Motorcycle Turn Signal 101 - LED Incandescent Running Turn and Brake Lights

Installing 3 wire LED turn lights on 2014 VN900. Bike harness is three wire but I can get the running lamps OR the turn lamps to work, not both. What am I doing wrong?

Installed new turn signals on the rear. The set came with 5008 incandescent bulbs, 2 wire setup... once rewired and flip the switch they only come on solid and not flashing. Would a load equalizer/ resistor fix this? Tested a 1156 bulb and it works like normal, so I'm assuming it's amperage issue.

ok i have 2 wire turn signals one blue and one green is so is the blue wire still for same in this video and green for well ground ?

hi I installed all 4 LED turn signals on my Yamaha yzf600r but all 4 turn signals light up when I chose left turn signal all 4 light up and the same when i chose right turn all 4 light up .. any idea how to fix ?? Thankyou

Hello, sorry without knowing step-by step how your installation was performed we cannot absolutely say; but it sounds like maybe you need to install some diodes in line of your turn signal wiring.

Can you run incondesent in the front and LED in the rear turn signals.

Hello, you can but you will most likely need a load equalizer to keep things running properly.

Hi Chris, without looking at your bike/electrical system it's impossible to say where the problem lies. Double back and make sure you've got all the connections correct and they are making good contact.

Hi, I put led turn signals on the rear of my bike and its sucking all the energy to the rear turn signals and nothing in the front turn signals.. what happened? thanks

Hi Peter, without actually seeing your bike and what was done it's hard to say. Did you use a load equalizer?

Do not change your oem turn signals
B4 u read up whats legal and not
But my suggestion
Replace with oem atleast the casing
And blinker but a led bulb can be
An option
But again check what is legal for the
Road/hwy
What is accepted by DOT
and hwy patrol etc
Utube videos may not offer all
The legal stuff when in comes
To DOT
Best of all the oem stuff usually
Works unless it comes to modes
Or bad component.
