The problem Angela might have to face one day is Tao not being there, likely due to Mama's propensity for violence, and he no longer being able to perform anything new because she's cheated her way through it.
I think he may have used his neurology knowledge to make the songs have a type of brainwashing effect and to "artificially" touch people. In that case, maybe the robot would make the difference like Teaboo suggests, not being affected by it as he is an IA.

I'm with you... I hate the character Pyotr but damn his performance looked cool with the animation and dancing + plus the singer VA is pretty nice!
