I think you just video taped every emotion that we all felt seeing this first promo. Like you can't wait for it to start. Have to subscribe to Paramount plus to watch it. Were you just as excited to see the latest one.??
I certainly was excited, though I was very distracted by Cortana’s appearance in the show to the point that I spent half the trailer in a state of mild confusion. I over expectations for the show can be summarised as have high hopes but mo particular expectations. I’m cautiously optimistic.
@@rohanthomas4134 Having only discovered Halo 6-7 months ago I am waiting with baited breath. I have never played a video game in my life but discovered Halo from gvm’s on TH-cam that left me searching others. It pulled this old sci fi lover in deeply. Have enjoyed all the books, love the music and reading up on the canon and lore has been a highlight during some dark months. So Cortana’s appearance to me was a bit like yours but seeing her change from CE to the Wars, 3,4&5 through TH-cam cutscene vids maybe she will evolve also. I am looking forward to it.
I am aware of the controversy surrounding the race swapping for Miranda and Jacob Keyes. The same race changing appears to have happed for Soren 66 (the guy at 1:17 in the video) and possibly other books only characters appearing in the show. That does bother me somewhat and I would have rather had actors who resembled the characters canon depictions or new characters altogether. But we're stuck with it now. While I don't like this, I don't think this necessarily means the show will be of poor quality. There is no particular reason that this inaccuracy of adaptation should necessarily affect the internal logic of the show would, the depth and consistency of its characters, or adherence to at least the spirit of Halo's lore. TLDR: Yes the race swapping kinda sucks but I'm reserving judgment on the whole thing until it actually comes out.
Ah a fellow of culture recognizing the Rubble🤝
Now this man here this is a true fan of halo 👏
I see nothing irrational about this.

Check IMDb on who they cast as Keyes, otherwise it could've been a good show
