You's need to run some of those community polls to boost your channel in the TH-cam algorithm. It will put your content in front of 1,000's of more eyes and get you crazy subs.

Then any sort of community update or poll that you post shows up in the recommended list almost like a Facebook timeline. The main purpose of it is that people click on polls more often than they watch whole videos or press the like button or comment. So for the purposes of the TH-cam algorithm it counts as community interaction and ranks you a little bit higher for each click.
