shows, as they are just plain fun and entertaining! Thank you so much for bringing these shows back to life and introducing them to new generations!
I was ten years old when this first went on the air, and I watched every Saturday until it went OFF the air. I loved this show so much that to this day I call my home broadband network LAN of the Lost ... 🤣
I remember watching this show as a kid. I always looked forward every week to watching new episodes. It was never lost on me that this show was kind of out there, but thats what I loved about it. Its the same reason i loved Godzilla growing up.
Haha -- yeah! Star Trek, Star Wars, Land of the Lost, and Godzilla. Those were my favorites until the 80s rolled around and new shows captured my youthful attention.
Man. I never got into the show because it was usually shown later in the morning when I was growing up. I remember catching it every now and then but now i want to dive into it. What a great video to have the interviews with the actors as well. Kudos to you guys. Funny how you guys said it was dark with the theory that they're dead. IJust watching the clips you can tell the show has a charm with it's stop motion and compositing. Similar to that other LOST show.... Don't go chasing waterfalls.
Nice History on a fun show to watch as a kid ...Would've been cool if you could've got one of the Sleestaks like an unknown ..(Bill Laimbeer-Detroit Pistons) Not too many know that Laimbeer played a Sleestak on the children's TV series Land of the Lost before attending Notre Dame. He was a Palos Verdes High School student, and the Land of the Lost show solicited their basketball team for tall people to play Sleestaks! How Cool Was That !!! 😱
I was a huge fan of this series!! At the time I was totally addicted, and ever since it gave me just the best memories. I’m so happy it came out. Thank you for this great history, and also to see the actors today. 🥰
It's just so unfortunate that the show never received a proper ending. Imagine the dad having no clue what happened to his children. He made it back, but then what? Is he even alive on the other side? If so, did he get arrested by the police as a suspect in the disappearance of his children two years ago? Did he lose his mind over not knowing what happened to his kids? Did he make the mistake of telling everyone where they have been the last two years, and get locked away in a mental asylum?
If you go online, you can find some good fan fiction that gives the show some closure. There are some good writers that would have made the show proud.
I grew up in the 70s and 80s. I loved watching this show. It was in syndication by the time I was watching it. I’ve always loved Sci-Fi and this was one of the first shows I watched.
No it doesn't. It was as forgettable as described. Bigger budget, shot on film, but terrible acting, writing, and wasted special effects. The Slestak had scarier looking costumes, but they were un-scary, stupid, bumbling, keystone cops. The show was completely vapid and soulless. And forgettable.
Having grown up in the 70's, Land of the Lost was a big part of my Saturday morning as a kid. I thought Holly was really cute! I can now see the STAR TREK connection in the sets and storyline. Thank you so much for this short inside look!!
Thank you for making this amazing nostalgic video. First to the actors... You were really great, all of you! One thing I learned from watching this video was how many amazing authors were involved in the writing... Ben Bova, Larry Niven... some of my favorite books as a child came from these authors... amazing stuff.
Man you just don’t know how much I loved Land Of The Lost. To this day I remember the Theme song by heart and many of the episodes mentioned I remember but I had no idea about the rich history of this show. All I knew was it had great action packed and sometimes scary stories. I remember a few when they’d mess with the Crystals in the Time pylon and if i remember didn’t they also have a weather Pylon as well? Then I especially remember when they implied they died when they came down the falls because they witnessed themselves entering the Land of The lost and I remember also during that last episode literally as soon as they escaped the land of the lost, they fired up the opening intro with the theme song, and they came right back. Brilliant! I definitely need to find the DVD’s. I was born in 1974 so I never saw it on NBC as a stand-alone show, but on Kroft Superstars on KCOP channel 13 in Los Angeles. Thanks for this video because I’ve told my Friend about this show and you confirmed certain plot points I told them about but wasn’t 100% I remembered correctly but I did.
Land of the Lost was an important part of my childhood. For one thing, it was one of my earliest exposures to Sci-Fi in general, and to this day SF is my favored genre of storytelling. Also, you couldn't help but feel part of the family, and I looked up to each of the cast as companions I felt for. Speaking of feelings, I was about the same age as Holly, and although I didn't understand what it was or what to call it, I look back and now I understand that my first ever crush was on Holly. I loved those blonde pigtails, haha! Also, Enoch (I always thought it was Enick...?) was one of my favorite parts of the show. And the stories - for a kid's show, the stories were quite intellectual at times. Some of them almost disturbingly dark, but never too much so. But enough that some of those stories were scary. It was just a great show! Finally -- if you haven't already seen the DVD set, I HIGLY RECOMMEND them, not even for the episodes, but for all the awesome extra content, including LOTS of cast interviews and commentary, mostly from Wesly and Kathy themselves. It was absolutely heartwarming to kind of get to know them as people after all these years, by watching their interviews and seeing their interactions and laughter together. They obviously still care deeply about each other. Thus, the show still has lessons to teach us today - how good friendship can carry love forward through our entire lives. =)
As a child of the 1970s this was my favorite Saturday morning show. The Sleestaks and Grumpy were definitely scary and kept this kid on the edge of his seat.
This is fantastic 🎉 Not just a blast from the past. Loved all the BTS info, cast interviews, and attention to the details of the show. Thanks to all evolved. Much appreciated 👍🏿👍🏿
I vaguely remember a few episodes of the 90s version of the show as a kid. In particular, there was this one image of a volcano with neon green lava that for some reason really stuck with me over the years.
The '90s version definitely deserves more love. I definitely remember it, as for years, this was Land of the Lost, to me. I had no idea of the existence of the original series, until i saw it on I Love the Seventies, & was shocked to discover that the version i'd grown up with, was a reboot! The '90s version definitely deserves to be made available, though, as well.
I absolutely loved this show when I was growing up especially the crystal pedestals that controlled certain things. The movie however while entertaining did not have the same pizazz. Still watched it. It (the movie) had elements in it that were quite profound. Thank you for covering this.
I was 4 or 5 when I first saw LOTL. Loved it every Saturday it was on. Strangely, even so far from then at my age of 51, it saddens me to hear they never escaped, but remained 'stuck in a time loop' indefinitely. Even sadder to hear the idea this only briefly touched on, that they had all drowned when they went over the waterfall. Somehow, even despite that melancholy, it seems the only fitting ending for them, that such strange ideas and events might have been created by any one of their minds in the last moment of life. But as a very young child, Holly was always my connection to that land, to those strange and fantastic phenomena, and part of my soul finds rest knowing now what I do. Thank you for making this. Somewhere, that little child I was finally feels peace toward these people I've loved and carried in my heart so very long.
The Land of the Lost will hold such a special place in my heart. Reading Rainbow, Read All About IT, and the likes are my favorite childhood memories ❤

Who. shows.
7 year old me loved this show! Land Of The Lost, Classic Star Trek, and Space 1999 were my original must see TV!
I saw it in 80s re-runs
When I get hungry, from tine to time I will tell my wife, "Chaka! Chaka! Chaka want food!" Never gets old. :)
Me, too! I'm so happy to see so many of us children of the 70s coming together around this show! 😊
Ditto 😎👍
Let's build a new version of a time machine 😂😂😅🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🔄🔁🇨🇱🕓🕟🕔🕠⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡🌀🌀🌀🌀🌀🌀☄☄☄☄☄🌝🌞
Hmmm... 🤔😉☮️
Same, those Sleestacks were scary.
Me to
Sleestaks versus Silurians (the original kind) would be a cool image.
I remember this show. My mom mentioned that she had watched it as a kid, and i decided to check it out on vhs in the early 90s.(I was a kid) I honestly loved it. I had forgotten about it till just now.
This show actually had sophisticated plot line. Time travel, different dimension, cool monsters, and funny acting.
Right? They could be twins!
I was a teenager in the 1970s rather than a child per se but enjoyed those shows myself all the same.
And holy cow Eure and Williams did look a lot alike at that, didn't they? I never noticed, but now I can't unsee it! 😁
Me, too!
Even now, there still seems to be a strong resemblance.
Great video!
I think entertainment is devolving, just like the sleestaks.... and this makes the older stuff look so much better. I can't believe LotL isn't streaming anywhere.
Thank you for putting this video together!
It was quite a trip down memory lane.
Was a Saturday morning staple back in the day. Must have been fun writing the Sleestak dialogue."SSSSSSSSSSSSssss!"
Loved this show as a kid.
Being 51 now this goes to show you how much age and modern special effects can change your perception.
As a little kid this looked so real.
Looking at it now I cant believe how campy it looks.
But they dod a good job give. The days technology. And a lot of people remember it with fondness.
These shows opened our imagination. We were lucky!
As a major fan of land of the lost and the moderator of the r/LandOfTheLost Subreddit, thank you for making such a high quality video about the show we all love ❤️
Thank you! This one was fun to do and a lot of work to coordinate but so worth it.
@@JessicaDwyer wasn’t this video made by JoBlo
@@LOTLore yep I wrote and did the interviews for it :). I’m a proud JoBro.
@@JessicaDwyer that’s awesome! I asked on the post on my subreddit if it would be possible for the full length interviews, unedited, to be posted somewhere
@@LOTLore they are fun. Wesley made me sing the theme song lol.
62 here. This show was great on Saturday morning!
Never missed an episode when the show originally aired. Fantastic for it's time and the time travel plots were very involved and deep. Not your usual kid show. Being chased through the jungle by a T-Rex while banjo music was playing was a definite Kroft touch.
I was one of those cereal eating kids. I loved this show, Star Trek the Animated Series, and others! Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Awesome video! I loved Land of the Lost as a kid.
Looking at them now, it's so funny, but I had nightmares about the Sleestaks. Lol
I use to watch land of the lost as a kid. Man I loved that show. It was so different than anything else was on.
What memories! I remember watching this show and talking about it with my friends back in 1976-77...
Well done for mentioning Sapphire and Steel, a transcendent show.
Terrifying!
😛😛😛😛😛😛hhhsssss 🐍🐍🐍🐍🐉🐍🐲🐲🐲lol
I loved this show as a kid! Thanks to everyone involved for the memories.
Wow, that Chaka interview is amazing! He has truly mastered english! But of course he would, since it's been like 50 years. 🙃😁
Seriously, this is a terrific and comprehensive piece!
I absolutely loved this show when I saw its first run as a very young child. I couldn’t wait for Saturday morning!
This show used to creep me out so much when I was little. I loved it!
It did, especially the Lizard people..
So, women secretly love creeps even though they complain about them?
I guess they're kind of like the "town floozy" in the movie, High Plains Drifter who seems to love and hate Clint Eastwood's character at the same time and even tries to shoot him.
I remember watching this when I was a kid. One of my older Brothers still has a pistol flashlight toy of this show.
Saturday morning was not complete without watching LOTL, and for a Saturday morning kid's show, they touched on some mind boggling concepts with great writing, it was amazing...
Me too!!
Loved this show when I was a kid. Still holds a special, nostalgic, place in my heart.
Thanks for this. I didn't realize the huge star trek connection. But now it explains why my mom liked watching it just as much as I did!
I was born in the 2000s but my dad showed me this incredible show. I'll never forge watching the episodes on his phone every chance I got!
It was commercial television not the BBC and of course had David McCallum as Steel.
Man, I loved this as a kid, I couldn't remember what it was called for years until some vague memories spawned a series of online searches that reconnected me with this show.
I love this show and am sad it never got continued with love and respect like Star Trek did.
David Gerrold wrote "The Trouble With Tribbles".

👍
this is what TH-cam is FOR.
thx!!!
Dude I would love to do Fall Guy. The Halloween episodes were my jam.

Sid and Marty Kroft were the Irwin Allen of Saturfay Morning TV
I was ten years old when this first went on the air, and I watched every Saturday until it went OFF the air. I loved this show so much that to this day I call my home broadband network LAN of the Lost ... 🤣
I loved this show! Thank you all for sharing!
The writing was so ahead of it's time. It was such a great show. I am happy I got a chance to watch this as a kid!
Mate, this is the BEST one you have done.
LOVED that show!!! Thanks JoBlo!!!!!! xoxo
I loved this show as a kid. I would watch it every Saturday.
They were not dead the whole time, I’ll go into it in the next episode
@@Arroyo2099 I"m just referring to the theory that they were dead.
@@artboymoy yep just can’t wait to talk about it next 🤗
Nice History on a fun show to watch as a kid ...Would've been cool if you could've got one of the Sleestaks like an unknown ..(Bill Laimbeer-Detroit Pistons) Not too many know that Laimbeer played a Sleestak on the children's TV series Land of the Lost before attending Notre Dame. He was a Palos Verdes High School student, and the Land of the Lost show solicited their basketball team for tall people to play Sleestaks! How Cool Was That !!! 😱
Grew up watching this show. It was high tech back then.
Yep was high alright (j/k)
I was a huge fan of this series!! At the time I was totally addicted, and ever since it gave me just the best memories. I’m so happy it came out. Thank you for this great history, and also to see the actors today. 🥰
Loved the show! Thanks for the memories. I think we can all agree to pretend the Will Farrell movie never happened.
More than agreed, it was a nostalgia button cash grab. If any, I don't know if it tanked.
I refused to even see it. I will only watch the original series.
Brings back great memories when I was a kid in the 70s. Thanks
I Loved These TV shows when I was a kid but looking back at today Sid and Marty Krofft had to be smoking serious amount of ganja
Loved this show as a kid, never missed an episode!
I love that old show
Also The Banana Splits
If you haven't already you shoud do the Banana splits horror movie
That was tacky they did that. Making some of the best characters/franchises into evil/horror movies anymore. Ah, well.
Wow! I never realized how much of the story that went over my head as a kid. Thanks!
The 90’s series deserves a remaster.
And forgettable.
man, i thank you for this!!!! i love it. i remember it came on after tarzan i think.
First
first to respond to this 😊
Having grown up in the 70's, Land of the Lost was a big part of my Saturday morning as a kid. I thought Holly was really cute! I can now see the STAR TREK connection in the sets and storyline. Thank you so much for this short inside look!!
Unpopular opinion: I thought the 2009 movie was good
Yes you're right it is an unpopular opinion, Will Ferrell raped my childhood when he started that piece of crap
It could have and should have been better
I loved Land of the Lost so much -- thank you for reminding me!
As a child of the 1970s this was my favorite Saturday morning show. The Sleestaks and Grumpy were definitely scary and kept this kid on the edge of his seat.
Thank you for posting this. I watched this as a child. Saturday mornings have never been the same.
This is fantastic 🎉 Not just a blast from the past. Loved all the BTS info, cast interviews, and attention to the details of the show. Thanks to all evolved. Much appreciated 👍🏿👍🏿
What a great video! Seeing this makes me smile and feel so happy inside. You all have no idea how much joy this show brought so many.
I loved this show SO MUCH as a kid! Seeing this made me want to watch it all over again!
I'm 58 and loved this show and couldn't wait for Saturday morning to watch it!
