I like watching Polk play because he's an emotional guy, and he provides a great example of how an emotional person needs to take emotions out of the decision making in tough situations.
I chose check- back, not bluff. The reason is, aside from my meager showdown value, is Doug's check back on the flop. As JL pointed out , lot of hands with back-door clubs are finding a C bet, so...
Given Polks stack size, I think a bluff is mandatory on the river, and MUST be large. You have to be representing a Q or J flush that is hoping to get a weaker flush to make a crying call. Any other bet size makes no sense with four of the flush on the board. You either have a flush or you have a counterfeit hand if you ever had anything at all. So it's got to be big, and he's got the stack to be pouring on the pressure.
That flat call on the turn is perfect to make a 20k bet look like I have a mediocre club and am seeking value. Not too small because Dwan has the balls to re raise or jam and then youre cooked, but not too big to where it looks bluffy. Perfect size. Toms going to consider all these variables and a middle sizing on the larger end I think would get it done. Too small or too big I dont think gets it through against such a good player. Especially a player with boulder sized balls Welp....guess we'll never know. Still think a half pot bet would have been pretty nasty. 30k just seems too big. With that board and how the hand was played if im Dwan ive got doug on a small holding so 20k after the flat on the turn seemed perfect to make it look like my mediocre holding had a club in it. Guess we'll never know.
I wonder if durr thought since doug raised pre and two clubs hit flop, he would c-bet with a backdoor flush with a good blocker. That's about the only way I could call that river bet.
Doug vs Dwan is always interesting to watch. Doug wants to battle him hard and Dwan loves it because Doug is extremely bluffy and aggressive. Give us more D vs D please! 😍
I guess that if I had the flush but was weak 2 med I would just bet 10 k in hopes that villain comes over the top reraise same with this bluff. So I can check reraise to 30 and hope for the fold.???? I still lose 30 but put villain in a tough spot.
@@miked4309 Tom called cos he's been playing like a fish & has been a huge losing player for months now, so I wouldn't be proud to have played this the same as him lol he was right here luckily for him it was the right call, bad call but right call

Who do YOU think would win in a heads-up battle, Dwan or Polk?
Doug
Tom, I don't rate Doug
I like Polk's reaction. He just nods his head in appreciation of a good call by Dwan.
True!

what a sucker comment doug will destroy you

I think that's the main factor in this hand.
why dwan look like he hasn't slept in years?
They said he lost $1 million last night. How would you have slept?
The poker life and age has got to him really hard, ever since he's come back into the spot light he's been looking rough
@@moneymikz if I was a professional poker player… probably wouldn’t even phase me 🤷🏽♂️
What do you mean years? He slept 4hrs Mar 6.
He now looks like a scumbag.

I like your thinking.
Hands like this I am just completely lost in the woods, a 4 flush on the board, ranges are completely wide open and uncapped.
Doug plays pretty well against Dwan, but whatever reason Dwan has his number in all these big pots
Thanks. ✌🏻👊🏼
No problem 👍

Doug polarized himself soo much that i think he either have Q c or bluff so i like smaller sizing so we can bet like pair lower than 8 with a club.
GOAT X2
I would bet 20k on that river especially because Tom checked the river. That was a bad call by Tom.
When you’re at the bottom of your range on a wet board, you are supposed to be big right? Make them fold out all but the top of their range.

Is Dwan supposed to be playing, shouldn't he be working a regular job? Lol
Why would he? He is a millionaire lmao
@CanariasCanariass bro is the brokest millionaire on earth.
snap bluff. 50% pot maybe even smaller
Dwan owes people millions
I am not sure!
Nice One MATE!!
Thank you!
I'll bet around 50% on the river in dug place
and lose just like he did. meow meow meow meowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Durrr boss…
Check the river
If you’re going to bluff. I would over bet.
Fair!
i would over bet the pot but i bet tom calls thinking that.
