Im starting to appreciate how funny Louis is more and more. I only ever used to watch Chappelle and Bill Burr but Louis is right up there. He’s a great comedian who we all just happen to know a little too much about. Can’t be nice for him wherever he goes and the first thought people have is of him asking a girl if he can bash one out.

This was a great set. I saw him do this material in January of last year in a tiny club that holds 200 for like 30 bucks. Pretty crazy, because it ended up being my last live event before the pandemic shut everything down for over a year. Louis is working hard to get back to where he was before he made his mistakes, and it was an incredible night. I got WAY too drunk and barely remember the end of the set, but it's still a night I'll remember for a long time to come.
Lmao Very similar experience. I saw Louis is August at the Hulu theater but drank too much right before(heard a friend passed that day) so even though I remember crying laughing I dont remember much of the set. Lucky for me, that exact set was being filmed and is now the "Sorry" special. He got such a standing ovation. New York definitely missed the big guy

If so, that's sexual harassment on the job, so yeah he should have apologized for that. If they weren't his coworkers and they gave consent, then no harm no foul and right, he didn't need to apologize. But either way, it's done. He did apologize, and hopefully everyone will move on now and he'll finally get back to entertaining people again. I for one have missed him and am glad he's back. :)

I don't think it's a blackout drunk thing when it comes to not totally remembering great shows. I really think it's just the vibe and adrenaline that gets in the way. There's so much greatness going on that it's hard to catch all of it later on. Happens to me all the time

Great observation. There are plenty of stand-up comedians, each with their own style. But to me - those that stand-up (pun intended) above the rest are the extremely intelligent comedians who are extremely intelligent, witty and (as you have mentioned) have an actual point. I absolutely would be a donor and I encourage to donate. I carry my donor card with me in my wallet. I'd rather have them strip me for parts and maybe save a life or two, than put it in the ground and feed the worms. My dad was in need of a new lung for 10 years, before some guy died in an accident, who had his donor card on him when he did and my dad got his lung. This was in 2015. My dad was on the way out, he wasn't doing too hot. If that guy hadn't had that card with him, there's a good chance that my dad wouldn't be with us anymore. I mean, he's not, he died of Covid last year, but that ain't the point. My point is: You never know when you (or even worse, one of your kids) are gonna be in need of an organ and then you're gonna pray for a donation. Let's not be selfish with this shit. Some will say 'but my beliefs are important to me' and I'll say I'll shit on your beliefs. If your belief prevents you from saving a life at no cost to you (you're gonna be already dead), then that belief is worth nothing.

I used to not really like the idea of my organs getting donated. Then I watched a show where a young man had died and he was an organ donor. His family didn't like it, but then they brought out all the people who had recieved his donations. There were 6 or 7 different people who got a new lease on life thanks to the generosity of the young man who died. That always stuck with me, that his final act was to help so many people in the last way he could.

I just watched Moneyball last night and realized that Frank looks a lot like the actor who plays David Justice in the movie. Stephen Bishop is his name. I was watching the movie for like an hour being like... "Where the hell do I know this actor from?!" Then it clicked.... OH SHIT he looks like Frankenstein. ha
Bishop's face looks longer to me than Frank's, and Frank has a lot more facial hair, but yeah their cheeks are similar and the nose and eyes are very close in shape; I can see how you saw a resemblance. They're both handsome fellas. :)
