    I’m using my KUVINGS REVO830 to make this juice. It is the best juicer I’ve used. The juice comes out super smooth with minimal waste and very little oxidation.
    You save tons of prep time, because you can add full sticks of
    carrots, celery, and whole oranges, apples, etc. As a bonus the machine also makes sorbets, plant milk, and
    smoothies!@kuvingsusa

      Well, the one point I want to make is that removing meat alone from an unhealthy diet is not going to result in good health. If you are eating meat, refined sugar, refined wheat products, a high amount of oil, and other high glycemic and high fat foods, meat is not your main problem.
      Being a healthy vegan is not simply a result of removing meat from your diet. It requires eating a diverse diet of healthy, high micronutrient foods, as well as responsibly supplementing. Exercise, especially weight barring, should also be part of the healthy vegan equation.

      Great results, but be mindful that loosing weight alone will typically result in better numbers. However, there are some ways to loose weight that can cause detrimental effects long term. I would not utilize juicing and eating just fruit to become healthy. Long term, this would potentially create some vitamin deficiencies and additional health issues. And, once you stop juicing, the weight is going to come right back unless you change the way you were eating prior to juicing. So, the approach I would use is to skip the juicing / raw fruit and just change my diet to healthy, whole foods that are balanced to give me the vitamins and minerals needed ( along with proper supplements). This is how I would approach it based on what I know. I am not a healthcare provider, so please don't make changes based on what I am saying. I suggest speaking to your healthcare provider about this topic for guidance. Thanks for watching! 🙏🏾

    • @healthyveganeating
      @healthyveganeating  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      That is correct, but, for the six benefits I stated, juicing is great. Water doesn't have fiber either, but that's not a reason not to drink it. Also, a person like myself who literally eats 500% more fiber than the RDA, drinking juice is not going to cause a lack of fiber. So, like so many things, it depends on a person's health status, current diet, and health goals.

      @amayl5191 thank you for mentioning fiber! Yes, PLEASE follow the advise of the scientists who are showing us the harms of any juicing that 1) throws away the fiber (the food for the beneficial bacteria in our large intestine) and 2) contains more than 12g of fructose which without the fiber is absorbed in our small intestine to then be turned into fat in our liver. I do not like to eat salads, so I put the vegetables and a bit of whole fruit for taste into a Vitamix as Dr. Brooke Goldner demonstrates.

    • @UnclGee
      @UnclGee 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@healthyveganeating I have to say that your listed benefits are better achieved with those ingredients and water in a high -powered blender, per several studies according to Dr. Michael Greger, Dr. Brooke Goldner and others. Throwing away the fiber is counterproductive.

    I have all those ingredients for the juice except I have red bell peppers and strawberries instead of an orange bell pepper and raspberries. I’m sure I can use these, but wondering if it makes any difference. Probably just in the taste? I love juicing, and it healed my body. I have at least one green juice every morning. I also put in about four green apples because I like mine a little sweeter. What do you think of that? I hope it’s OK. It sure makes it taste great. I also add turmeric, ginger, cilantro, parsley, cucumber, celery, and lemon.

    Thanks - great video as ever! ❤😊 But I thought that juice actually breaks a fast, because it has an effect on blood sugar (makes it rise)?

      Juice fasting is about fasting the body from digesting food. So, yes, you are correct that it effects blood sugar, but it still allows your digestive system to rest.

    That was really useful I also juice and can see the benefits of it. What kind of bottle is that which you have the juice in? Also how long can juice be stored in the fridge before you lose the nutrients?

    • @healthyveganeating
      @healthyveganeating  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I have several bottles that I have saved over the years, so I am not sure where I got it. Whole produce and juiced produce looses nutrients daily, so its best to use asap. As soon as they are picked, they are loosing nutrients during transport, sitting on the grocery shelf, and in our refrigerators.

    i never understood the logic of juicing. why waste the nutritious fiber?
    Whole fruit, why just fruit without fiber?
    specific illness might enjoy less fiber tho.
    juicing is wasting non-toxic advantagous nutriment?
    only reasond id see is specific illness with fiber or "wanting to drink 600 fruit instead of eating 40"

    • @MassMultiplayer
      @MassMultiplayer 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      easy an delicious to "drink" the meal tho, i get that part, (and nice for ehlping people transition to whole food plant based, but some go obsessive with it)
      i prefer no jucing 55 nutriment 2200 calori 3$ canaidan without animal corpse or secretion + b12 and iodinised salt and synthetic creatine and vitamine D

      I agree. I follow evidence based science showing that juicing can lead to type 2 diabetes without having the fiber to slow down the sugar spike that happens without the fiber. I used to eat fruit juice sweetened jam without any other sugars added, and juiced along with my whole food vegan diet and exercise program, until my GP doctor, Naturopathic Doctor, Registered Dietician and Certified Nutritionist told me that removing and breaking down the pulp and fiber from whole fruit and vegetables is the equivalent of drinking pop with similar negative health impacts, even if you're getting the vitamins and antioxidant benefits from the fruit and veggies. Sure enough, my blood test results proved that by moving me into prediabetes stage (I don't eat any added sugars at all in my diet, except from fruit), although my energy was super high (which I was told was from the sugar spike). I quit juicing and making smoothies and started following Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn's advice of eating whole fruits with a little bit of protein to further mitigate blood sugar spikes. My blood test results are normal now and the nut butter I have with my fruit adds to my protein intake and bigger muscles from my strength training, particularly important for me as I get older (I am a 48 year old East Asian woman).

      That is correct about fiber, but for the six benefits I stated, juicing is great. Water doesn't have fiber either, but that's not a reason not to drink it. Also, a person like myself who literally eats 500% more fiber than the RDA, drinking juice is not going to cause a lack of fiber. So, like so many things, it depends on a person's health status, current diet, and health goals.
