Newer NES fakes are definitely becoming pretty good quality. If you are looking for a specific NES game, this can help you in figuring out the main steps in telling if one is real or not.

Just looking at the pins should be easy, the fake is bright and solid. Why would anyone fake these, there are so many more expensive games to choose from.

@@gumptendoyeah, if they were only doing Dinosaur Peak and Little Samson, as long as it works and is labeled as a reproduction, I would buy it because the originals are overpriced. Once they are doing Excitebike and Metroid, that is when I get extremely mad.
these days, if someone doesnt allow you to look at the board inside, just pass. Unless you dont care, realistically they work just fine and technically theres no reason to own them other than for the "authentic feel" But like in the video usually the bootlegs have some pretty bad labels, which i care about. Ive seen some bootleg'd Uninvited games where the label is weirdly red tinted.

usually they can be worse, due to how cheap they are. Sometimes they just dont hold saves for example
