The 1992 Nets had Chris Morris (good player), DC (superb when he decided to play and not drink the nite before), Kenny Anderson (someone else like DC who didn't do what he could), and Petrovic (their real best player and only one who worked hard, Vernon Maxwell said he was harder to guard than MJ). If DC and Kenny would have focused they woulda been nice.
@@shaftlamer Barkley was never ever considered lazy during his career. He came straight to the 76ers and was good but his diet was crazy. Not his work ethic. My favorite power forward is Derrick Coleman. Growing up a Nets fan in New Jersey, it was so awesome to have DC. He had a handle, post-up, long range shooting, and he was tough as nails. His injuries - especially his back injuries - hurt his career. Having Coleman and Larry Johnson in the NBA in the 90s was fantastic.

Derrick Coleman didn't live up to his potential, had 4 good seasons but after 96, his laziness & attitude are reasons why he underachieved , he had skill, no drive
SHEED AND BONZI is right, DC was WAYYYYYY AHEAD OF HIS TIME. Power Forward who can shoot, pass, handle, great rebounder, post game. The era back then didn’t know what to do with. The pigeonholed him to be the prototypical Power Forward. If DC played now, it would be a wrap.
DC was my favorite player as a nets fan in the early 90’s if starks doesn’t injure Anderson right before the playoffs they could’ve surprised some teams. Also Pertovic dying really sucked.
Wasted talent man. He was a top 5 PF talent. Face up 4, could shoot, handle, post etc. Straight problems. Bonzi was right, really good career, but could've been even greater!
Barkley said if DC had work ethic he would have been one of the best. Cause his talent was crazy.
Alonzo Mourning said the same when they were teammates playing for Team USA in the 1994 FIBA World Cup!

DC was one of the most skilled 4's ever
DC and Kenny Anderson should’ve been so big time. That was KG and Marbury before KG and Marbury.
That actually was a good nets Team..
If Petrovic didnt perish in that accident. Who knows how far the nets would have gone. Such a nasty trio. RIP Drazen.

DC was a Monster..in High School he was a man amongst Boys. Great skill set,he had handles for a big guy too. A Beast
I had a pair of those Derrick Coleman British Knights shoes 😂😂
I remember as a kid in Flint Michigan Derrick Coleman came to the Urban League in a U-Haul truck and gave away hundreds of pairs of British knights.

There was one playoff series where Coleman brought the ball up. Basically, running the point.
I remember his five by five game:
21 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists, 5 steals, and 5 blocks.
My Pops used 2 run with them on In The Zone. Man its been so many unsung players. That i put on my list of my favorite players that has casuals lost
I Remember back in the day DC used to pull up in the hood in the 18-wheeler giving away free British knights
DC dunked on Snaq & nearly made him cry 😅😅😅😅😅
Don't forget Terry Mills. He was probably the best 3 point shooter of those early stretch 4s
Maybe Sam 'Big Smooth' Perkins.
Terry Mills was such a liability on defense though.
Perkins didn't have as good as a three ball early on but was much better defensively.
Both those guys dominated the Detroit area in 1986.
"SHEED" says it best
He dunked on Shaq! The end!😂
Dam Sheed you used to smoke with Cliff I want to hear all about that
