Smart dude on and off the board. Some serious calculated lines throughout the years, Vase being an obvious highlight as well as his appearances throughout the Atlantic Drift series. Articulate in this as well. Keep ripping man!
Man, I went to primary school with his youngest brother.(Ty) His fucking brother inspired me to get into skating, his family lived like down the road from me. And one time Sparrow's just fucking bombing down this massive hill. Just blew my mind and since then Ive never looked back! Tom is a legend and probably even more than that. Great interview!
Crob at the top of his game! Knox goin hard with with the best beer! Some real trick talk foot placement and spot talk, just a great episode homies. Wes’s episode is gonna b so dope!!!
Just went back and watch lost in found again... thanks!! Vaughn Baker's family lives in my city of Worcester UK. See him round from time to time in the local pub!!
Another great episode! Thanks to Chris, Raj and the whole squad. Really nice seeing Tom representing for the UK/London. Mad love to all the Knox family. (Good people) Great podcast. Peace .
When I was 16 I went to the UK, this was somewhere around 2006. We weren't allowed to bring our boards so soon as we were on our own we hunted down a shop and bought completes. Everyone we met and skated with were so fucking cool and had a different way of skating that I couldn't explain. When I got home I discovered Blueprint and was totally hooked because it reminded me of a place I grew to love. Sadly I didn't see and bristo square foot, bummed the city of Edinburgh fucked it up. Danny bradys part was incredible
Nice to hear seb sorted him out on nb. He always sorted the locals out in Sheffield with his shop sumo. Still rocking the empd sumo shirt. Good memories
Watching Tom’s “Out There” segment on Thrasher brought me back here to hear him talk about that Catfish line again. I know it’s not so simple, but I’d love to see some more British skaters on 9 Club. British skaters I would love to see on 9 club (in no particular order, lol): Chewy Cannon, John Rattray, Rory Milanes, Bod Boyle, Lucien Clarke, Kyron Davis, Blondey McCoy, Paul Shier, Alex Moul, Curtis Pearl, Dan Kreitem, Mike Arnold, Benny Fairfax, Harry Lintell, Chris Jones, Ben Grove, Sam Sitayeb ... ...and obviously Tom Penny, I just don’t imagine him actually wanting to do it!
HOLY GOD IM CLAIRVOYANT. I was googling to see if there was a vid interview of this chap last night and waiting for the next Nine Club to drop. So stoked, quality mind and skateboarder here!
Ditto please. The classic Tom Knox next thank you. For us 40yrs and over. Huge influence on me. Tom knows street, Tom knows minis, Tom knows vert. And play some fuggin Kinghorse too!
Love the Nine club thanks for all the hard-work. Im pretty sure I heard that Jamie Foy used to do wrestling back school days. Wrestling training is intense for stamina and conditioning!
Funny when Tom's NB# colorway came out I texted PJ saying "dude those kicks are dope" and PJ texted back "dude I'm hanging out with Knox right now... haha"... pretty cool - remember that PJ
Being from the Midwest, I can sympathize with rough spots and terrible weather. What's strange is our winter is WAY Worse, but their weather overall is pretty lousy. But at least there's no surprises like 70s and sunny one day and 30s with sleet the next. And there was a heat wave when I was there and no place had air conditioning
Blueprint video talk. Lost and Found hell yeah. Waiting for the World...FUCK YEAH! Totally UK feel. Magee did a proper job on this. Palmer, Kennedy, Shier, and Baines. Carl Shipman is in Waiting too and I bumped into him a few times around north Nottinghamshire, Derby and South Yorkshire. Thing is about them, and this might be because the UK is so small, it was not uncommon to find yourself skating WITH them, particularly in the Midlands or somewhere like Sheffield, just into the north. They are just normal guys and totally up for skating, chatting etc etc. If you are skating somewhere and they are around, they do not make you feel at all crappy and as though you should be sitting and watching, you just skate and that's it. I went to Blackpool once for a driving course and skated when I was not on driving. I bumped into Brady on the promenade, turned out it was his hometown. We recognised eachother from skating in Sheffield and it was cool. Chatted a bit, some skating. Not one of them has an ego. vimeo.com/208950970 EDIT: Just watching the intro actually and Paul Carter's name came up....so dope. Bristol guy. Never saw him skate personally other than in vids but so good.
"I try to avoid Cold Play at all costs" - Tom Knox. hahaha
x&y, parachutes, and a rush of blood to the head are the only ones I know and listen to.
to be honest
I love Tom, id love to see other isle crew members on the show, especially Mike arnold
cute
Helllllll yeah, been watching Tom for at least 10 years now. Stoked that he’s getting the recognition he deserves
IIIIIII
Tom knox is still underrated, so sick
this was a very refreshing episode with a totally different and likeable vibe, so cool
Most lovely guest. Could tell they genuinely both enjoyed the conversation
Man that was literally one of the best episodes. I was a fan of his before, but now I'm a huge fan. Seems like such a great dude.
I just light up Every time I get a notification for a nine club episode. I learn so much from these episodes.
Smart dude on and off the board. Some serious calculated lines throughout the years, Vase being an obvious highlight as well as his appearances throughout the Atlantic Drift series. Articulate in this as well. Keep ripping man!
i read this comment in a british voice

That last minute of the episode had me dying. Such a great guest. Fantastic job guys.
The best episode yet. Tom's a lovely guy and an amazing skater, but the rapport between Chris and Tom made this one a certified winner. Top notch.
We need Nick Jensen next!
dazza
Excellent interview, thank you very much. Tom is a beautiful person, and it's really interesting to hear his point of view on skating and life.
Great to see skaters outside of the states, top notch again boy's....
he pleasantly blew my mind telling about his past much props to him I feel like I want to rewATCH his skating knowing he's really about skateboarding
Be good to see more Brits on the show, Ben Raemers would be cool.
Did you notice Ben wearing Justin's wig in this one?
I've been saying that for months. Roger films and edits the enjoi vids so I don't see why they haven't gotten him yet
@@mosmith3026 from what I can tell Ben spends a lot of time in the UK so probably more to do with the timing of him being in LA unfortunately
@@rbnfrmntl5751 I loved ben back in the days! the first video i saw him on was "This 'n' That" fucking bestttt video!
Man, RIP. 😔
Crob at the top of his game! Knox goin hard with with the best beer! Some real trick talk foot placement and spot talk, just a great episode homies. Wes’s episode is gonna b so dope!!!

UK Legend! Skated the Canada Water rail spot with him when he was tiny, he was killing it back then
His view on life about moderation and appreciation is rad. I really can relate to that.
Glad they mentioned lost and found. I went over there in 05 and it oppened my eyes to UK skating. Loved blueprint.
I remember watching him and is brother sparrow, with Ben Raemers in Rad the groms tour the Baltic.
Get Ben Reamers on the show!
First heard of Knox when he was riding for Emerica and knew he was gonna blow up one day. 10 years later here we are :)

You should have the other Tom Knox on next week!
I thought the same, would be kind of funny to see two episodes with the same name next to each other. Some would think it's a double upload lmao
You mean the REAL Tom Knox.
